Completed Battle on the seven seas! Little Battler vs Alchemator, With Glacier as ref!

    "Master, another ship seems to be heading towards us." Glacier's Xatu spoke calmly and almost at a whisper, but there was a hint of excitement in her telepathy. Glacier turned to her, somewhat perturbed he was interrupted. The teen was happily munching on a delicious platter of breakfasts foods cooked by five star chefs.

    "Twila," Glacier started, but then swallowed the remaining food in his mouth. "Remember what Alchemator told us when he gave us these tickets? he said to relax and have a good time." Twila turned to her owner and gave a puzzling glance. "Too bad he didn't mention anything about the battle."
    Battle? Glacier almost spoke, but the huge explosion spoke for him. With out a seconds notice he grabbed his sword and shield (a knight never leaves without them), and with his Xatu floating behind him he rushed past the shrieking people and up to the sky deck.

    "Good God." was all Glacier could say, as he finally saw the behemoth of a battle ship. It was a little bigger than the S.S Alch, but what was startling was that while the ship glacier was aboard modeled a cruise liner, the monster right beside was a full on pirate ship, stocked with cannons, planks, and even the blood thirsty buccaneers themselves. from the front deck a voice could be heard. it was sharp and rusty, with a tone that suggested the boy drank a little too much sea salt and rum.

    "Batten the hatches!" the kid was dressed in a jack sparrow halloween costume that was 3 sizes too big, and when he pointed to the cruise ship the other pirates were confused. suddenly a much calmer, collected voice was heard from the S.S Alch, and when Glacier turned around there was the captain himself.

    "Didn't you read up on your pirate little battler? 'Batten the hatches' means to prepare for a storm." Alchemator took small strides to the front of the deck, and when he got to where Glacier was he smiled. "Its a good thing you're here. We'll need a ref."

    Glacier sighed, seeing as this was a trap to ref, not relax! "Fine, i'll do it. Let the battle begin!" he called, and the two Trainers pulled up their fisticuffs (fisticuffs?) and bared their teeth.

    Round 1: Shiver me Timbers! It's a boat battle!

    As the cannon fodder continues we see Corona with up a nasty spiral of wind form the sea! The Twister forms right in between the two ships, and witht he command of their trainer Little Battler's pokemon jump inside! Alch and his team watch curiously as they fall down into the twister, falling closer and closer to a watery grave. but then WHOOSH! the Twister picks up, and sends the trio shooting from wind tunnel and onto the battle deck! their performance was impressive, but the enemy is prepared, for as soon as they land Cornell is pummeled with a Drill Peck and a dirty Sucker Punch! Cornell falls back in pain, and from behind the fallen Trochic jumps Lunatic, ready to Return the pain to Terrence! The eevee makes contact with the tiny bird and he gives a squawk. Cornell has now recovered enough to fight, and with rage he bellows a surging Blast of immense Fire power! this super-nova of heat blazes past alchemator and the ref and hit Micheal the Pawniard with a sizzle! Seeing as that special attack hurt his allies dearly Lloyd sets up a Light Screen to prevent any more powerful attacks.

    The battle rolls on furiously as Corona fights back with his Hidden Power!Red orbs fly from the Snivy to Micheal, who right now is ganging up with Terrence once again on Cornell. One Psyshock and Critical hitNight Slash combination later Cornell is writhing in pain on the deck! Lunatic one again steps up to plate and Returns fire at Terrence! The attack does more damage than before and it sends the Natu hopping back to safety. Seeing as he has little health left Cornell decided to give it all or nothing! He draws in a deep breath, and channeling the fury, rage and Blaze-ing power from within he Over heats! The Critical inferno collides into Micheal, who takes it full force! The smoke form burning metal fades and we see Micheal still standing, though the metal has been heated too much and he takes on the appearance of melting! Cornell gives a sigh of relief as his opponents shrieks in pain, but he doesn't notice the little lamb behind him release a Thunderbolt at point blank! The singed birds gives another cry of pain, and he falls down as Lloyd merrily skips over to his Trainer's side. Alch reaches down and pets the little thing, and as he raises up he gives a smirk to Little battler.

    Corona, give that pawn another show of your latent powers! and do not stop! keep pelting him with it!

    Lunatic! Try to isolate Terrence from the others with a quick attack! And then,give him a nice pounding with Return!

    Firstly, Alch's substitution "if he attacks use Sucker Punch" for the previous round is an illegal substitution. On the first action of the first round, Michael should've used Night Slash. The overall result of this is that Michael has 3 less energy and Cornell has 1 more HP (incidentally Sucker Punch would've failed anyway because the target and the user were on different ships).

    Secondly, Glacier forgot to account for Light Screen in the Hidden Power damage calculation. The overall result of this is that Michael has 7 more HP.

    Thirdly, Corona's speed should be 73 because the speed in a +speed nature always rounds up.

    Therefore, the start-of-round standings are a bit different.

    Michael is looking rather weak after the attacks on him from the previous round, but just as Cornell is about to strike, he unleashes a double Sucker Punch on the unsuspecting Torchic. The surprise attack has knocked him out completely! Lunatic retaliates with a Quick Attack to Terrence while Corona uses his Hidden Power on Michael, though thanks to Team Alchemator's Light Screen, he barely feels a thing. But suddenly Terrence starts crying all of a sudden. It looks like he wanted to go first but was just too slow. Lloyd finishes by picking up the slack with a double Signal Beam that puts a huge dent in Corona.

    Then not much happens. A happy Lunatic Returns his love for his trainer by attacking Terrence (and lands a critical hit), a frustrated Corona tries his Hidden Power out on Michael again but only does a tiny amount of damage, Terrence once again cries about being slower than Corona and Team Alchemator's other two pokemon cool down after their exhausting combos.

    EDIT: Oh, you mean ship 1 or ship 2. Terrence would use extra energy for Drill Peck since it would have to fly across to the other ship and then back again, but since it can fly, it'd be doable. Lloyd's attacks are non-contact so they'd work as normal.

    It looks like raw power for the most part this round, as Corona unleashes another Hidden Power on Michael (still doing virtually no damage with it despite its elemental properties). But Terrence chooses instead to Roost and restore some lost vitality, just in time to find out the hard way how Lunatic loves to Return his trainer's feelings for him. Meanwhile, Michael slashes at Corona with X-Scissor and Lloyd, who up to this point has been ignored, uses his own Hidden Power on Corona, thereby triggering his innate ability.

    And that ability kicks in as Corona catches Terrence in a Leaf Tornado, but Terrence was already done roosting by the time it hit, and he retaliates with a Drill Peck while Michael finishes him off with another X-Scissor (and a critical hit no less). That's now two of Little Battler's mons knocked out. Lunatic desperately tries to Return his trainer's love and knock out Terrence, but the Natu is still flying. Lloyd finishes up by zapping the Eevee with a Thunderbolt. And it's now 3 vs 1. Can Little Battler do anything now?

    Lunatic figures that the best way to win is to strike Terrence with a Quick Attack before he can do any harm to him. However, Terrence was prepared and, before being struck, he attacks with a double Sucker Punch that does a good amount of damage to Lunatic. However, the Natu is knocked out by the Eevee's attack. Avenging their fallen ally, Michael Torments Lunatic while Lloyd zaps him with another Thunderbolt.

    And the torment has made Lunatic unable to jump onto the other ship with Quick Attack. Lloyd takes the opportunity to set up a Reflective barrier while Michael unleashes his Revenge, although since he wasn't hit at all, there's not much to be vengeful for.
