Chakra that's cool but you're losing out on Leftovers, which is pretty important on a Pokemon that has Protect and wants to switch out after Wishing, and you're also missing out on Knock Off / Toxic. I think it's generally better to just use Knock Off on the Venusaur switchin to make it do significantly less damage. Then again I'd probably get lured p hard by this set soooo it could work out well
Take an Azelfie, Venusaur wouldn't be my first switchin to Virizion as Zen Headbutt is pretty standard these days.
MrAldo that's a pretty cool lure tbh, but I worry it'd be too useless vs any team that has a Mega Steelix unless you have a ton of Pokemon that can wear down Mega Steelix or Magnet Rise HP Fire Magneton.
Venusaur in general is a really hard Pokemon to lure, and I'm not sure how worth luring it is considering it doesn't actually stop many offensive Pokemon; it's more of a threat to defensive Pokemon like bulky Waters and Diancie. Still, if you want to lure it, I guess this would work (stolen from lord death man tbh)
Rotom-Mow @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Will-O-Wisp / Thunderbolt
Venusaur may come in thinking it's a safe switchin to choiced Rotom-Mow, but then it gets mowed down by a LO Hidden Power Flying and 2HKO'd with very little prior damage / good rolls. Hidden Power Flying also hits other Grass-types, specifically Virizion.
252 SpA Life Orb Rotom-C Hidden Power Flying vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Venusaur: 146-174 (48.5 - 57.8%) -- 94.5% chance to 2HKO
