LTM: symphonii vs Demontamer - I know neither of you, so you're both winners, congrats
Lost due to a bit of bad choking on my part. Gg.

I'll do better next week :(
This is awkward :/ apparently we both forgot to save the replay smh
Is it okay if we do a bo3 instead?
Edit: we went ahead and played two more battles, both of which I won. We even ended up using the same teams all three battles. Sorry for all the confusion.

TFW you predict both players to win and it happens... Time to buy a lotto ticket.

That is not how a forum tournament, more specifically BLT, works. Despite both of you playing those battles, they are null and void, for any and all reasons. The only confusion that arose from this is on your part. There are no "make-up" battles in a tourney, much less if the reason is you forgot to save a replay. Replays are not the only things that justify whether or not a player won a battle. Admitting loss on your own is tantamount to valid proof.

Despite all of this, there may remain reservations. It can be argued that repeating battles with the same team essentially is valid for a different result; but this is never the case. The variables that differ between the original and make-up matches differ immensely: battle strategies, team knowledge, RNG; these all affect the outcome.

Before you go ahead and make up your own decisions (for both parties), make sure that the tournament host or at least your managers are aware of the situation, and they also give you a GO signal.

This isn't an aggressive post, rather it is an informative one. And it doesn't just apply to this situation, so hopefully this confusion doesn't occur in the future.

TL;DR: Don't do jack unless you're given the signal to. Nevertheless, have fun!

We just thought that it wouldn't hurt to do two more battles, so whether the host decides that the first one is fine or if bo3 is allowed on consent of both players, we wouldn't have to wait for the results. Any decision is ok with me.

You have to qualify to be drafted by doing well in certain tournaments hosted in the Monotype room on PS. Unfortunately the qualifying period and the draft are both complete already, so no more participants can join this particular tour. But we're glad that you're interested! Keep an eye out for other monotype tournaments. Just be sure to read the rules of a tour before signing up in the future :toast:

can u actually sub in this late when the deadline is tommorow? if the battle doesn't get done, I think the activity win should be in our favor
I think this is 6ti's decision. But considering this is the 1st round and some players may have disappeared after the draft, i think subbing should be possible. Activity decisions should definitely go in favor of the team that didnt sub though.

Because of the late subs, i'll give a 2 day extension to the matches that required people to be subbed out.
