[OVERVIEW]

Nidoking is a very scary wallbreaker in the OU metagame thanks to its huge offensive movepool, as well as Sheer Force bolstering its power even further. Its Poison / Ground typing allows it to function as a very solid Clefable switch-in, and thus it has a great matchup against balanced teams that use Clefable. However, despite being able to easily beat one of the biggest threats in the metagame, Nidoking has its fair share of flaws that prevent it from being a top-tier threat. Nidoking's Speed leaves it outpaced by the majority of offensive threats, though it outspeeds Pokemon like Mega Altaria, Gardevoir prior to Mega Evolution, Hoopa-U, and Heatran. Nidoking also lacks bulk, leaving it vulnerable to faster attackers and priority users. Furthermore, it faces strong competition from other wallbreakers such as Manaphy, Gengar, Alakazam, Hoopa-U, and Kyurem-B because they are either faster, stronger, or bulkier.

Moves

Earth Power is Nidoking's most spammable STAB move and hits Pokemon like Heatran, Magnezone, Bisharp, and Metagross before it Mega Evolves. Sludge Wave is slightly more powerful and hits Fairy-types such as Clefable, Mega Altaria, Gardevoir before it Mega Evolves, and Sylveon. It also hits Grass-types such as Breloom and has great coverage alongside Earth Power. Ice Beam allows Nidoking to OHKO Garchomp, Gliscor, and Landorus-T and 2HKO Hippowdon. Flamethrower hits Steel-types such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Flamethrower is powerful enough that Fire Blast isn't recommended. Sucker Punch can be used to OHKO Mega Alakazam after prior damage and Gengar with no prior damage and helps pick off weakened Pokemon like Latios and Latias. Sucker Punch should be run over Flamethrower, as Earth Power already deals huge damage to Flamethrower's targets outside of Skarmory.

Set Details
========

Maximum Special Attack investment maximizes Nidoking's damage output, while maximum Speed investment allows Nidoking to Speed tie with Heracross and outspeed the likes of bulky Garchomp, Heatran, Mega Altaria, Gardevoir before it Mega Evolves, and Adamant Excadrill. Life Orb along with Sheer Force boosts Nidoking's power to incredible levels. Sheer Force also negates Life Orb recoil on attacks with secondary effects, giving Nidoking more longevity than other wallbreakers. If running Sucker Punch, a Naive nature with 16 Attack EVs should be run to guarantee the OHKO on Mega Alakazam with Stealth Rock on the field.

Usage Tips
========

Because Nidoking lacks bulk, it struggles to switch into a lot of Pokemon easily and appreciates free switches provided by Volt Switch or U-turn support and double switches. However, Nidoking can easily switch into Clefable and pressure its team immensely, which is Nidoking's main advantage over other wallbreakers. When Nidoking is on the field against slower teams, just use the appropriate coverage move, and against faster teams, use the appropriate coverage move to hit faster Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Mega Metagross, Latios, and Gengar that can switch into at least one of Nidoking's STAB moves when they switch in.

Team Options
========

Because Nidoking struggles to switch into a lot of threats, it appreciates having Volt Switch or U-turn support. Defensive Landorus-T is immune to the Ground-type moves that threaten Nidoking and helps with Nidoking's bad matchup against sand teams, while Nidoking is capable of breaking a lot of Pokemon that check it such as Ferrothorn, Garchomp, and bulky Water-types in general. Tornadus-T is capable of checking fast Water- and Grass-types such as Keldeo and Serperior. Raikou can help check faster Electric-types such as Mega Manectric, Thundurus, and opposing Raikou, as they all deal heavy damage to Nidoking with Hidden Power Ice. Raikou also helps check the likes of Gengar if Nidoking lacks Sucker Punch, as well as checking Keldeo and Talonflame. Klefki and Ferrothorn are capable of using Spikes to capitalize on Nidoking's wallbreaking ability and Thunder Wave to provide speed control and slow down faster Pokemon, allowing Nidoking to pick them off more easily. Klefki is notable for its ability to switch into Weavile and force it out. Though it lacks Spikes, Clefable can spread paralysis too, and it can pressure teams with the threat of a Calm Mind sweep thanks to Nidoking's ability to remove Steel-types for it Tank Garchomp punishes powerful priority moves and helps weaken Pokemon by phazing them with Dragon Tail. Latias can switch into Electric-types and Keldeo and can provide Healing Wish support, which helps Nidoking if it gets worn down too quickly.

Mega Lopunny, Mega Alakazam, Mega Manectric, Bisharp, and Weavile are all capable of pressuring offensive teams, which Nidoking doesn't have a decent matchup against, while Nidoking helps break bulkier Pokemon for said sweepers. Mega Manectric forces a lot of switches and provides Volt Switch support for Nidoking, while Nidoking can weaken Hippowdon, a notable counter to Mega Manectric. Mega Alakazam is also notable for its ability to handle weather teams with Trace. Pokemon weak to Clefable such as Latios appreciate having Clefable weakened so that it can be picked off easily. Substitute + Swords Dance Garchomp appreciates having Unaware Clefable weakened and Togekiss removed because they are both capable of walling it. Mega Scizor and Talonflame appreciate bulky Ground-types being weakened, while Nidoking appreciates their good matchups against offensive teams. Pokemon like Azumarill and Breloom are also good teammates for their ability to OHKO Excadrill and beat Hippowdon. Pokemon like Talonflame, Azumarill, Klefki, Ferrothorn, and Bisharp have great matchups against rain teams, which trouble Nidoking heavily. Fighting-types such as Terrakion, Keldeo, and Breloom are all capable of breaking Chansey, which walls Nidoking completely. Fairy- and Dark-types such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Altaria, Clefable, Bisharp, and Weavile are capable of handling bulky Dragon-types that can wall Nidoking such as Mega Latias.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Nidoking has access to Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes, but it would rather run an extra coverage move. It also faces strong competition as a Toxic Spiker from Dragalge and Scolipede. Nidoking can run Choice Scarf in order to improve its matchup against offensive teams, but it loses out on too much power and thus can't wallbreak effectively. Nidoking can run Superpower to deal extra damage to Chansey and Air Balloon Heatran, but this usually requires a lot more Attack investment.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Weavile, Tornadus-T, Mega Lopunny, Mega Manectric, Raikou, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, Excadrill, Keldeo, Manaphy, and Mega Metagross are all capable of outspeeding Nidoking and dealing massive damage to it, if not outright OHKOing it.

**Priority Attackers**: Priority moves from the likes of Azumarill, Scizor, Weavile, Bisharp, and Talonflame are all capable of dealing massive to Nidoking, which can make it even easier to revenge kill.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon such as Chansey and Mega Latias are capable of easily walling Nidoking because of their high Special Defense and access to recovery.

**Psychic-types**: Psychic-types such as Alakazam, Mega Metagross, Mega Medicham, Latios, Latias, and Mega Gallade are all capable of outspeeding and OHKOing Nidoking, but Alakazam is OHKOed by Sucker Punch. Hoopa-U, while slower, is capable of taking any of Nidoking's moves and OHKOes it back. Even though the aforementioned Pokemon are all capable of OHKOing Nidoking, they all have difficulty switching in outside of Latias.

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Keldeo, Manaphy, and Starmie are all capable of outspeeding and OHKOing Nidoking, while Choice Band Azumarill can OHKO it with Aqua Jet. Politoed and Slowking can also take a few hits from Nidoking and proceed to OHKO it.

Why do you mention sucker in the overview only to give it a set-details-only? You should probably remove it from the overview. Also, mention Balloon Tran as a target for Superpower.

I'd defenitely mention Skarmory specifically as a target for Flamethrower since it's immune to both of Nidoking's STABs and SpD sets aren't 2HKOed by Ice Beam. Mention Gliscor and SpD Hippowdon as Ice Beam targets as well. Also, mention weakened Latios and Latias as Sucker Punch targets since they can switch into Earth Power or even Sludge Wave and force Nidoking out otherwise, obviously it doesn't OHKO them from full but there 2 aren't exactly hard to weaken to around 65% anyway. Maybe mention that Sucker Punch is useful for chipping away at (severely) weakened faster attackers in general, and not just Psychic types.

Not sure I would slash Sucker Punch, but I would mention that it should probably be run over Flamethrower as opposed to Ice Beam : with the expection of Skarmory, all Flamethrower targets take a ton of damage from Earth Power, so it isn't as mandatory as Ice Beam which you really need for Lando-T and Gliscor. Oh, and mention that you should run a Naive nature if you're running Sucker Punch or Superpower, kinda obvious but it still needs to be on the analysis.

oh and imo put a big emphasis on blowing apart any Clefable set and Clefable balance in general in usage tips and team details since that's like the #1 selling point of Nidoking.

As far as support options go if you want to get Nidoking in via sacking something, then let me say that Tailwind support goes a LONG way in really improving Nido's effectiveness. Not needing turns to set up, having amazing coverage, and immunity to priority Thunder Wave from Klefki and Thundurus it simply tears through more offensive teams with its coverage while still being as effective as usual against balance. Hydreigon or Swords Dance/Tailwind Charizard-X are good examples.

Overview
In the overview you undersell it's Speed a bit. Yeah it sucks that it's outsped by so many offensive mons, but it still puts it ahead things like Mega Altaria, Mega Gardevoir before it Mega evolves, not mention also letting outspeed the other numerous 80 base speed mons, which is at least decent for a wallbreaker. Also removed the mention of Sucker Punch in the overview because it's only a moves mention. There's no need to make two separate points about its typing either, especially when you say the Ground-typing helps with Clefable when it should be the combination of the two, which can mislead new users. It should be worded into something like this: "Poison / Ground typing lets it act as incredible check to Clefable due to having the rare combination of resisting Fairy and being immune to Thunder Wave".

Moves
It's not big deal right now because this isn't written, but note some important targets that Nidoking's STABs hit. I'm not really a fan of making Superpower a moves mention, when it just limits its coverage and only gives a small chance to beat Chansey (it needs Eviolite removed to guarantee the OHKO). Move it to OO.

Usage Tips
In the first line, it's a bit of stretch to say that Nidoking struggles switching in. I can't emphasize it enough, but there needs to a be a line somewhere mentioning Nidoking's ability to switch in on Clefable and pressure the opposing team with its impressive coverage. Because Superpower is relegated to OO remove the line mentioning it.

Team Options
Mons that struggle with the likes of Clefable should be mentioned here. Latios comes to mind, because it switches in on faster Water-types such as Keldeo and Manaphy (to an extent) that threaten Nidoking. Substitute Swords Dance Garchomp should also get a mention because it appreciates Nidoking's ability to eliminate Unaware Clefable and Togekiss, both of which wall it to no end.

There is no mention of Mega Scizor or Talonflame as teammates, they both like bulky Pokemon being worn down and have priority to pressure faster Pokemon. Both of them like Grounds weakened, and Mega Scizor likes Skarmory being weakened as well.

Just mention in team options its match up is pretty bad against normal weather cores like Hippo + Exca, Poli + Kingdra / everything on rain, etc. and what can be done to remedy it

Mention some relevant partners that break Chansey and Mega Latias. Kind of silly to be a wallbreaker that loses to the most obvious special wall in the tier with no back up plan behind it and something relatively pretty bulky for balance standard in M-Latias.

Just general clean up of team option and OO stuff and 2/3 when that's all set.

Team Options

"Mega Lopunny, Mega Alakazam, Mega Manectric, Bisharp, and Weavile are all capable of pressuring offensive teams heavily."

Guess I'd just like if you could re-word this to state that Nidoking appreciates pokemon (such as these) that put pressure on opposing offense since its best matchup is against bulkier teams. Obvious relationship here of wallbreaker + sweeper kinda thing. More of a personal thought just based on clarity, you covered the actual bases fine here so feel free to pass on this one if you want

Checks and Counters

Add Slowking to either bulky waters or psychics, Politoed to waters (shaky I guess if you need to keep it healthy), Mew to psychics (esp cuz Knock Off)

Hoopa-U can take a hit from full and OHKO back - mons like this that can take a hit and retaliate with an OHKO could potentially be noted like Gyarados and Rotom-Wash.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster ("Faster Pokemon [...] are capable of outspeeding Nidoking" is like... "Black socks are capable of being black", like yeah that's what "faster" means, so I don't think you need this word here) Pokemon such as Weavile, Tornadus-T, Mega Lopunny, Mega Manectric, Raikou, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, Excadrill, Keldeo, Manaphy, and Mega Metagross are all capable of outspeeding Nidoking and dealing massive damage to it, if not outright OHKOing it.

**Priority Attackers**: Priority moves from the likes of Azumarill, Scizor, Weavile, Bisharp, and Talonflame are all capable of dealing massive to Nidoking, which can make it even easier to revenge kill.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon such as Chansey and Mega Latias are both capable of easily walling Nidoking because of their high Special Defense and access to recovery.

[OVERVIEW]

Nidoking is a very scary wallbreaker in the OU metagame thanks to its huge offensive movepool, as well as Sheer Force bolstering its power even further. Its Poison / Ground typing allows it Nidoking to function as a very solid Clefable switch-in, and thus it has a great matchup against balanced teams that use Clefable. However, despite being able to easily beat one of the biggest threats in the metagame, Nidoking has its fair share of flaws that prevent itself it from being a top-tier threat. Nidoking's Speed leaves it outpaced by the majority of offensive threats, but though it outspeeds Pokemon like Mega Altaria, Gardevoir prior to Mega Evolution, Hoopa-U, and Heatran. Nidoking also lacks bulk, leaving it vulnerable to faster attackers and priority users. Nidoking also Furthermore, it (the previous sentence also started with "Nidoking also". if you want to use "Additionally" or some other transition that's fine) faces strong competition from other wallbreakers such as Manaphy, Gengar, Alakazam, Hoopa-U, and Kyurem-B because they are either faster, stronger, or bulkier.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

(AP) Life Orb along with Sheer Force boosts Nidoking's power to incredible levels. Sheer Force also negates Life Orb recoil on attacks with secondary effects, giving Nidoking more longevity than over other wallbreakers. If running Sucker Punch, a Naive nature with 16 Attack EVs should be run to guarantee the OHKO on Mega Alakazam with Stealth Rock on the field.

Usage Tips
========

Because Nidoking lacks bulk, it struggles to switch into a lot of Pokemon easily and appreciates free switches provided by Volt Switch or U-turn support and double switches. However, Nidoking can easily switch into Clefable and pressure its Clefable's team immensely, which is Nidoking's main advantage over other wallbreakers.

========

Raikou also helps check the likes of Gengar if Nidoking lacks Sucker Punch, as well as checking Keldeo, (RC) and Talonflame. (at a glance it looked like Nidoking also lacks Keldeo and Talonflame, hence the edit) Klefki and Ferrothorn are capable of using Spikes to capitalize on Nidoking's wallbreaking ability and Thunder Wave to provide speed control and slow down faster Pokemon, allowing Nidoking to pick them off more easily. Klefki is notable for its ability to switch into Weavile and force it out. Though it lacks Spikes, Clefable can spread paralysis too, and it can pressure teams with the threat of a Calm Mind sweep thanks to despite its lack of Spikes, as Nidoking's ability to remove Steel-types for it can help Clefable pressure teams, threatening a Calm Mind sweep. (causal relation didn't make sense and this is more accurate with your original sentence) Tank Garchomp punishes powerful priority moves and helps weaken Pokemon by phazing them with Dragon Tail.

Other Options
=============
