Haxorus

Haxorus
HP:76
Attack:147
Defense:90
Sp.Attack:60
Sp.Defense:70
Speed:97

Notable Traits: Haxorus is simply a overkill! Having the solid Dragon type as its only type makes it boast only 2 weaknesses and 4 Resistance.
Plus it attack is massive. Having the highest attack of all non-legendary dragon types. It speeds may seem lackluster but thank fully it gets access to Dragon Dance raising it superb Attack and decent speed.

Singles Set
Haxorus@Choice Band/life orb
252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP
Nature: Jolly/ Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
- Outrage/Dual Chop
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Brick Break

- Is a great wall breaker and can sweep right through tanks.
- Most things will take immense damage from all of Haxorus neutral moves, but still leave a dent to some if they took them resisted.
- Has fairly decent defense options.
- Is able to hit levitating Pokemon with Earthquake.
- Opponent less likely to switch out.
-Decent and workable speed

Other Options:
Haxorus is able to fill in some other options well. Since he has option Dragon Dance this can really make up for his speed. It is also not very common but incorporating a Focus Sash with Haxorus. This can guarantee a Dragon Dance set up. You may also consider switching this with life orb to have adaptability to your foe and be able to switch moves. Dual chop can also be used which is effective against one of its main counters;Focus Sash Cloyster(to break focus band) and Garchomp(to break substitute).

Haban Berry can be used to add a more defensive measure to Haxours. This will give it a option to keep fighting by surviving a non-boosted dragon pulse from Kingdra and Latios.

good battle star i like it but it would be better if you had more choices with only one set and only one item it is really lemited and try adding life orb or leftovers and it would be better to add a choice scarf so it goes first and kills them right away

Choice Scarf Dual Chop is incredibly useful in singles, with the ability to take Garchomp out even behind Chomp's Substitute. In addition, X-Scissor has no notable coverage, while Dragon Claw gives Haxorus a STAB attack that doesn't lock it in, unlike Outrage. Brick Break, however, 2HKOes Ferrothorn, and is probably more useful than Rock Slide, which doesn't have any coverage that STAB Outrage doesn't.

In addition, I've found the following set quite useful in doubles and triples:
Haxorus@Life Orb / Haban Berry
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly / Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide / Dragon Dance
- Protect
It hits incredibly hard and has two excellent spread attacks in Rock Slide and Earthquake. Life Orb allows it to OHKO most frailer Pokemon with Dragon Claw, but Haban Berry lets it live Kingdra's and Latios's Dragon Pulse most of the time (it has about a 75% chance to survive Latios's Life Orb Dragon Pulse). Dragon Dance is an option over Rock Slide since Rock Slide doesn't give much additional coverage, and it allows Haxorus to outspeed most of the things that trouble it, such as Weavile, Latios, and Garchomp, and deliver a swift OHKO. If not using Dragon Dance, or if using Swords Dance over Dragon Dance, Haxorus really appreciates Tailwind support, or perhaps Trick Room if it runs minimum Speed, as it otherwise has far too many checks to be useful as opposed to Garchomp.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Also that set is quite useful.

I also use another set like this

Haxorus@Life Orb / Focus Sash
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly / Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Dance

This way if focus sash is used you get a free DD.

However i will incorporate the Haban set in "other options"

No, the set I suggested is meant to be used in GBU doubles play, not singles. Haban is rather gimmicky and not really worth it in singles unless you really care about Choice Scarf Latios.

Haxorus @ Lum Berry
Adamant
Evs: 252 Att/252 Sp
Moveset:
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-Dual Chop/X-scissor/Rockslide

Dual chop is used for dragon stab without getting locked and breaking subs. Lum let's you get a free ddance up against t-wavers. You can also put some evs in hp if you'd like utilize his bulk

Lum Berry can be useful situationally, but it's used the same way as any other item, so I don't think it's really a separate set.

Yeah, your right lum berry is not very good.
I at least mentioned Haban berry becasue it can really make a defensive poke out of him.

Haxorus has terrible defenses, especially on the special side, so Haban, while always useful, isn't meant to make it defensive, because even with significant EV investment Haxorus struggles to take even neutral STAB attacks without losing a significant amount of health. However, Haban is useful offensively against other Dragon-types such as Hydreigon, the Latis, and Garchomp, allowing Haxorus to survive any Dragon Pulse or Dragon Claw (it needs 68 HP EVs or 36 SpD to take Latios's Life Orb Dragon Pulse, and 148 SpD EVs to almost always survive Scarfed Latios's Draco Meteor), allowing Haxorus to unexpectedly take a Dragon-type attack and retaliate back with an OHKO on most of the common Dragon-types. It's useful more as a lure for these Pokemon, or just to help Haxorus break through its usual counters, but it's not a way to make Haxorus defensive; that's almost impossible thanks to its subpar stats.
