Chespin can get Curse as an Egg move (Male Torkoal with Shell Smash/Curse 2 fire moves). I was checking for Shell Smash, but Curse is good too (Although worse than Bulk Up).

Then it should be able to from the Chimchar line, which has access to Mach Punch and is in the Field Group, not to mention they are both starters + fighting-types, seems very likely to me.

Prompted by this post, I leveled up a Ledian until it got Mach Punch, then caught a male Smeargle in the friend safari that had sketched Mach Punch. I bred it and a female Chesnaught together. The Chespin egg was born with Tackle and Grol. Chespin does not learn Mach Punch via egg move.

Alright, the original post of this thread is updated. I'm not nearly far enough in the game to the point where I have many of the TMs or HMs. As a result, all I could do was add Chesnaught / Quilladin TM Learnsets to the OP without their numbers. If someone could get me those numbers at some point, that'd be peachy keen.

As a side note, please stop spamming this thread with non-research posts. Take it somewhere else; no one cares about how enraged you are that Chesnaught doesn't get Shell Smash.

Chesnaught can learn Grass Pledge through an npc in Laverre City. House on the right beside the Pokemon Gym, middle male npc in dark green shirt.

Condition is it has to be a Pokemon from a Pokemon Professor and have a strong bond. Blastoise and Blaziken(Event Torchic) in my party is also qualified. Tyrantum is not qualified. I guess that means all starters are qualified.

Thanks Ivysaurtrainer I'll help when I have a Chespin with bulletproof, I can report that Chespin does not learn Horn Leach,Leaf blade as an egg move. Just tried with Gogoat, well It appear that GF just hate the grass starter, Chesnaught doesn't learn any useful fighting move, I'll test the elemental punches later.
