Pokemon Seminar - Maximizing Your Odds of Winning (August 14th, 2010)

Hello all! I am proud to announce a special event here at Battling 101, a Pokemon Seminar. In this, a few selected Pokemon Professors will give a lecture on IRC about Pokemon (what else?)

This lecture will give you a chance to pick up some great tips from some of the best battlers on Smogon. It also gives those of you who have trouble getting into the program a chance to get a bit of tutoring. There will also be ample time for some Q&A at the end.

Here are the specifics of the seminar:
Date: August 14th, 2010
Time: 8 PM EST (GMT -5)
Place: A channel (TBA) on IRC

The subject of the lecture, as stated in the thread title, is Maxmizing Your Odds of Winning. Examples of things to be included in this seminar are double switching and scouting (among other things).

As someone who has trouble getting involved in B101 because I'm not very active on smogon's forum, this seems like a great opportunity. I'm glad that being part of smogon's facebook group has finally been useful to me. :P
