So an Alien fell into earth with hopes of ruining our ever so valued OU metagame with layers upon layers of spiky garbage for our most valued land dwelling creatures to step on. Little did this Alien know, the OU metagame was already littered with this sharp trash by none other than a BURD! As everyone knows after trickroom’s prestigious RMT, birds are far superior to land creatures and aliens are no exceptions to this. Deoxys wishes it was a descendent of the mighty Archeops but alas he is not. Skarmory is and just so happens to do everything Deoxys in its defensive forme can do but in a much more bird like fashion. Whats this though, it looks like the alien is being suspected for a ban from the OverUsed tier, but due to his the glare coming off of his metal feathers, Skarmory escaped the suspect crew’s view and continues to elude them despite being superior in every way to his alien foe. In order to protect himself from the suspect team further though, Skarmory assembled a team of land creatures with fellow bird Latias as second in command, and to this day they are terrorizing the OU Suspect ladder.

Now iampie and I have been out of the loop for awhile when it comes to XY OU. We got thrown back into the mess because of the Suspect testing of Deoxys-D and S so we wanted to make a team that spikestacked like Deo-D teams but without the deo. We decided to make a stallish spike stacking team with Skarmory.

And with no further ado, iampie and WreckDra (obv PieDra) present: Old Ironsides and his squad!

Ok so we wanted to build a stall team using Skarmory to lay down a bunch of spiky garbage for the opposing teams to step on. Spikes are just great at whittling down the opposing team. This could also fit many other roles such as checking many physical threats in the meta.

Since WreckDra suggested using Sand Stall in the Ubers chat, where we usually hang out, a defensive core that really stood out to us was VenuTran as it checked many, many threats in the meta as well as working very well with Skarmory. Heatran was also able to lay down Stealth Rock in order to put the opposing team into even more pain in their feet. We also saw with that these mon’s defensive typing, they were able to force many switches, further racking up spikes damage.

So far we are very weak to EQ Mega Charizard X as well as greninja, we also lacked the offensive presence in order to break through other walls. We also lacked Priority so far which was a huge issue. For this role we decided to use Azumarill in order to break through those pesky walls which are generally very hard to break through for stall teams and also check MegaZard X and Greninja at the same time.

Now we wanted a scarf user. We chose Tyranitar for this position because with a Choice scarf, it could be a useful revenge killer for the team as well as picking off frail things with pursuit (gengar, latis, starmie, etc.) it could also surprise fast threats like thundurus with a stone edge thinking they are faster and they just get outsped. This also gave sand to the team which kind of Screws up Venusaur’s Synthesis but adds to the residual damage Spike Stacking notion of the team because Sand damage can be really clutch at times.

Ok now we are down to our last mon. So far we lacked defog (even though we have a skarmory :P), a lando check, and a good Keldeo check. The choice was pretty clear to us, we wanted a latias, now the reason we used this over Latios, which wields more offensive presence was because we wanted a better check to Landorus and Latias has more special defense. Healing Wish is also nice for healing up a very important defensive member of the team that is getting low if Latias is useless in that game.

Team Preview:

Team In-Depth:

**Ol’ Ironsides**

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 212 HP / 194 Def / 104 Spd
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Spikes
- Counter / Whirlwind
- Roost

Skarm is the teams main hazard support and boy do those Spikes hurt. Unlike the Deoxys formes, Skarmory will be able to set up Spikes multiple time per game which is nice considering how many offensive Defog users there are that have survivability issues i.e. the Eon Twinsbirds. Skarmory’s defensive niches that we had to consider when building the rest of the team was that it was a decent check to Dragon Dance Mega Tyranitar and all variants of Scizor (it does not enjoy its lefties being Knocked Off, though). It is also a soft check to Bisharp and Defensive Mega Charizard X (with EQ especially) but it would be heavily crippled after its encounter with those two. If Sturdy is intact, Skarmory can endure the mightiest of blows and retaliate back with a Counter making it an emergency check to all physical threats. Knowing this, Skarmory’s partners were fairly easy to pick surprisingly.

Set Explaination:

For this team we wanted to use a Spikes Skarmory to wear the opposing team down because Skarm finds many opportunities to set up Spikes. Obligatory roost is obligatory. For our other two moveslots we decided to use Taunt+Counter to stop setup sweepers like Pinsir without breaking a sweat, you could also use Whirlwind over Taunt in order to phaze things out and get Spikes Damage on them.

EVs are to get a good HP number for Leftovers and Sturdy and to outspeed Mega-Venusaur EVed to outspeed Adamant Azumarill and Mawile and Taunt it as well as Mandibuzz. Rest is put into defense to be as bulky as possible.

**Burning Passion**

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 200 SDef / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
- Stealth Rock
(Changes suggested by aim)
Heatran, despite being a land creature, has won the friendship of Skarmory. Skarmory has close connections with the King of Avians, Ho-oh, who is unfortunately unable to be used in OU. :[. She has the job of setting the sharp floaty pebbles that stab into the feet and wings of those who float above our Spikes, especially overconfident Robins who think they are hot stuff. Unfortunately, she has a stomach issue that constantly forces lava into her esophagus. She can use here disposition to throw up molten rock into the face of stupid bugs, flammable plants, and metal monsters who think they can take her heat. Anything else that does not share her fiery side may also be left with a monstrous 3rd degree burn. The fumes she releases from deep inside her will also poison any creature without organs of steel or an already poisonous heart making her great for wearing down wicked buzzards and other obese creatures. She has also developed a mighty Roar from dealing with too many ungrateful friends. This skill is also used to mess up posses of creatures that practice the art of dancing with swords and calming their minds as well as plotting nasty things to do against our team while also rudely interrupting unsuspecting Baton races. She is a massive team player and Skarmory is lucky to have such an adept land dweller on his side even though she is not a bird.

Set Explaination:

We decided to use Specially Defensive Heatran as the first part of our VenuTran core as that is able to check many things. Lava Plume and Stealth Rock are obvious choices of moves because we don’t have another SR setter and Lava Plume is obligatory STAB. We chose to use Roar because this is a SpikeStacking team and it can rack up a lot of damage and can be useful in clutch situations. In the last slot you can either use Earth Power in order to take out opposing Heatran which can really be a pain in the neck to take out, or you can use Toxic to put some big walls on a timer as well as being a good spammable because nothing appriciates Toxic that wants to switch into Heatran.

The spread is to make sure you outspeed opposing Heatran and Earth Power them before they can do anything while still being as specially defensive as possible.

**Beer Belly**

Azumarill (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Knock Off

Azumarill knows nothing more than how to kick ass and sip drinks at the same time. He is one of the strongest land creatures to walk the earth and that is why Skarmory has made him a close friend. His primary profession involves murdering dancing alcoholic dragons that spit a beer fueled blue flame and have Tough Claws. He has what it takes to Play Rough with these fiends and send them into their hangover the next morning. He is a seasoned slayer of evil and does not give a damn about black hearted dinosaurs or little catdogs (umbreon) of evil or even the mighty Dragons with multiple layers of armored scales. Kicking frog ass is his personal favorite pastime. Unfortunately, he needs a job for him to pay for the copious amounts of water and alcohol he drinks so when he isn’t kicking actual ass, he is cheering his teammates on in a drunk fashion. He is a fearless firefighter who not only douses flames but has made it a habit to completely dest any fiery creature that stands in the way of his mighty Waterfall. Despite his beer belly, he is actually quite quick with a jet of water flying right into the face of his enemies, enabling it to revenge kill those who dare hurt his mighty bird friends.

Set Explaination:

Azumarill was our much needed check to MegaZard X as well as Greninja, although it doesn’t appreciate an HP Grass on the switch. We chose to use CB over A.Vest because this has no trouble muscling through walls and destroying teams. Waterfall lets Azumarill break through Steel types like Mega-Mawile, while being a reliable STAB move and hitting most things hard.Aqua Jet is the only priority on this team and has useful revenge killing capabilities which can really come in handy vs. things like Landorus. Play Rough is an absolute nuke and can really be spammed as nothing really wants to take one and offensive teams absolutely despise this. Knock Off in order to trouble opposing Aegislash which this team has some troubles with.

EVs are to outspeed support Sylveon and Tyranitar without speed EVs, while the rest goes into bulk and Attack to muscle through defensive teams.

**Mrs. T**

Tyranitar (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Superpower / Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch / Crunch
- Pursuit

Tyranitar ruined Skarmory’s property by toppling a scenic mountain near his roost. After a 7 year long feud, they finally put their differences aside. Now she has proven herself to be a very adept land creature when equipped with her fashionable Choice Scarf letting her be able to move her fat body at incredible speeds, catching many fast threats like the genies and Mega-Pinsir. In fact, Mrs.T is able to move so fast that she is able to catch opposing Pokemon on their way back to their trainer and is able to dispose of things like Gengar rather easily. Skarmory is one of the few birds that dare face Mrs. T down in fact due to the heavy stones she tosses at speeds that would break any normal bird’s wings. As Skarmory witnessed on the day they met, she also has ridiculous Superpowers that allow her to destroy any kind of terrain, obliterate other dinosaurs, smash stupid pink blobs, demon possesed chess pieces, and exterminate moles. Alternatively she can redirect this enormous power towards the ground to cause a thunderous quake warding off any possessed medieval weaponry that want to face her down. Her jaws have exorcismal properties in that they drive ghosts from this world with a single Crunch. Biting psychos and aliens is also a fun pastime of hers and they always seem to be brought to their knees because of power behind such a snap. Skarmory doesn’t tell her this, but Tyranitar is a bit on the heavy side, and there for kicks up a stupid amount of sand and dust wherever she walks. This sandstorm she creates gets in the eyes and wounds of opposing pokemon, weakening them for here and the rest of the crew. Although Tyranitar is a dinosaur, Skarmory is very happy to have a creature like her as a friend.

Set Explaination:

So Tyranitar is a massive role compressor. She Functions as a back up special tank, revenge killer, bird spam check, Thundurus check, and is a massive pain for Hyper Offense overall. Superpower and Earthquake are variable since one OHKOes Bisharp and the other hits Electric-types that the team has a weakness to. Crunch was to hit the common Deoxys-D lead but since the suspect test banned Deoxys as a whole, we can now forego Crunch for better coverage in Ice Punch which also allows her to revenge kill Landorus and is her best option vs Gliscor, Dragonite, and Garchomp. Ice Punch is far weaker than Crunch though, so Crunch can still be used if you prefer a reliable STAB move. Stone Edge allows here to check the infamous Bird Spam core as well as Thundurus, a weakened Kyurem-B, and is a strong, good coverage STAB move overall. Pursuit is for the Eon Twins and to weaken anything Tyranitar is checking as they try and switch out. It has very good utility on this team and should never be replaced.

The EVs are standard for a physically biased Choice Scarf user in order to maximise TTar’s revenge killing potential and make sure her moves aren’t weak either.

**Unbeleafable**

Venusaur (M) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 236 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed/ Hidden Power [Fire]

So Mega Venusaur started out as a bird food experiment gone wrong. Professor Noctowl was surprised to see the pile of mutated bird seed he had left to grow overnight had sprouted legs as well as leaves, smashed a hole in the lab wall, stole a radioactive rock, and wandered off into the world. Venusaur is a decent fellow for a land dweller until his radioactive rock takes full control of him. Skarmory found him after he terrorized a small village due to this stone and there the two became good friends. The stone that transforms Venusaur turns his back into an overgrown mess and makes him much more obese. His newly found blubber makes it so he can survive both extreme heat and cold. He also came out of the lab with a venom drenched heart that can scare fairies and other plants from a mile away. In his uncontrollable rage he will either cover his enemies with vampiric seeds, or jab his roots into his opponents faces and begin draining them of their vital nutrients. Both of these abilities make him especially good at murdering silly water bunnies, overgrown mudfish, pwnys, hippos and more. The explosive toxins that his heart creates will usually ball up in his throat, forcing him to cough it up at something, or in this case silly little creatures that believe they are fairies. Although Skarmory likes Venusaur as a creature, he loves him when he is under the effects of radioactive power.

Set Explaination:

So Venusaur was a tricky member to fit because of TTar’s poor synergy with Synthesis. This pretty much forced us to use Leech Seed for emergency recovery should Venusaur need it. Otherwise, the set is pretty straight forward. Giga Drain is to take care of anything weak to it and to give Venusaur recovery enough to hard check Mega Gyarados when at full health. Sludge Bomb, as mentioned above, is for Fairy- and Grass-types and is just powerful STAB in general. Synthesis is mandatory recovery although it has very poor synergy with Tyranitar unfortunately. Venusaur also completes the Venu-tran core.

The EVs are to Outrun other Venusaur as well as outpacing Mawile and Azumarill while the rest are thrown into physical bulk. Venusaur is a pretty straight forward member of the team.

**MORE BURD!**

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 78 HP / 188 SAtk / 244 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SAtk / 30 SDef / 30 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Healing Wish
- Defog
(Changes by Subject 18)
Latias has been close friends to all birds ever since Ho-Oh decreed that both she and her brother were to be birds. Skarmory is one of her closer friends and when she heard that he was constantly trying to elude the eye of the suspect crew, she did not hesitate to join his crew. Skarmory was glad to have here on the crew due to her terrifying ability to summon meteors from the depths of space to crush her opposition. She also has an absurdly strong mind that she uses to permanently rustle the jimmies of any creature who dare try to make a fool of her. Her powerful wings keeps Spikey trash from stabbing the land dwellers in skarmory’s posse. She keeps her feathers in top shape in order to stomach waves of sewage that come from a cloud riding, marshmallow headed genie and fiery dragon like monsters that reside high in the sky. When her magical orb that sucks life has weakened her, Latias performs a ritual in wishing one of her teammates the moral to fight at their full capacity again. Although she could give herself the ability to survive 1 more turn from her magical orb, she chooses not to since she knows Skarmory needs her at full attacking power. Skarmory is always happy to have such a potent yet beautiful bird on his crew.

Set Explaination:

The moves are all pretty straight forward with Draco Meteor being for raw power, Psyshock working very well with Spikes vs stall while also being our move to hit opposing Mega Venusaur, Conkeldurr, Amoonguss ect (see threat list). Healing Wish is to give another team member a second chance assuming we mess up somewhere along the way.

We decided to max out Latias’s Special Attack instead of using the standard Life Orb number set just because she is the only Pokemon on the team that can hit relatively hard from the Special Attacking side. Landorus-I makes balance like our team a borderline unviable playstyle which is unfortunate. She is one of our very important checks to Rock Polish Landorus-I along with Azumarill which is as good as you’re going to get on balance in terms of safety vs the genie.

Conclusion:
So using the team is a lot of fun and we were very surprised that it worked so well seeing it was the first OU team either of us had built in a while. I personally didn't care enough to make requirements for the suspect ladder, but pie managed and ended up peaking pretty darn high with it. I myself had some played some games vs Level 56 Malefic and some very notable others that really showed the teams strength (I will edit in replays later if I can find them) so we both thought we would share it after the suspect ladder subsided.

Have Fun with the team and don't forget to rate it :)

Threatlist

S Rank

Tank:Heatran is the safest switchin, if they predict the switch with sacred sword, the team is in some trouble. Tyranitar with EQ can finish it off and Venusaur can beat it 1v1 with a combination of Leech Seed, Synthesis, and repeated Giga Drains

SubToxic: Heatran is definitely good for this, she can switch in on a predicted toxic, sub, or KS and get free rocks then proceed to Lava Plume or roar it out if its behind a sub. Heatran also has the special bulk to take a few shadow balls.

All-Out Attacker: This is almost impossible to wall but easy to revenge kill with Tyranitar because it has no Kings Sheild.

Swords Dance:Annoying because it can set up on Latias but both Skarmory and Venusaur can beat it 1v1 and Tyranitar, once again can revenge kill it with Pursuit because it doesn’t have Kings Shield.

Bulky D-Dance: Azumarill is a great check, it resists both of Charizard’s STAB moves and is able to do amazing damage to it with a CB Play Rough. If it doesn’t carry EQ, heatran is able to wall it, set up rocks on it, and Roar it out. If it doesn’t have a D-Dance up, T-Tar is able to revenge kill it with Stone Edge.
D-Dance: Once again, Azumarill is the main switchin and is able to do huge damage with a CB boosted Play Rough. If it carries Roost> EQ, Heatran is also able to wall it and Roar it out.
Once again, T-Tar is able to revenge if it doesn’t have a D-Dance up yet.
Bulky Will-O-Wisp:This is harder to handle because it is able to Will-O-Wisp Azumarill and cripple it. You have to scout whether it has EQ or Flare Blitz and then wall it with Heatran or Skarmory, respectively.

Fast Hazard Setter: This is annoying because there is nothing immune to T-Wave on this team and its always able to T-Wave something and get at least one hazard up.
Bulky Hazard Setter: T-Tar makes this cry, Crunch 2HKOs and it is only to get up one hazard and Latias can Defog it later.

Life Orb Attacker:Walled by Skarmory and is setup fodder for Spikes.
Dedicated Hazards Lead: T-Tar annihilates this because Crunch brings it down to its Sash
Dual Screens:My team doesn’t care about screens too much and they can get defogged by Latias.
Rain Dance:T-Tar can change the weather and Venusaur does well Vs. most of the rain sweepers anyways.

Special Attacker:Latias can easily switch in, outspeed, and OHKO with Draco Meteor after rocks, but it has to watch out for Knock off, though.
Calm Mind:This is more annoying to handle because Draco can’t OHKO with a CM up although it can’t OHKO with Sludge Wave with a CM up while Latias outspeeds and 2HKOs with Psyshock. If it doesn’t CM on the switch, Latias can still just OHKO.

Prankster Attacker:Very annoying to this team as it can spam T-Wave without fear because nothing on this team is immune to it. Venusaur pretty much walls the rest of its moves except for HP Flying in which case this team is in trouble. Tyranitar is also able to revenge kill it after coming in on a predicted T-Bolt or Hidden Power.
Nasty Plot: HP Ice variants are handled by Venusaur, and are revenged by Tyranitar. The ones with HP Flying are tougher to handle because they aren’t walled by Venusaur but they can be revenge killed by Tyranitar without having to fear T-Wave because these don’t carry that.
Defiant:Walled to the grave by Venusaur and cant’t really do work vs this team. If Venusaur is down then Tyranitar can revenge kill it, and if its low enough, Azumarill can Aqua Jet it.
Mixed Attacker:Once again walled by Venusaur and revenged by T-Tar, not much else to say about this.

A+ Rank

Belly Drum:Walled to the grave by Mega-Venusaur and can be Whirlwinded by Skarmory.
Choice Band: Walled by Venusaur and to an extent, Skarmory.
Assault Vest:Not very hard to handle at all. Completely walled by Venusaur and Skarmory, being Spikes fodder and Venusaur can just Leech seed it.

Defiant Attacker:Annoying because it can come on on Latias’ defog, get the Defiant boost, and proceed to be able to OHKO it. In order to handle this you should usually Healing Wish to Skarmory and then use Counter on the incoming Knock off in order to OHKO Bisharp. When Skarmory is down, you can either just sacrifice Latias to get a free switch to Tyranitar or if its low enough, revenge it with Azumarill’s Aqua Jet.

Unaware CM:This just gets annihilated by Heatran. Heatran comes in, sets up rocks, toxics it, and roars it out without having to worry about anything.
Magic Guard CM:This is a little bit more annoying because it can’t be Toxic’d. Heatran can still come in, set up rocks, and roar it out but it is hard to wear down because it can’t be toxic’d. In order to wear this down you have to Leech Seed with Venusaur and proceed to wear it down with Sludge Bomb. If things proceed to get out of hand with CMs, Heatran can always Roar it out.
Physically Defensive:Once again, Heatran hardcounters it by flawlessly coming in, setting SR, toxicing it, and Roaring it out. Venusaur is also able to handle this with repeated Sludge Bombs.
Tank:Can be annoying because it just spams T-Wave without fear. Heatran can also come in on this, set SR, toxic it, and Roar it out. Venusaur can also hit it with repeated Sludge Bombs but will be Paralyzed in the process.

Choice Scarf:Completely walled and hardcountered by Skarmory, it is Spikes bait and if it decides to keep attacking, then Skarmory can use Counter and do huge damage unless Rock Slide flinches 15 times in a row. :P. If Skarmory is down, then Venusaur can also take it on because of its huge physical bulk.
Rapid Spin: See Choice Scarf.
Sand Rush: See Rapid Spin.
Assault Vest:See Sand Rush.

Offensive Stealth Rock: This can be taken on by either Venusaur or Azumarill but is almost impossible to wall. If it doesn't have Fire Blast then it is hard countered by Skarmory and is Spikes fodder. Revenge killed by Latias.
Choice Scarf: This can come in on Latias and revenge kill it so its kind of annoying but otherwise its very easy to handle. You just have to scout for what its locked into and after that it is easily wallable.
Swords Dance: Hardcountered by Skarmory (sorta), Skarmory can have issues with it since its only means of doing damage is Counter. Whirlwind eliminates this threat though. Latias offensively checks this set.
Tank: Skarmory can easy switch in on this and set up Spikes, if it carries Fire blast

All-Out Attacker: It is dealt with by Azumarill, Azumarill can just switch in on anything besides HP Grass and proceed to EASILY OHKO with Play Rough. If it doesn’t have Extrasensory then Venusaur can handle it very easily.
Spikes: See All Out Attacker

Dragon Dance: Venusaur handles it OK if it doesn’t have Bounce (on mega what?). Azumarill is also able to switch in and OHKO with Play Rough.

All-Out Attacker: Azumarill and Latias both all handle this relatively easily (burns from Scald are annoying on both). Venusaur handles it well after Mega evolving assuming it does not come in on a Choice Specs boosted HP Flying.
Calm Mind: Latias can easily switch in on anything and proceed to outspeed and OHKO with Psyshock. If Latias is down then Azumarill also does very well vs this as it resists both secret sword and Scald/ Hydro Pump and proceed to OHKO with Play Rough.

Setup Sweeper: Spikes fodder for Skarmory, Venusaur can beat it 1v1, T-Tar can revenge it with EQ. Heatran can resist both Play Rough and Iron head x4 and Roar it out.
RestTalk: Nothing on this team really cares. Spikes fodder for Skarmory and revenged by T-Tar’s EQ (if it carries it).

Swords Dance: Skarmory can either Whirlwind it out or if it carries Taunt, then it can Taunt + Counter it. Tyranitar can also revenge kill it (providing Stone Fail doesn’t happen)

Bulky SD: Skarmory says hi and can either set up Spikes, Whirlwind it out if it gets greedy, or use Taunt + Counter on it depending on Skarmory’s set. Heatran is an easy check as it outspeeds, x4 resists Bullet Punch, and roasts it with Lava Plume. She hates taking Knock Off on the switch though.
Offensive SD: This is harder to keep in check because it hits so hard. Skarmory can Whirlwind out boosts, and it can also Taunt+Counter but it will take HUGE damage in the process. Venusaur also beats this 1v1 if it carries HP fire.
Defog: Skarmory is this Scizor’s worst nightmare if Skarm carries Taunt. Heatran alsomsolidlt checks it but getting hit by Knock Off on the switch is annoying and Superpower hurts.

Revenge Killer: Heatran can easily switch in and set up Stealth Rock provided it doesn’t U-Turn. Revenge killed by Tyranitar’s Stone Edge.
Bulk Up: See Revenge Killer.
Swords Dance: See Bulk Up.

Choice Scarf: Gets beaten by both Skarmory and Venusaur. If it locks into Crunch to get Defense falls, you can switch to Tyranitar to do massive damage with Earthquake or OHKO with Superpower. This gets revenge killed by Azumarill
[red]Choice Band[/red]: Scary because nothing on this team resists Rock so it can just spam Stone Edge without fear. Venusaur can beat it 1v1 and both T-Tar and Azumarill can revenge it.
Physically Defensive: is Dealt with by Skarmory (if it doesn’t carry fire blast) or Venusaur. If it tries to get cheeky and go for Defense falls with Crunch, go to your own Tyranitar or Azumarill and proceed to do huge damage to it.

Dragon Dance: scary.jpg since our team has no Rock-type resistance. You have to play smartly with Skarmory, Venusaur, and Azumarill in order to beat it when it comes in Late Game.

Defensive: This is dealt with by Latias once a Sleep fodder has been chosen. Heatran also easily beats it 1v1 and sets up rocks on it and can Lava Plume and fish for a Burn. Skarmory can also set up Spikes on this after sleep fodder has been chosen.
Offensive: See Defensive.

A Rank

Wallbreaker: Heatran if it doesn’t carry Focus Blast and Latias if it doesn’t carry Dragon Pulse. If it doesn’t carry roost, it is easily worn down by SR+Leech Seed+Sand+Toxic. It is easily revenge killed by Tyranitar as well and Azumarill to an extent. The best way of dealing with this is going to Azumarill and baiting the Solar Beam so T-Tar can come out and kill the sun, therefore trapping Charizard and easily outspeeding and OHKOing with Stone Edge.

Dragon Dance: It cannot use Outrage so long as Azumarill remains standing and unscouted for the BD set. If it doesn’t carry Fire Punch then Skarmory walls it until it needs to Roost. Counter and Whirlwind do very well vs this.
Choice Band: This thing hits so hard. It can’t lock into its Dragon STAB though due to Azumarill and Skarmory being around. It also has to choose what coverage move to lock itself into wisely due to the presence of Skarmory, Heatran, and Azumarill making its life difficult.
Bulky Roost: Skarmory sets up 3 layers of Spikes vs this and WWs it out. Azumarill can also do huge damage to it with Play Rough and if Multiscale is broken it straight up OTKs.

Utility: Skarmory is a full stop to this and makes it Spikes fodder if he runs Taunt > Whirlwind . Heatran sets up rocks and can do gigantic damage to it with Lava Plume. If Venusaur carries HP Fire, then it is completely Hard Countered.

Utility Attacker: Heatran should be your initial switch in for this as it can set up rocks and Lava Plume this for damage as it doesn’t have any recovery and it completely walls Gengar. SpD falls annoying.Pursuit trapped and RKed by Tyranitar.
Destiny Bond: Bringing in Tyranitar on its expected anything but Focus Blast through clever pivoting is the way to go here. Once its low enough, Pursuit OHKOs without Gengar having to even switch out.

Specially Defensive: Very annoying when used in conjuction with Venusaur as Venusaur easily beats the only things on this team that can even touch this (i.e. Azumarill, and Tyranitar). It can either be KOed by Tyranitar’s Earthquake, or Azumarill’s Waterfall but Spikes are generally the best way to wear this threat down when it is used with an opposing Venusaur.
Choice Scarf: This thing is walled by Heatran if it doesn’t carry Earth Power. It can do serious damage to the team if it does though, you just have to scout what it gets locked into and go into the
Choice Specs: Nothing really walls this on the team so its very important to scout what this is going to be locked into or else something is taking huge damage from a Specs-boosted attack.
Revenged by Azumarill and Tyranitar.

Specially Defensive: Skarmory can easily come in and set up 3 layers of Spikes if it wants to stay in. Venusaur can also switch in and Giga Drain for huge damage. Azumarill can do a lot with Waterfall.
Physically Defensive: See Specially Defensive except now it takes even more damage from Giga Drain and Latias can hurt it a lot with Draco Meteor.

Offensive Pivot: Skarmory walls this to the grave while also setting up 3 layers of spikes, and if it decides to Stone Edge repeatedly for damage, you can just counter and do a lot of damage to it. Venusaur can also beat this 1v1 using a combination of Leech Seed and Giga Drain. Latias can also switch in on anything but U-Turn and either Defog away its rocks or Draco Meteor its face off.
Choice Scarf: Walled by Skarmory and is complete Spikes fodder, but is kind of annoying because it gets momentum with U-Turn. RKed by Azumarill’s Aqua Jet.
Double Dance: Skarmory can deal with this with the combination of Taunt + Counter, or Whirlwind depending on the set chosen. If it hasn’t set up RP yet, then Latias can revenge kill it. When it is low enough then it just dies to Azumarill’s Aqua Jet.

Utility: Azumarill still turns this Buzzard to mush even if its Choice Band gets Knocked Off. Heatran is EVed to creep on standard 16 Spe Mandibuzz and Toxic it before it can Taunt.Latias can also do huge damage with Draco Meteor, and Tyranitar can come in on anything besides Knock Off and do crippling damage with Stone Edge.

Offensive Defog: Walled by Heatran and rocks get set back up if Latias chooses to Defog, if it stays in after that, it gets Toxic’d. Tyranitar can also trap and kill it with Pursuit.

Special Attacker: Just like his twin, Latias, he gets walled by Heatran and rocks get set up on it. If it chooses to stay in and defog the rocks then it gets Toxic’d, therefore greatly limiting its longevity. Tyranitar can also revenge kill and trap him with Pursuit,
Choice Scarf: If this chooses to try and kill Venusaur with Psyshock, then Tyranitar completely annihilates this with Pursuit. Heatran also completely walls this to the grave, setting up rocks, Toxicing it, and Roaring it out, although, it does have to watch out for Surf.

Defensive: Venusaur doesn’t give a crap about anything this wants to do to it and can threaten it with Volt Switch, although a burn will be annoying, and we don’t have a ground type to switch in on Volt Switch so it can easily gain momentum vs things like Heatran that have to switch out fearing the Hydro Pump.
Choice Scarf: Venusaur just doesn’t care about this. It is able to switch in on anything but Volt Switch, which can be annoying with momentum, and threaten it with Giga Drain.

Life Orb Attacker: This is a huge threat because this team has no rock resist but Venusaur is the main switch in as it can easily take any attack and threaten with Giga Drain. Its SR can be defogged by Latias. Revenge killed by Latias, Tyranitar, and Azumarill.
Choice Band: Very scary because it can hurt anything with Stone Edge but Venusaur can beat it 1v1 with Giga Drain and it is revenged by Azumarill, Tyranitar, and Latias.
Offensive Stealth Rock: See Life Orb Attacker.
Choice Scarf: Venusaur can switch in on any attack and beat it with Leech Seed+Giga Drain. Revenge killed by Azumarill’s Aqua Jet.

A- Rank

Offensive: Walled and hard countered by Venusaur. Its immune to Spore and takes minimal damage from all of its attacks, Rock Tomb, Bullet Seed, and Mach Punch.
Leech Seed: Once again walled and hard countered by Venusaur, as its immune to both Leech seed and Spore while resisting both of its STAB moves.

Support: Complete Spikes bait for Skarmory. It can Taunt it and Roost off damage from Seismic Toss while simultaneously setting up Spikes and if it wants to, Counter if it decides to stay in and Seismic Toss a bunch.
Wish Support: See Support.

Swords Dance: This is completely walled by Skarmory and gets set up Spikes on or Whirlwinded out, it can also Taunt+Counter if it carries those. Venusaur can also beat this 1v1 with Giga Drain. Latias and Azumarill both revenge kill it.
Choice Scarf: This is just like Swords Dance but just easier to handle. Skarmory can set up 3 layers of Spikes vs it while Venusaur also beats it. Revenged by Azumarill’s Aqua Jet.

SubToxic: If it doesn’t carry Taunt then it is completely walled by Skarmory and it can set up 3 layers of Spikes and Whirlwinded out. If it carries Taunt then its a different story and it is much harder to handle. Venusaur can always come in and beat it up with repeated Giga Drains while not having to fear Toxic. Revenge killed by Latias, Azumarill, and Tyranitar.

Specially Based Mixed Attacker: This is a Huge threat to the team. Nothing can safely switch in. Your best bet is to wear it down with Stealth Rock+Sand+Spikes and Smart Switch arond to get Tyranitar in to either Stone Edge if you havn’t revealed the Scarf yet or Pursuit and do a lot of damage to it. It is very important to get up SR ASAP when you see this. Latias can also revenge it but is very hard to get in.
Physically Based Mixed Attacker: This doesn’t usually carry Earth Power so it is pretty much dealt with by Heatran (kind of). You can toxic it and Lava Plume for damage. Remember, you still have to set up rocks ASAP because the teams best way of dealing with this is residual damage. Still revenge killed by Tyranititar and Latias.
Substitute Attacker: See Specially Based Mixed Attacker except now it you have to prevent this from setting up for free because if it does, it can do MAJOR damage.
Choice Scarf: Much easier to handle than the rest of the sets for this Pokemon because once it is locked into an attack, it is easily switched in on and taken advantage of.

Physical Attacker: Easily switched in on by Skarmory, and it can set up Spikes, and if Mammo decides to get cheeky Icicle Crash repeatedly and go for flinches, then Skarmory can use Counter on it and do huge damage, although it would probably switch out. This is RKed by Tyranitar with Superpower, Azumarill’s Aqua Jet, and Latias.
Focus Sash: Walled and set up Spikes on by Skarmory while its Rocks can get Defogged by Latias later.

Tail Glow: Venusaur does very well versus this unless it carries Psychic which can be threatening but then it wouldn’t carry Ice beam so it could be taken care of by Azumaril. Revenge Killed by Latias and Tyranitar.
Calm Mind: Harder to handle than the Tail Glow set but it gets beat by a combination of Leech Seed+Play Roughs from Azumarill. Revenged by T-Tar and Latias’s Psyshock

Offensive Lead: Used as Setup Fodder for Skarmory while WWing it out as it Baton Passes. Its spikes can get absorbed by Venusaur and/or Defogged by Latias.
Baton Pass: BP Chains are really hard to handle for this team but luckily it is now nerfed to only 3 pokemon and also we have two phazers and CB Azumarill does have a lot of Power while Latias can prevent Scoli from setting up Iron Defense so Azu can try to kill the chain later.

Physically Defensive: Heatran can come in on anything and re-set up rocks if it Defogs and Lava Plume for damage. Venusaur can also lure it if it carries HP Fire.
Spikes: Heatran once again can switch in and beat it while Latias can Defog its Spikes after they have been set up.
Specially Defensive: Same as Physically Defensive except its a bit harder to take on because Lava Plume doesn’t do as much but now Azumarill can do a good bit with Waterfall/Knock Off

B+ Rank

Pivot: Hard countered by Venusaur with HP Fire, if it doesn’t carry HP Fire then it will be a StaleMate but Venusaur will eventually win because Amoonguss has no recovery. You can always switch to Latias and threaten it with Psyshock on a predicted anything but Spore and force it out.

Mixed Attacker: Very hard to keep in check because of its great coverage. Your best bet is either Azumarill/Venusaur to take it on or you can get T-Tar or Latias in on a predicted EQ or Fire Blast, respectively and threaten them with Ice Punch/Draco Meteor.

Offensive: Nothing on this team isn’t threatened by this. The only chance you really have is either switching TTar in on Psychic and revenging it or just sacrificing something and RKing it.
Calm Mind: This is much easier to handle because it doesn’t carry Focus Blast so Heatran can easily switch in on anything and set up Stealth Rocks and Roar it out, it can also Toxic it and the rest of the team can wear it out with smart switching. RKed by Tyranitar and

Bulky Dragon Dance: Skarmory is your best bet versus this thing, everything else takes HUGE damage after a DD. You can either Whirlwind out boosts or Taunt+Counter to kill it. Without a D-Dance up it is easily RKed by Tyranitar’s Stone Edge. Azumarill can also survive any attack and do a lot of damage with Play Rough.
RestTalk: Venusaur can switch in on anything easily and easily beat it with a combination of Leech Seed and Sludge Bomb nothing. Azumarill can also Play Rough repeatedly and do good damage. Skarmory can also Taunt+Counter while taking minimal damage from Waterfall. Latias can also get a free Defog off on it.
Offensive Dragon Dance: Skarmory is your best bet with Counter and/or Whirlwind, but will take huge damage every time it tries to check it so just don’t let it set up for free. Azumarill also survives any attack and…
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Gyarados: 325-384 (97.8 - 115.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
:D

Physical Attacker: Venusaur can easily wall and OHKO it with Giga Drain. Tyranitar can also change the rain if Venusaur is dead and RK it with EQ or Superpower. If worse comes to worse Skarmory can take any attack and do major damage with Counter.

Physical Attacker: Nothing really want to take this on 1v1 simply because it hits so hard but Latias can come in on Psycho Cut although it doesn’t really like taking HJK even though its resisted and kill it with Draco Meteor. Skarmory can also come in on anything but a HJK and try to catch it with a Counter on an incoming HJK.

Specially Defensive: Venusaur can switch in and easily beat it with Leech Seed+Giga Drain. Azumarill does huge damage as well with Play Rough….
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Politoed: 339-400 (88.2 - 104.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Offensive: Venusaur can easily take this on with Giga Drain+Leech Seed. Azumarill can also easily survive any attack and KO with Play Rough. Latias can also get a Defog off on it and do big dommage with Draco Meteor.

Physically Derpfensive: Venusaur can easily switch in on anything and easily OHKO with Giga Drain.

Choice Band: Skarmory can switch in on anything and set up Spikes. Heatran can also outspeed and OHKO with Lava Plume and/or set up Stealth Rock because it x4 resists Bullet Punch although this can be annoying with U-Turn momentum.

WallBro: Venusaur walls this if it doesn’t carry Psychic and Giga Drain’s repeatedly for damage. Tyranitar does a lot of damage to it as well with Crunch.
Trick Room: This cant really do too much to Azumarill or Venusaur unless it carries Psyshock and it doesn’t really hit hard enough for me to care while Venusaur does big damage to it with Giga Drain.

Defensive: Tyranitar can easily switch in on anything and threaten with Stone Edge. Venusaur can also easily take it on 1v1 with Leech Seed and repeated Sludge Bombs.

B Rank

Tank: Skarmory can easily set up 3 layers of Spikes versus this while Venusaur completely walls everything this has to throw at it because of its Leech Seed immunity but unfortunately its the same way around because Chesnaught has BulletProof to avoid Sludge Bomb. Latias is also able to do huge damage with Psyshock.

Assault Vest: It will take awhile, but Venusaur can beat it 1 on 1 and Azumarill donks it right out of the gate but does not appreciate its CB being Knocked Off. Latias needs to watch out for Knock Off but she can revenge kill Conk below 75%.
Bulk Up: Azumarill OHKOes even when Conk is at +2. Latias can also OHKO but needs to watch out for Ice Punch / Knock Off if she decides to switch in. Venusaur can also take it on with a combination of leech seed and Giga Drain.

Choice Specs: Nothing really appritiates a Trick but the only things it can trap and kill are Venusaur and Skarmory and it can’t even get both of them because T-Tar puts Goth in a CheckMate position with Pursuit.

Offensive: Nothing wants to switch in but Venusaur can switch in on CC and beat it 1v1 with Leech Seed and Sludge Bomb and Skarmory can switch in on Pin MIssile and beat it with Counter. Latias can also do huge damage with Psyshock and Azumarill resists both its STAB moves and can live any attack while easily OHKOing with Play Rough

Mixed Rain Wrecker: Azumarill can be worn down when forced to come in on multiple rain boosted Hydro Pumps, but otherwise is an extremely solid check. Venusaur can stall Kingdra until rain runs out and eventually beat it one on one otherwise. Latias RKes it after its rain is gone.

Swords Dance: threat.jpg It can set up on Venusaur who cannot touch it with anything other than Leech Seed. Skarmory into a sticky situation where it needs to rely on a good Whirlwind in order to Roost of the massive damage Luc will do to it. Taunt + Counter is forced into a sticky situation if Stealth Rock is up since it gets 2HKOed by Close Combat and Lucario can Swords Dance expecting Counter. Tyranitar Revenge Kills it if it doesn’t have Bullet Punch or a Swords Dance.

Special Attacker: This thing annoyingly buys momentum off of Skarmory since the team lacks a Ground-type. Otherwise, it is countered by Venusaur after Mega Evolving and checked by Heatran / Latias who can Defog on it if necessary. A smart double switch to Tyranitar can help end its Volt Switch shenanigans early with Pursuit and Sandstorm damage.

Stall Breaker: Heatran easily walls this and can Toxic it or if it gets Taunted first, Lava Plume and fish for a burn. If Mew lacks Taunt then Heatran easily sets SR, Toxics it, and Roars it out. T-Tar is also able to Pursuit trap this but you must be wary of Will-O-Wisp
Hazard Control: See Stall Breaker.

CroCune: This is very annoying because nothing beats it 1v1. What you need to do is Leech Seed it with Venusaur and then use with the teamwork of Latias/Azumarill/Venusaur you can eventually beat it. Here are some calcs:
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 175-207 (43.3 - 51.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 126-149 (31.1 - 36.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Latias Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 99-118 (24.5 - 29.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Latias Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 218-257 (53.9 - 63.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Mega Venusaur Giga Drain vs. +1 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 116-138 (28.7 - 34.1%) -- 97.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Cleric: Heatran can EASILY switch in on anything and set up Stealth Rock then Toxic it the Roar it out. Venusaur can also beat it with repeated Sludge Bombs. Skarmory can also Taunt and set 3 layers of Spikes vs this.
Choice Specs: Heatran can switch in on anything barring HP Ground and set up Rocks. If it decides to stay in it gets Toxic’d. Venusaur outspeeds and does good damage with Sludge Bomb and Azumarill outspeeds with its speed EVs and does insane damage with Play Rough.

Pivot: Skarmory can switch in on anything barring a Focus Blast, if it has Focus Blast then it can really wreak havoc on the team. Tyranitar can also be a suprise outspeed while it tries to Focus Blast/Superpower and KO with Stone Edge. Azumarill also lives any attack and does huge damage with Knock Off/Play Rough

B- Rank

All Out Attacker: Azumarill is a pretty solid stop to this since it can OHKO with Play Rough and resist anything this has to throw at it. Venusaur also beats this with repeated Giga Drains. If T-Tar carries Superpower then this is very easily RK’d
Swords Dance: See All Out Attacker except a bit harder to handle now.

Offensive: Skarmory will usually be fine against any variant, turning it into Spikes fodder if it isn’t carrying Taunt. Azumarill’s Aqua Jet 2HKOes it and its OHKOed by Waterfall.

Mega Attacker: This thing is a huge pain to handle because it has the coverage to rip through our entire team. The best way of beating this is to get T-Tar in on a Psychic-Type move and Pursuit trap it and/or Crunch it if you predict it to stay in. Azumarill also lives any attack and kills it or can revenge it with Aqua Jet.

RestTalk: Mega Venusaur will spend a lot of its Synthesis PP against it, but it can beat it 1v1 with a combination of Leech Seed, Synthesis, and Sludge Bombs. Azumarill outspeeds and RKs otherwise with Play Rough. T-Tar can also take hits and do good damage with EQ if she carries it.
Agility: threat.fabulous.avi Cleans the team way too well. Venusaur is your best shot at stopping it but he is rather unreliable because Dragon Pulse does around 50% and if Venu isn’t at full health its dead.

Wall Breaker: Venusaur EASILY switches in and Giga Drains. Azumarill also handles it nicely, being able to switch in on any attack and Play Rough with it. Latias Revenge Kills with Draco Meteor. If absolutely needed, Skarmory can beat it with Counter.

All Out Attacker: The best answers to this are Tyranitar and Azumarill with Waterfall and Stone Edge KOing, but both of them loathe Sacred Fire’s burn chance. Venusaur can also take it on because of its thickest of fat. (lol)

Choice Specs: Venusaur beats it if it locks into anything but Extrasensory it it does lock itself into Extrasensory though, it means free rocks from Heatran, or damage from Tyranitar’s Pursuit. Locking itself into its STAB means Latias handles it pretty well.
Assault Vest: If Tyranitar has Earthquake, it is your best option vs this. Otherwise it is a bit of a process to take it down if it has Extrasensory for Venusaur. Latias can take it on pretty well if it does have Extrasensory > Shadow Ball due to psyshock hitting its Defense and not its Assault Vest cushioned Special Defense.
Calm Mind: If Tyranitar has Earthquake, it is your best option vs this. If Tyranitar has Superpower, have Venusaur Leech Seed it, although you might eat an Extrasensory in the process, and then go into Tyranitar and start hammering it with Crunch.

Tank: Venusaur can easily switch in on anything and OHKO with Giga Drain, Skarmory can switch in and set up Spikes, and Azumarill can switch in, outspeed, and OHKO with Waterfall.

Choice Band: Skarmory is your best switch in to this as it can threaten it with Counter or use it to set up layers of Spiky garbage. Tyranitar revenge kills Staraptor easy but cannot come in on Close Combat.
Choice Scarf: This is even better Spikes fodder for Skarmory who can once again threaten it with Counter. Tyranitar RKs or Pursuit traps if it doesn’t lock itself into Close Combat.

Choice Band: This thing has the coverage to tear this entire team apart so it is very important to scout what this thing is going to lock itself into. If this gets locked into V-Create, its dead to Tyranitar because of defense drops and Pursuit. Venusaur can take Bolt Strikes and Brick Breaks, althought U-Turn momentum is annoying.
Special Attacker: Your only answer is Latias, if that dies, then it gets Pursuit trapped by T-Tar.
Choice Scarf: See Choice Band except now easier to handle to be honest.
TRTini: Azumarill is slower than minimum speed Victini and OHKOs with Waterfall. Latias also survives any attack and does huge damage with Draco Meteor.

All Out Attacker: Azumarill resists everything Weavile has and can OHKO it with Play Rough . If Azumarill falls for whatever reason, Skarmory takes it on well and Tyranitar RKs.

Ending The Threat List here because we have pretty much covered all the big threats.

We shall add the red yellow green color scheme to the threat list later. Iampie is leaving on a trip so we had to get this done tonight and Xeneforo was being rather stupid in handling the colors.

Hey WreckDra and iampie!

I saw that no one has given you guys a rate so far, so I thought I would drop one for you guys. Overall you're team looks like its off to a great start and there are a couple things that I would change to improve it. First thing I noticed is that you have Sand + Synthesis Venusaur, which is pretty suboptimal from a synergy stand point. While Mega Venusaur can switch in to things like Keldeo, Thundy and Azumarill who threaten Tyranitar, however the presence of Sand hurts Venusaur's recovery and makes it easier to wear down when it only gets 25% back with Synthesis. Secondly, Bisharp + Landorus is completely nightmare for you to handle because once Latias is gone, Landorus rips your team apart. To fix these issues I would use HP Fighting on Latias over Psyshock to be able to catch Bisharp on the switch. With that change you should run an EVs spread of 72 HP / 188 SpA / 244 Spe Timid, this allows you to maintain the jump on Keldeo and adds some bulk to take a few more attacks. Psyshock is your most replaceable move as Draco Meteor still beats Keldeo and replacing Healing Wish or Defog isn't really the best thing to do for this team.

I don't really agree with Tyranitar on the team as it really conflicts with Mega Venusaur, but one thing you could do is replace Mega Venusaur entirely and use Amoonguss which can accomplish the same role as Venusaur does and doesn't really mind the presence of Tyranitar's sand. If you are worried about not using a Mega Pokemon you could replace Venusaur with Amoonguss and use Mega Aerodactyl in the place of Tyranitar to give you a nice revenge killer with recovery in Roost but I don't think it's really needed here since Tyranitar is better to deal with the Latis.

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace
- Ice Fang / Fire Fang
- Roost

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpD
Calm Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog / Hidden Power Fire
- Foul Play

Hope this helped and good luck with the team.

Hey WreckDra and iampie cool team! It actually looks very solid so I won't suggest much change. I do see some holes that I feel a few simple fixes can patch up. First off Greninja is a huge threat to your team. Mega Venusaur can't take Hydro Pump + Stealth Rock + Extrasensory and Azumarill fears any more + Hp Grass. In order to patch up this weakness I would suggest changing Choice Band on Azumarill to Assault Vest. With Assault Vest Azumarill becomes a reliable Greninja switch in as well as it can tank Thunderbolts from Thundurus, need be, as well as Keldeo's Choice Specs Hydro Pump/Scald. The ability to switch up moves combined with Spikes and Stealth Rock make Azumarill a very asset to the team.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet

My final suggestion would be changing Earth Power on Heatran for Will-o-Wisp. Will-o-Wisp allows you to better deal with SD Fire Fang Mega Mawile which is a pretty big threat to your team as a weakened Heatran definitely does not appreciate a hit and with Mega Venusaur not having HP Fire, this gives you a reliable way to cripple it without taking any damage. This also helps with common switch ins such as Tyranitar, Azumarill and bulky pokemon like Garchompl. With Eq on Tyranitar and Azumarill in the back, I feel that Earth Power is a bit unnecessary.

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 200 SpD / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Earth Power
- Will-o-Wisp

Anyway, that's all i've got. Cool team! Hope i helped. :]

Subject 18:
We both noticed the synergy issue when building which is why I run Leech Seed on my own Venusaur along side Synthesis. Amoongus was something we thought about as well, but all of a sudden Mega Gyarados is a major issue as we have to keep Azumarill above 87% health (more if there are Spikes against us) just to deal with it. Considering Azumarill's hefty team role, with its resistances being so crucial, this is borderline impossible to do in some games without allowing more holes to open up. This change would also mean Mega Tyranitar (who is already a problem) would pretty much 6-0 us if it gets to +1 via -2 Latias. The sand + Synthesis thing is a necessary evil I feel because the other options out there just don't bring to the table what Venusaur does :(.

I do agree with the HP Fighting Latias though since you are right about Landosharp. I usually find myself playing extremely aggressively around those two and it paying off a lot less than I would like. I will add that right now as well as the Latias spread you mentioned since Lando makes Balance like ours borderline unplayable as is and having a little extra bulk to use against it should be nice.

The sand thing will have to remain an issue unfortunately but thank you for helping us out anyways :]

aim:
Nice hole catch, I tried justifying the use of AV after playtesting with Malefic but could never do it and neither could he. Grenny is a threat that I don't see much, but it definitely warrants AV on Azumarill (as well as the spread change). The team will miss the power, but I think it's worth it. Once again nice catch.

I ran Toxic > Earth Power on Heatran (primarily because the Ubers player in me says if you have a filler slot, run Toxic) personally while iampie ran the creep he did + Earth Power to beat other Heatran who we have trouble taking down otherwise (Lava Plume burns suck xP). I will give Will-O-Wisp a shot though since it is better at punishing a lot of Heatran's switch-ins like you said.

Thanks :]
