Mowtom found Bubble while traveling in the Unova region. Her mother belonged to Catlin of the Elite Four, but Bubble wanted to see the world. She did inherit one thing from her mother's trainer, however. Bubble enjoys battling, but she can have trouble staying awake, even during a battle.

Type: Psychic
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Ability:
Magic Guard
  • This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, and Partial Trapping moves. It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.

"No I don't. Look here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uususpecttest-215818259. I used perish song turn (round) 1, and only died on turn (round) 4. I survive round 3 without a problem. Also I changed the imprison to Substitute instead of Shadow Ball before you posted the reffing, so Substitute should be Imprisoned and the Shadow Ball should have worked. I'll let you re-reff."
 
Thing is in ASB, we calculate end of round stuff even if the opponent faints like poison damage and perish song counter, so unfortunately, Reuniculus faints

Here is a recent hall run by TSRD where Perish Song is reffed and the round it is used in ticks down the counter by 1. This is how it was always reffed and every single hall run ive seen had it reffed like this

btw just to make it clear: Mowtom is right about ingame being different. But in ASB perish song on round 1 kicks in on round 3 yeah. At least that is how it was commonly reffed ever since I remember.

The mechanics of Perish Song, right now, will stay as is (different from ingame). But Mowtom may warrant a reorder. "May" as in, up for the ref and the hall manager to decide as there are valid reasons for giving and denying a reorder.

ASB Perish Song lasts 3 rounds - much like ASB Rain Dance lasts 4 Rounds. We have always included the casting round when it comes to "Round" durations - Perish Song Round 1 means death as Round 3 Concludes. I do not feel this warrants a reorder =\
