Horseback Riding

I saw no ho

rseback riding thread and thought that the situation had to be fixed.

So any other horseback riders here? Western or English? Own, lease, or take lessons? Favorite horse description? :).

Also, if all you have to say is "Riding isn't a sport!" or some such thing kindly save your breath.

I ride English, but I rode Western for about four years.

There's no such sport as 'horse-back riding', I think you'll find it's called horse riding, and besides (stolen from Michael McIntyre but who cares) you're not going to be clinging on to the underneath of the horse, or sitting on its neck, are you? It is clearly obvious where you are supposed to ride horses, so no need to put it into the name of the sport. And, before any of you sick twisted freaks come and rant at me saying, 'but horse riding sounds dirty', no it does not.

I sometimes ride horses on trails. Well the trails are not that hard but i still ride on them.
