Ralts sends out a Confuse Ray to try and shake up the weakened Lileep, and it appears to work, as Lileep hits itself in confusion instead of chilling out. How that works, I don't really know, but what's important is that Lileep is very low on energy and that if it gets unlucky with confusion it could energy ko itself. Additionally, the poison will wear down its HP, so even if it has time to chill it'll still be at risk of regular fainting.
Continuing the disruption pattern, Ralts uses Thunder Wave. With this, Lileep has hardly any chances of actually performing its moves. Miraculously, Lileep does manage to Chill and restore some energy. Still, its odds of winning this matchup are incredibly slim.
Ralts attacks with Confusion, and to make things even worse for Lileep, the attack scores a critical hit! That's seriously unlucky! Furthermore, Lileep is fully paralyzed and can't act. With hardly any energy or HP left, Lileep takes some more poison damage. Still, Lileep isn't in KO range, so don't count it out just yet.

akela swaps out Lileep for Brattler. I guess he's trying to 3-0 his opponent, which is a little mean considering ViralN9 is new, but that's how things go sometimes. Ralts sends another Confuse Ray out, and Brattler just hits itself in confusion instead of curing its teammates.
Ralts then spews out some Toxic, but Brattler is already poisoned so the attack doesn't do anything. Annoyed, Brattler summons three shadows: one that looks like itself, and two that look like its teammates. The shadows then attack Ralts with Beat Up and do major damage. One of the hits was even a critical hit! That was a pretty cool attack, I've never really seen it in use before. I bet in a battle with a lot of Pokemon it could be put to excellent use.
Knowing its support moves won't be of much use, Ralts uses Magical Leaf to attack Brattler with a truly magical leaf. The attack hardly does any damage though, as Brattler easily resists the move and strikes back with Payback. Ralts is definitely feeling those attacks, and probably won't be able to take another one.
