Now, I was originally gonna just put HP ice on something and call it good, but I wanted something a little more... Heat.

Aggron @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Polish
- Ice Punch

So, is this what the cool kids are using nowdays? Shuca+RP+Ice punch Aggron is where it's at. Pretty simple execution. Flygon goes for the EQ, you use RP to outspeed and KO with ice punch. And then you get blocked by Mlix.

252+ Atk Aggron Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 116 Def Flygon: 340-400 (93.4 - 109.8%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

0 Atk Flygon Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Shuca Berry Aggron: 132-156 (46.9 - 55.5%) -- 62.5% chance to 2HKO

Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sludge Wave
- Stone Edge

252 SpA Life Orb Dugtrio Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 116+ SpD Flygon: 182-218 (50 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

some of the easiest luring i've did in my life. also 2hkos tangrowth and megalix, and ohkos tyrantrum 100%.

How is Dugtrio a lure for Flygon? Dugtrio is trapping Pokemon most of the time and so Flygon's not switching into it. Therefore it must try to revenge kill the Flygon and acts as a poor revenge killer, as it cannot even come close to KOing the Flygon, as Flygon can Roost off the damage. Flygon's Earthquake will do around 70% to Dugtrio, making it a poor lure. In fact, Flygon can just Roost off the HP Ice and let Dugtrio lose to recoil since it has a very low chance of beating Flygon 1v1.

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 248 HP / 28 Atk / 232 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Ice Punch

28+ Atk Rhyperior Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 116 Def Flygon: 340-404 (93.4 - 110.9%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Ice punch has an almost 100 percent chance to OHKO flygon around rocks with ice punch, can take earthquakes very well with solid rock + natural bulk.

Sigilyph @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Ice Beam
Ice Beam Sigilyph can OHKO Flygon...

252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 116+ SpD Flygon: 416-494 (114.2 - 135.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 116+ SpD Flygon: 416-494 (114.2 - 135.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
But how is it a lure? Flygon does not really beat Sigilyph naturally without you running Ice Beam.

@ Black Sludge
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 Spe
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Scald
- Ice Beam

Ice Beam Qwil can easily lure Flygon, which switches on Qwil thinking to be able to remove easily the hazards, although it needs some residual damage before 2HKOing (it does 42.8-50.5 %)

Drapion @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

Joey actually used this set in week 2 of spl vs galbia, and while it didn't get to shine that game it has some nice potential as a flygon lure. With shuca berry you can survive any ground attack and then KO back with ice fang. You would generally sd on the switch, meaning now if the set plays as intended you'll have beaten one of their primary drapion checks while still heavily threatening the opponent with a +2 drap. You can also catch the gonners on the switch if you prefer, however. The set loses out on pjab meaning you miss fairies, hitting grasses harder, and general neutral stab, but its not too horrible and well worth it if you can bop that flygon. ^_^

FlamingVictini wins the round via voting. Other winners are fran17 and Chakra
Here's the threat for this week:

Durant @ Life Orb
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- X-Scissor
- Thunder Fang

Try to be a bit creative other than add HP Fire to random stuffs please

Deadline is on 7th April

Sneasel @ Watmel Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Natural Gift
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Ice Shard

Life orb Durant users will naturally stay in on Sneasel as both of it's stab is super effective against it, or they may fear pursuit. The strongest move Sneasel can go for is knock off, which even with life orb does around 60, it's other moves icicle crash, low kick and ice shard do a very low amount. Sneasel naturally outspeeds Durant and can lure it with Natural Gift fire which is a guaranteed OHKO. I ran ice punch, because natural gift is incompatible with icicle crash. This also hits escav for a guaranteed ohko.

252 Atk Watmel Berry Sneasel Natural Gift (100 BP Fire) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Durant: 320-380 (124.5 - 147.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Granbull @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Fire Punch
- Heal Bell
- Roar

Got a legit lure this time, defensive Granbull usually can't do much to Durant besides wittle it with EQ, but with Fire Punch, you OHKO it with a layer of Spike or Rocks, or after 1 round of recoil. Thunder Wave, while also an option, kinda screws you over if Durant is Sub or Lum, so Fire Punch is a more surefire way of taking out Durant. Plus helps you against Escavalier and Venusaur too.
i guess you could run flamethrower/fire blast but meeeh

Glalie-Mega @ Glalitite
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Hidden Power [Fire]

- Freeze-Dry
- Double-Edge
- Ice Shard
HP Fire Glalie was better before, but now that Abomasnow-Mega is banned, Glalie can hurt only Escavalier and Durant.

Mesprit @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fire Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Healing Wish / Knock Off / Ice Punch / Trick

Usually Durant can switch into almost every Mesprit set and force a switch because of bug weakness, a physical scarf set with Fire Punch can catch him off guard and has a nice chance to OHKO it, I prefer Jolly nature cause it outspeeds things like +1 Jolly Tyrantrum, Scarf Hoopa, Aerodactyl, Jolteon and ties with Scarf Medicham, but if you feel more comfortable an Adamant nature ensures a clear OHKO

252 Atk Mesprit Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Durant: 256-304 (99.6 - 118.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Mesprit Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Durant: 280-332 (108.9 - 129.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
