Serious question. How would i even know if its hacked? Ill take them down though.

Look into the history of different ways Pokemon can be captured and what they should have. It's not that hard to look up restrictions on the specifications of certain event Pokemon. Bulbapedia and Serebii have fair databases on this. Project Pokemon and Pokecheck have excellent legality checkers for 5th generation Pokemon. If you're still confused after looking through these resources, you can ask a moderator about the legality of your Pokemon (though don't PM them a thread's worth. That's just lazy).

Again, if you're hesitant to offer something you didn't catch or breed yourself, don't. I can sympathize with someone who meant no harm when trading, but I don't want ignorance of legality to hurt other traders here.

I know the rules say no hacked pokemon, but is it okay to leave it up for trade with it marked as a hacked? In case those who dont care about hacked can trade for it knowing that it is hacked.

Absolutely not. You are not allowed to offer hacked Pokemon of any variety.
