We normally never do exceptions for the CT but I'll make an exception for you because of the reasons you provided and the fact that you had no posts prior to the name change.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd prefer my username be changed to DEMcKnight (or DEMc♞, on the off-chance that Smogon supports Unicode characters, which I suspect it does not). You need to be a badgeholder to get previously taken names. Also, the ct is not optional.
