This week, we're going to break Vertex 's version of Mega Slowbro BO. Good luck and have fun!!

Timid Nature

- Heat Wave
- Knock Off
- U-turn

The aim for this team is to clear up the Pokemon which counter Mega Slowbro and go for a Calm Mind sweep late-game. As such, Magnezone is used to trap Pokemon like Scizor and Ferrothorn which is annoying for Slowbro. Garchomp is added as a Stealth Rock user. SD is used to wallbreak and pressure more passive builds. Yache Berry is used to lure and KO Electric-types which annoy this team. Terrakion is the muscle of the team, breaking walls left and right with Banded Close Combat and Stone Edges while also nailing Tangrowth and Celebi with X-Scissor. AV Tangrowth provides the team with a fast Pokemon which can pivot into Gengar and Alakazam. Tangrowth is used to check stuff like Azumarill and Mega Gyarados while providing status. Since this is an offensive team, play this team aggressively and rely on the triple Regenerator core to recover health as necessary until the time comes for Mega Bro to sweep. Take note that this team is weak to Spikes-stacking teams.

Firstly, nice team Vertex.

Each of this Pokemon are really playable in game and not eccentrics.

Clefable @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Focus Blast

You must set up with Clefable or Alakazam and win, but SR have to be put before set up for clean without problems.
I recommend to set up Clefable to begin.

Some calcs with Clef @Babiri Berry :

252 SpA Magnezone Flash Cannon vs. +1 248 HP / 0 SpD Babiri Berry Clefable: 96-114 (24.4 - 29%) -- 99.5% chance to 4HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Iron Head vs. 248 HP / 240+ Def Babiri Berry Clefable: 116-137 (29.5 - 34.8%) -- 11.3% chance to 3HKO

+1 0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Magnezone: 248-294 (88.2 - 104.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 56 SpD Tangrowth: 356-420 (88.3 - 104.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Other Pokemon are literally crushed by Clefable.

Some calcs with Mega-Alakazam :

+1 252 SpA Mega Alakazam Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 315-372 (88.2 - 104.2%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252 SpA Mega Alakazam Psychic vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Tangrowth: 433-511 (107.1 - 126.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 SpA Mega Alakazam Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Mega Slowbro: 326-384 (82.7 - 97.4%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

And is very easy to set up M-Alakazam in front of Tornadus-T, Slowbro, Magnezone.
If you succeed to do 2 CM, you win.

Weavile + Manectric

Creator of Chaos you were complaining about the lack of Weavile + Manectric?

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Low Kick

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Hidden Power Ice

Weavile on it's own is able to OHKO half the team. Torn and Chomp go down to icicle crash, Terrakion folds to Low Kick, and Magnezone also is OHKOed by Low Kick with a little prior damage. Manectric does what it does best, being able to OHKO Slowbro, Tangrowth, and Magnezone. Additionally, using Volt Switch on Magnezone puts it in range of Weavile's Low Kick. Also last week nobody posted weavile+mane

lmao weavile + mega manectric wins again

Mega Heracross + Thundurus

Yes, its the bulky set that people are dickriding atm. Substitute Mega Hera just destroys this team by itself lmao. While it is hard to get up a sub on most of the members, as soon as Tangrowth comes out, you instantly lose like 1 or 2 pokemon if you plays their cards right. The whole team gets OHKOed or 2HKOed by its standard coverage. Thundurus by itself destroys the team too. I prefer Thunder Wave in this core vs this team for slowing down TornT and stuff, but Nasty Plot makes you click x too, as nothing can eat a hit combined with focus blast coverage.

Heracross-Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Guts / Moxie
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Atk / 84 Def / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Close Combat
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave / Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast

Accelgor @ Life Orb
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Focus Blast
- HP Ice
- Energy Ball/Giga Drain

252+ SpA Life Orb Accelgor Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 164 SpD Mega Slowbro: 351-413 (89 - 104.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Life Orb Accelgor Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 56 SpD Tangrowth: 549-650 (136.2 - 161.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Accelgor Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Terrakion: 338-400 (104.6 - 123.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Accelgor Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Magnezone: 341-403 (121.3 - 143.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Accelgor Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 359-426 (100.5 - 119.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Accelgor OHKOs 4/6 pokemon offhand (although Focus Blast is a bit hit or miss), 5/6 if you include Slowbro after rocks.

Landorus-T @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVS: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off

252+ Atk Landorus-T Stone Edge vs. 168 HP / 0 Def Tornadus: 348-410 (102 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Landorus-T is able to more reliably beat Magnezone and Terrakion with Earthquake (calcs should be unnecessary) as well as being able to take out Tornadus with Stone Edge. U-Turn is also extremely useful on a predicted switch (e.g after switching into Magnezone on a Volt-Switch) to bring in Accelgor safely to KO someone like Slowbro after dealing chip damage.

I realize Accelgor isn't particularly common (read: at all) but w.r.t this particular team it tears a new one through it with even just a tiny bit of support.

To promote some activity in the thread,

+

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Even though it is extremely out of favour, I find that this team has a lot of Pokemon that gives Mega Sableye turns to set up Calm Mind such as Tangrowth, AV Torn-T, Scarf Magnezone and Mega Slowbro. Meanwhile, Banded Terrakion and SD Garchomp fear a burn from Will-O-Wisp, making Mega Sableye a headache for the team. Quagsire is added to the core because it is able to take Stone Edge from Terrakion and ignore any boosts from Garchomp. It also baits Banded Close Combat or a Tangrowth switch-in, both of which allow you to set-up with Mega Sableye.

Alright Everyone I have updated the Hall of Fame with the Results of the last 3 Weeks and as it stands Our Favourite lady in Infernal is still the only one in the 3 nominations Club. However FrozenCold has moved up to the 2 nominations Club and ethanlol, Phantom Me and Soldier have all Gained hall of Fame nominations. Remember anyone who reach's 3 Nomintions gets there own team Broken. Thanks everyone for contributing to this Progect and Archive.

Hall of Fame Tally
4
3 Infernal
2 Little Lucario, Bendiving, cfdba, FrozenCold, Sketch Up
1 Team Pokepals, AM, Docter Ciel, Luaral, Random Passerby , Flygoner818, Bludz, Gamer Boy, Matthewc20090, Ethanlol, Phantom Me, Soldier

AM yeah This team has issue's with fast mons since it lacks a scarfer, T-wave or Prioty. Infact looking at it. Encore Mega Lopunny looks like she would have fun here to.

So with That reserving Mega Lopunny + Genger + Clefable Goon Squad

Soldier and Creator of Chaos to clarify the team itself is from last year when vertex and I put it together. It used scarf kion to offset the teams matchup to offense and spikes scolipede to wear down checks and fatter teams over tangrowth. Vertex then changed it up later for teamshop which is probably where people are grabbing it from for stour. His version lacks good speed control while the original was a more go hard or go home approach. Thats why you see all the checks mentioned being offensive. I havent been paying attention to stour so i wouldnt know what people are using but the tangrowth slot is interchangeable for a spiker and then in need of speed control. Probably why peopld use rock polish kion if thats the case.

Yup, he did mention this in the workshop and said LO + Rocks Terrakion can be used over Band and then Scarf can be used on Garchomp to have a better match-up against Offense. I just didn't change it because it is weird to break a team if you have 2 different versions of it at the same time.

generally the higher ladder tends to use bulkier shit and stall, but back during olt you actually get a better representation of the metagame. scarf terrakion 100% solves these problems, but band terrakion is much more useful if you are using this team on the ladder. scarf > band overall as a tour team to be honest, but wouldn't recommend for tours considering how outdated this team is. and yes, AM made a good point, double dance can work too, but immediate speed is probably needed

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws

Thundurus @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast/ Substitute

At +1 Niggazard X fucks the whole team outside of Mega Slowbro which is where thundy comes in. At +2 Thundy has a good chance to OHKO tangrowth without needing LO and terrakion. +2 Tbolt 2hko's magnezone but if u want it gone instantly it's best to have focus miss. Earthquake can be used on niggazard x if u don't want the recoil from hitting magnezone and to gurantee the kill on terrakion without having to risk the 68.8% chance to OHKO terrakion at +1 adamant. If Zard X manages to get in a situation vs tangrowth it can't put zard x to sleep or stun spore it or both moves miss then u can freely go to +2 since he'll switch to sbro and +1 scald doesn't kill zard x but +2 adamant dclaw has a +2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Dragon Claw vs. 248 HP / 88+ Def Mega Slowbro: 192-226 (48.8 - 57.5%) -- 94.9% chance to 2HKO.

+2 252 SpA Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Tangrowth: 400-472 (99 - 116.8%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
+2 252 SpA Thundurus Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Terrakion: 312-367 (96.5 - 113.6%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

Explanation: This is pretty much a modified version of the Lopunny Goon Squad. Nothing on This Team aside from mega slowbro and Full Health Tangrowth Enjoy's Switching into Mega Lopunny who outspeeds the entire team and Either Kills or 2hkos with her Stabs and if you come in on something weakened or easily Killed such as magnezone there pretty much forced to switch which is where substitute and Encore play out. Tangrowths expecting an easy Sleep powder or Slowbros hoping to calm mind on the predicted switch are Subbed on and then encored making for very easy pickings and by the time she is eliminated LO clef and Specs gar Finish whats left. This team has no true switch in to either aside from Tangrowth who is nailed by Trick and crippled. Slowbro hoping for CM clef gets 2hkoed by T-bolt/Moonblast. Mag and tangrowth gets nailed by flamethrower and Nothing at all likes Shadowball. The team is pretty much destroyed by the 3

Looks like Weavile and Manetric have returned this week. We really need to stop finding teams weak to those 2. Anyway Still looking for a garde team if anyone has a good one so Message myself or Random Passerby if you know of a good one. Otherwise we may scare you all with Cleaner then rotoms stall team or Weavile Stall. Anyway 7 strong cores this week for this otherwise strong team but only 1 Can Top so lets vote

Core 1 - Clefable + Mega Alakazam
Core 2 - Weavile + Mega Manetric
Core 3 - Mega Heracross + Thundorous
Core 4 - Accelgor + Landorous T
Core 5 - Mega Sableye + Quagsire
Core 6 - Charizard X + Thundorous
Core 7 - Mega Lopunny + Clefable + Gengar

As usual, everyone gets 2 Votes (no voting for your own core!) . Voting will end on Monday. Good luck and have fun!!! Oh yeah, whoever reaches the Hall of Fame 3 times or more gets to have their team broken.
