IT (Blacephalon) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Beast Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- Trick
- Knock Off
super fire on offense, i use it with msciz/washtom/koko to help get it in, most teams dont have a ghost resist so shadow ball spam is easy pickings.
252 SpA Choice Specs Blacephalon Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Chansey: 286-337 (40.6 - 47.9%) -- 64.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
^ if you can bait in chansey and knock it, you can potentially 2hko with rocks (i stole this calc, idk from who, but very neat)

Weavile will pursuit trap you and you will die, simple as that. you gotta be careful with your shadow ball spamming as Weav can come in on a shadow ball and immediately eliminate you, but if your opponent messes up you can hit a Weav on the switch with a fire blast and be freed from the terror. this problem cannot be glossed over as Weav is one of the most popular mons in the tier and is one of the main reasons ghosts aren't good.
RIP PULT
THREATS
Similar to Weav, TTar can also pursuit trap and eliminate you. However, with proper pressure from teammates such as Koko, Blace & friends can manage to overwhelm it.
Blissey doesnt rely on Eviolite to check you, so your fire blasts won't do anything, however, if combined with rocks and a volt-turn core that forces in bliss (ie: washtom/koko) you can chip blissey to the point where it fears switching in.
PARTNERS:
washtom provides defog support which is much appreciated for blace's rock weakness. mainly, rotom wash can provide opportunities for blace to get in on mons such as mega scizor, clef, av lele, zapdos, serp, rilla, and ferro who can neutrally take its STAB combo.
Personally, I used a team with specs Koko (linked below) to mutually pressure things that could halt Blace's sweep like Heatran, Zapdos, and Wash-Tom, it creates a dangerous cycle that can mutually damage shared checks until one is in a position to clean.
MSciz/Wash-Tom is a tried and true core for offensive teams that can check many things that threaten to revenge Blace such as scarf Lele, MLop, and scarf Kart. it also abuses U-Turn, further assisting Blace in getting on the field.
MLop is another U-Turn abuser that can fit with Blace and threatens switches on almost every single Blace switch-in or revenger. MLop also greatly appreciates the pressure put onto mons such as Gliscor/Lando/Toxapex that would otherwise happily to switch into MLop.
STRUCTURE:
Blace appreciates offensive and defensive pivots alike that can get it onto the field. Specs Blace is a very threatening breaker as well as a cleaner that can assist on offensive structures that may struggle breaking fat/stall cores.
In addition, rocks are GREATLY appreciated as blace can come up short of kills at +1 when trying to sweep vs neutral targets at times
