This was, without a doubt, the most difficult match I've participated in thus far. Thank you for providing such an amazing battle, Gerard. You played so well up through midgame, keeping constant momentum and taking off huge chunks of my mons' HP. It was a miracle to pull out the win in the end. I'll do my best to win Mewtwo, for the both of us. Thanks again, and I look forward to raiding with you!

Ok, first it's first congratulations on your victory Birkal, it was well deserved , you played very well and I wish you luck on the rest of the tourny (at least that way I can say I was beaten by the champion :P) and I plan on getting my revenge real soon so don't rest on those leaves just yet. Second, ans this goes for everyone I'm sure is gonna be talking behind my back every time I leave IRC, if you got something to say then tell it to my face, I checked my actions again and again and I can assure you this wasn't a choke. It was a combination of making a couple of mistakes and having been outplayed a few round, though that little bit of hax definitely didn't help either, but what am I gonna do? I tried a comeback and I couldn't, if there's one regret I have is letting Gallade die so early (and maybe having used that EQ Combo when I could) but live and learn. Am I disappointing on losing this round? Yes, of course I am, am I bitter? Not at all, I enjoyed this battle, and I don't have anything to cry over as this is what I think this tournament is all about. All I can hope for is that the next one is for doubles :D
