Notes
Splintered Stormshards: After obtaining Z-Power, the user, Lycanroc, attacks the target with full force. This move negates the effect on the battlefield. Rock / Physical / 190 Power / 1 PP (Z-Move, uses Sttone Edge base move)
It seems Lycanroc-Dusk has been super slept on with the reveal of new Pokemon and its practically unchanged stats from Miday. However, with the combination of a new ability in tough claws, new move in Drill Run and an exclusive Z-move of Splintered Stormshards, this mon can tear apart Ou at +2, as there is a lack of a good Rock Resist. However theres always a down side, and that comes in the form of its awfuly 75/65/65 defences, making it very hard to set up and SD, and although access to a strong priority, many resist it and can easily revenge kill. It also finds itself in the quite crowded base 110 speed tier, so speed ties may have to be won.

Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

- Stone Edge
- Drill Run / Fire Fang
- Fire Fang / Accelerock
I went with Rock Fire Ground coverage to be able to hit everything that resists rock damage for Super Effective damage in return for the most part, making it super hard to switch into when at +2 and a huge threat to slower teams, if Accelerock is ran, I feel Fire Fang is better than Drill Run, as it nails Ferrothorn and Kartana in particular, and Fire Fang hits all other Steels SE (bar Heatran, tho it take a million from Edge).
+2 Splintered Stormshards is not to be underesimated in the slightest, picking up ohkos on the tiers bulkiest threats

I imagine this thing to be UU perhaps, so outside an SD Wallbreaker/Sweeper set in working in OU or UU, I thought a Choice Band set could also be very effective, though face competition with Terrakion but having Accelerock as a great niche, Ohkoing 5 out the 10 things currently faster than it (w/o Scarf and excluding Duggy). With the addition of Tough Claws, Accelerock, Drill Run and Fire Fang are boosted significantly, and with a Choice Band atop that, the immediate damage is quite scary. Tough Claws boosts Accelerock to a 52 Bp move, Fire Fang to 84Bp and Drill Run to 104bp. However bulky Ground types such as Swampert And Hippowdon cause a lot of trouble for it. Fire Fang is specifically there to hit Forretress, so Crunch can be ran to hit Celebi and other Psychics harder and act as good nuetral coverage, and Return as even better neutral coverage.

I underestimated this thing. The fact it gets Drill Run means it has a Ground type attack that is stronger than Earthquake thanks to Tough Claws, and it has near-perfect accuracy of 95% on top of that. Lycanroc's been wanting a move like this since it came out.
Having a one-time 292.5 BP (after STAB) nuke is pretty damn good, especially since it's rock, which has fairly decent neutral coverage all around.
With Tough Claws-boosted Drill Run, it's got everything it needs to be a decent - if straightforward - sweeper. Maybe probably not in OU, but in a lower tier (honestly have no experience with them so I'm not sure where it'll land).
That said, it could be decent on like... Sticky Web if that becomes a thing again (Which, with defog literally the most common move in the universe now... eh). It's fast enough that it'll outspeed every webbed scarfer bar Latios (speed tie, rip 112:/) and Gren, and there isn't a whole lot of defensive counterplay to it at +2 besides like Quagsire. I think Unaware Clef can get bopped by Splintered Stormshards into Stone Edge.
The main question I think will be Fire Fang vs Accelerock. Fire Fang is actually pretty powerful with Tough Claws and provides pretty great coverage in tandem with stone edge and drill run, while Accelerock has obvious uses as a really great priority move.
Another (more gimmicky) set it could run is SashCounter a la Alakazam, with the added benefit of Accelerock for Mega-Pinsir, Volc, and anything else weak to rock.
Idk theorymonning pretty hard here. I like the mon's design a lot, but pure rock and 110 speed sucks.
110 is still pretty good. Unfortunately, there's some relevant mons in OU that outpace it, such as the Grens, Koko, Naganadel, Mega Lopunny and Hawlucha even without terrain, as well as the four mons it has to speed tie with, which are (Mega) Latios, Gengar, Mega Diancie, and Mega Latias. In the grand scheme of things, that's not that many Pokemon in the tier, and it outpaces a ton, like Kartana, the Zards, unboosted Volc, Lando, ect.
In case Mega Pinsir and Volcarona get more popular with the new Defog support, this thing's Tough Claws boosted Accelerock is certainly handy. Non-Scarf Volcarona revenge killer is useful.
Cant think of any other reasons to use this though.
That’s a major loss of power for relevant stuff like Lando, Zapdos, and basically any other (fairly bulky) mon that doesn’t take SE damage from Fire Fang/Drill Run.
A move to consider for Lycanroc-Dusk is Stomping Tantrum. Although it is slightly weaker than Drill Run(a ~3% damage difference in rolls, depending who you are facing), it is however 100% accurate. The thing that makes Stomping Tantrum interesting though, is that its power is doubled when a move is missed in the turn before. Although very situational, this can be exploited in real game scenarios, for example Stone Edge missing against a defensive switch in, such as Mega Steelix(taking a RU mon as an example since I don't think Lycanroc is going any higher), which is then going to be hit by a Tough Claws boosted 150 BP Ground move.
Well Serebii needs to update. Either way not bad for a priority move. Will probably get a niche in various formats depending on how much taking out Rock Weak Pokemon is valued.
So finally Lycanroc-Dusk is breedable (unlile our previous Ash-Greninja). We don't even know if its Z-move can remove Entry Hazards but it's definitely UU material.
