[LCT R1] Glacier Knight vs Fluffiator

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another exciting tournament! Little Cup matches are well known for being rushed, flavorless run throughs to get to the exciting Full Evolved matches. That's not the case for this tournament, where the contestants have to use their knowledge to use the weakest Pokemon to their advantage! Let's look at the rules for this matchup shall we?

3v3 Singles
ASB Arena
Strict 72h Disqualification. One warning per player. After the warning is used (any tag after DQ interval is passed will be counted as warning), the Player has one hour to post (with full orders/pokemon, just saying "orders coming watch this space" doesn't suffice) after DQ is called to rescind it. If one hour passes, the player is DQ'd regardless of the ref posting or not. User calling DQ must tag DQ'd player. Referees please tag the combatants when you have finished your reffing. Players, if you know you're going to be away you better post a Leave of Absence BEFORE you leave, or give a very good reason in case of an emergency.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON
Sendout = coinflip
In the blue and very very cold corner, we have...Glacier Knight? I thought he vanished a while ago? And is it just me or is he glowing in an ominous aura? Eh, it's probably just my imagination. Either way, Glacier is known for being a person high on flavor and reffings. He even reffed ASB's largest match, the Ultimate Showdown for two rounds before he suffered a mental breakdown. Jokes aside, I think he will do well this match!

Team Glacier Knight:

Ooraloo the Misdreavus [F]

Nature: Timid (+15% Speed and +22% Acc, -1 Attack)

Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.

If Skill Swapped, the swapped Pokemon's Attack and Base Rank Total is only raised by one Rank.

In the red corner is Fluffiator! Wait who is this chap again? Oh, he joined a couple months ago? Okay. He's a relatively new player on the scene, but that does mean he's had a fair bit of experience taking Little Cup matches seriously. I think he'll put up a good fight!

"This will prove to be quite an interesting battle... I was expecting Axew and Squirtle over Eevee and Machop honestly, but perhaps you have a crafty plan up your sleeve? Show me what you can do! I will give it my all, and expect you to do the same! It's time for an exhilarating battle-"

"Are you up for the challenge?"

Round 1

Welcome everybody to the first exciting round of this matchup! Glacier Knight starts off by sending out Birkal the Meditite, and opponent who seems dreadfully powerful in this tournament. Fluffiator responds by sending out...Machiator the Machop? Seems like a rather odd matchup versus a Psychic type but let's see if he has a plan here!

Things start off not great for Machiator, as he puts up a Protective barrier to dodge any incoming attacks. However, Birkal is well prepared for this, and strikes Machiator with a series of Feinting afterimages that even the barrier cannot stand against! Thanks to Birkal's ridiculous Attack stat, it does a good chunk of damage too.

Before the Machop can recover from that attack, Birkal sends himself forwards after his last afterimage delivering a devastating Zen Headbutt. It does astounding damage to Machiator, and sends him careening into the arena wall! Machiator, wanting to shield himself from further attacks, opts to Bulk Up, his muscles tightening to provide offense and defense.

Birkal follows up with another Zen Headbutt, however Machiator is prepared for it this time, and punches Birkal square in the cranium! Ouch, that Dynamic Punch has got to have hurt, and it shows, Birkal is confused quite badly. Still, despite Machiator's earlier bulk up, the headbutt did a lot of damage to him.

Overall, it seems Glacier has put an astounding lead on Fluffiator, delivering massive damage while taking almost none himself. However, Fluffiator does have a chance of regaining some momentum, as Glacier has to order first, and has a chance of hitting himself. Can Fluffiator get past this uphill battle? Find out next round!

==========================
Round 2:

Welcome back folks! Last round we saw Glacier obtain a slight lead, but Fluffiator isn't out of this yet. Glacier, rather than take the chance of wasting actions to confusion, switches to Ooraloo the Misdreavus. Fluffiator counter-switches to Buzziator in response. This matchup is looking relatively even, but they both look really strong.

Ooraloo starts the battle by...flipping the bird at Buzziator? Not sure how it's doing that given it has no arms, but somehow the Taunt is working. Buzziator attempts to start by placing itself under a Curse. Unfortunately for him, he's too riled up at Ooraloo to even think straight. Surely he's going to go on the offensive now.

Or maybe not. Ooraloo shoots ghostly flames at Buzziator, landing right on the arms giving out nasty burns. Buzziator...attempts to follow it's master's orders and set up clones of itself. However, it soon realizes that this is not going to work, and desperately charges Ooraloo. The burns from the Will-o-Wisp ensure that this does very little damage, but Buzziator takes damage from recoil and burns.

Finally, Ooraloo decides to go on the offensive, casting a nasty spell on Buzziator! Suddenly a black void appears, and a fiendish eye pops out, scaring Buzziator extremely, especially thanks to those burns. In fact, it takes Buzziator by such surprise that it scores a critical, dealing massive damage. Buzziator, in an instant, tries to tackle the eye in a desperate attempt to get it to go away, but it disappears and hits Ooraloo instead. It still does not do much damage.

Glacier comes out of this round with an even stronger lead, having dealt massive damage to Buzziator while taking pittiance in return. Is it too late for Fluffiator now? Stay tuned to find out!

Not quite Glacier Knight. This constitutes Fluffiator's one DQ warning. the DQ interval resets as of your post but now any further time DQ is passed then the 1 hour rule you described is in effect.
