If one player wants Free Battle and the other wants Level 50, which takes precedence? I would assume the former, seeing as how gimmicks like lv1 Smeargle are sort of dependent on it.

With World's 2010 right around the corner, andrea and I have decided to take things back to their roots and host a VGC tournament using the exact same rules as Worlds 2009.

The 2009 rules were taken down recently, however the 2010 rules are more or less the same without the Pokemon restrictions.
