Volcarona [Sun] (F)

Like Joy, Sun hatched out of one of Mowtom's Eggs. When she hatched, Sun's first sight was the sun at high noon. She...imprinted on it. It creeps everyone out when she acts like the sun tells her what to do (which is pretty much always). It creeps them out even more when she calls it "Mommy." Or, now that she's evolved, "Mom."

Type: Bug / Fire
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
  • Fire STAB; immune to burn status. Brighten Command.
    • Brighten Command: For the next six (6) actions, all this Pokemon's attacks will have their accuracy increased by one stage. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
Abilities: Flame Body / Swarm (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.
  • When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, X-Scissor from 8 to 10)

Clawitzer [Dory] (F)

Dory is very forgetful. She would forget her big claw if it weren't attached to her body. It's quite endearing though. Before she was captured by Mowtom, Dory lived near the EHC (East Hoennese Current), and everybody loved spending time with her. Especially one particular Tentacool, who she would call "Squishy."

Type: Water
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Ability: Mega Launcher
  • This Pokemon has impressive launching power built into its physiology, and all of its Aura and Pulse attacks have their BAP increased by three (3). Full List: Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Water Pulse. This Pokemon's Heal Pulse will also heal five (5) more HP.
Nature: Timid (+Speed, -Attack)

Necturna [Groot] (F)

Groot is Groot. Everyone knows this. Or rather, everyone knows that Groot wants to be Groot. Unfortunately for her, she is both the wrong gender and the wrong species. This...hasn't stopped Groot from screaming her name loudly. For all to hear. All the time. ALL. THE. TIME. *eye twitch*

Type: Grass / Ghost
  • Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command.
    • Bloom Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's "Grass," "Powder," and "Seed" status-moves will have fifteen (15) added points to their Base Accuracy (e.g. Grass Whistle goes from 55 Base Acc to 70 Base Acc). Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
  • Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.
Abilities: Forewarn / Telepathy (Unocked)
  • This Pokemon is more adept than usual at sensing and reacting to the opponent's attacks. As a result, it gets a bonus move substitution that must have a condition in the format "If Pokemon X uses move Y", with no further qualifiers or additional clauses allowed. This bonus substitution may go anywhere in the list of substitutions the Pokemon makes, but it must be indicated with "Bonus" or "Bonus Sub" or something similar in front of the bonus substitution.
  • This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponent's spread damage attacks.

Overall

Bolderdash: 4 MC, 1 KOC (as MC)
Evolves into Stratagem since it already has 9 EC (Gains: Magnetic Flux, Weather Ball)
MC: 0 -> 5 -> 0 | Buying
Level Up [1 MC]: Electro Ball
Gen 6 TM/HM [4 MC]: Protect, Substitute

Stratagem [-] [Johnny]
Types: Rock
Rock: Rock STAB; Adds an additional level of Priority (+0 to +1, +3 to +4 etc.) on naturally occurring level-up, egg, tutor, or TM attacks that increase only defense, special defense, or prevent damage (Full list: Acid Armor, Amnesia, Barrier, Defense Curl, Detect, Quick Guard, Harden, Iron Defense, Light Screen, Reflect, Skull Bash, Stockpile, Wide Guard, Withdraw). Reduced damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm, immune to Sandstorm damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Rock attacks requiring an external rock source.
Abilities: Levitate | Technician | Mold Breaker (H) (Unlocked)
Levitate: This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.
Technician: This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack that has its BAP increased by Technician is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.

Mold Breaker: Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities. (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, etc.) Attacks are still redirected by Lightningrod/Storm Drain, but damage is dealt normally. Status-immunity abilities such as Limber will remove their relevant status at the start of the victim's next action. For a full list of affected abilities, see http://pastebin.com/sMZktgbV.

Granbull [F] [Gnash]
Types: Fairy
Fairy: Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Intimidate | Quick Feet | Rattled (H) (Unlocked)
Intimidate: When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents. Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.
Quick Feet: This Pokemon feels a sense of anxiety when afflicted with a status condition and its speed increases by 50% (x1.5). Although it can still be fully paralyzed, it will not suffer the Speed drop.

Rattled: These Pokemon are more easily frightened by Ghost-, Bug-, and Dark-typed attacks and will raise their Speed by one (1) stage when struck by attacks of those types. If this ability was triggered by an opponent's attack, the natural stage is also adjusted.

Remoraid [F] [Glacier]
Types: Water
Water: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

Abilities: Hustle | Sniper | Moody (H)
Hustle: At default this Pokemon puts immense force and speed into its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal. When toggled, no effect.
Sniper: This Pokemon has deadly accuracy and strikes sensitive points, increasing its critical hit bonus from +3 to +5 on single attacks, +2 to +3 on two-hit attacks, and +1 to +2 on multi-hit attacks.

Moody: This Pokemon's feelings are always fluctuating, and its mood at any given time greatly influences how it can act from one round to the next. In addition to its general nature, this Pokemon displays a burst of emotional power each round that shares characteristics with other natures, affecting the Pokemon's Ranks directly. At the end of each round the Pokemon changes its Moody nature (roll out of 25 R1 and out of 24 in subsequent rounds), a nature that has the regular drawbacks of a nature but enhances that nature's strengths. Please refer to the Natures Section for Moody Natures.

Approving. EDIT: Claiming.

jayelt413: You already have Ice and Thunder Punches listed on Mawile's movepool. Either edit your claim so you only convert 16 UC, or I'll have your Mawile having 4 extra MC. Fix and Approved.

I claim approved means I have to wait for another 9 :P

Also claiming from this battle, which chronologically happens before Zheng when to the Stargazer Colosseum (just a note to self, don't mind me...) That's 4 CC to my stockpile,

Lucy the Gardevoir uses 3 MC to learn Body Slam (past-gen tutor), 1 KOC and 1 UC to learn Echoed Voice (Level-up), adding in free Draining Kiss, and converts 1 KOC to CC.
Gajeel the Honchkrow uses 3 MC to learn Captivate (past-gen TM).
Cana the Muk uses 3 MC and 1 KOC to learn Attact and Confide (2 XY TMs).
Juvia the Froslass uses 3 MC and 2 KOC to learn Body Slam (Snorunt's past-gen move) and Attract (XY TM).
Mirajane the Castform uses 3 MC to learn Body Slam (past-gen tutor), and converts 1 KOC to CC.
Laxus the Eelektross uses 2 MC to learn Dragon Pulse (XY tutor), stockpiling 1 MC.

Now spending my recently gotten 6 CC to get Gogmagog's Left Arm the Omanyte, Gogmagog's Right Arm the Lileep, and Fenrir the Rhyhorn.

CC: 0+4+1+1-6 = 0
UC: 178-1 = 177

Gardevoir - Lucy (F)

Born without a family in the wild, Lucy’s life has been fraught with peril of being hunted and bullied by most other wild, stronger Pokemon. One such incident left her under severe shock from poison by an unknown aggressive Poison-type. Had a human not happened by, she would’ve died or at best, crippled for life. Luckily, Zheng was the second person to found her, called by a fellow trainer who was looking for mushrooms in that region. Together they saved the Ralts, and after a brief discussion Zheng named her Lucy and brought her into his family. Gray was the first to be able to contact directly with her, but it was through efforts and enthusiasm of the whole gang that brought her out of trauma and into life again.

Despite her growing strength, Lucy still has much distaste for open, direct conflict - hence she is very much like Wendy in that regard, learning the arts of healing and support, using direct attacks as distraction rather than full-on assault. Despite that, she gets on quite well with most of the brawling boys - they respect her decision, and will not hesitate to take her side against any foes who dared to so much as insult her. In turn, Lucy is the logical voice of the whole family - her ideas always astute outside of battle, with her innate mental capabilities only enhance her charms and perception.

Lucy likes to spend most of her time penning her thoughts into words, giving herself clarity on her own emotions. Confident in her appeal and skills, she sometimes still has her doubtful moments, but learning to calm her inner storms is something Zheng taught her to do diligently, and she always falls back to that in any situation.

The discovery of Gardevoirite trade intrigued Zheng, and when Lucy came in contact with it, she seemed to be in a far tranquil state of mind. Such was here power with the Mega Stone that the whole monastery and even nearby areas are shrouded in an aura of peace and compassion. Taking care not to affect the lives of others, Zheng had since been cautious in allowing Lucy to come in full contact with the Stone, unless the battle demands for the release of her powers.

Honchkrow – Gajeel (M)

Gajeel is rather different, compared to the rest of the lot - probably his dark instincts gave him a bit of a "lone wolf" attitude. Efficient in his ways, smart in his pose, Gajeel would have a hard time fitting in - except that the girls are incredibly forgiving, and while the guys wouldn't hesitate bringing on a throwdown (save for Elfman, who repaid his indifference with barely a shrug), they never keep past grudges. Its what drove Gajeel to approach Zheng after many days of stalking them - eating, living, fighting with the affectionate way only siblings might have had. He is no slouch either - holding his own even against Erza is no small feat in the family.

Having treasure-hunted a Dusk Stone, Gajeel spent some days learning how to learn the arts native to his species, guarded by Pantherlily in the progress. The transformation itself is painful, but having endured it, something seems... both more and less in him now. When Zheng found out about his sudden bursts of suppressed emotions, it can only be attributed to Gajeel's efforts. Seeing it as only the results of his evolution, Zheng did nothing else but allow him to discover this new path, mostly on his own. What Zheng didn't know though, was that the lads have secretly form an agreement - to take turns watch over Gajeel whenever he had one of his bursts.

Nature: Mild (+1 SpA, -1 Def)

Type:
Dark type: Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.

Flying type: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Insomnia

Ability 2: Super Luck
Type: Passive
This Pokemon’s natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 25% of the time.

Type: Passive
This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its attack by one (1) stage. This boost is maintained at the end of each round.

Muk - Cana (F)

Cana is an alcoholic, probably one of the very few Pokemon throughout the world to actually enjoy imbibing such beverages. Her natural biological system is the prime cause for her incredible alcoholic tolerance, and also of her encounter with Zheng - she was drinking in the wine cellar under a small inn when the innkeeper caught her red-handed. Flustered, the innkeeper cannot do anything without Pokemons, and Zheng arrived to save half the cellar, while paying off the other half. Flirtatious and often half-drunk, she's quite an addition to the family - as well as quite the reason of Zheng's oft-empty purse.

Her drinking exploits have garnered quite a reputation amongst the locals, much to Zheng's chagrin. However, Cana was smart enough not to bring her habits into the monastery, and so Zheng can't really do much but rebuke her gently. When sober, she often purifies the monastery's nearby stream by absorbing all the intoxicants and harmful substances from the water - which is why some local brewers drew water from the monastery when they make their ales.

Nature: Quiet (+1 SpA, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Type:
Poison type: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in. Perfect accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction.

Store Command said:
For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's moves will have their poison / toxic effect chance double.

Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
Abilities:
Ability 1: Stench
Type: Passive
Cana's sexy, boozy odor reeks into each of its attacks, causing all of them to have a 10% flinch rate. This applies to each hit of a multi-hit move.

Ability 2: Sticky Hold
Type: Passive
Cana cradles her items much like the way she cradles her alcohol barrel, in a strong grip that prevents item theft or swapping.

Ability 3: Poison Touch (DW Unlocked)
Type: Toggle
Cana can channel her body's alcoholic resistances into a form of offense. Whenever she hits an opponent with a contact attack, that opponent has a 30% chance of being Poisoned. If disabled, all of her attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison (with the same chance of effect).

Froslass - Juvia (F)

Juvia has a terrible crush on Gray. Period. This romance probably started when she spied Gray practicing the Ice Punches (since it worked quite well against Natsu) and she has been tagging along ever since. There's nothing Zheng could do to dissuade her, so he figured he might as well adopt Juvia too. Unfortunately, Gray is blind to the obvious - or rather, he does not find it in himself to reciprocate. Faced against such cool indifference, Juvia did not back down, making a promise to herself that she will, one day, let Gray see that she is already in his heart. Not that Gray isn't acting like a gentleman - so some of his actions towards Juvia was probably misleading, as well.

The chance to settle down gave Juvia hopes of raising a family of her own with Gray, of all things. Redoubling her efforts to spend time with Gray whenever he's not training for Halls, Juvia gets paranoid when another girl approaches Gray, to the point that her imagination runs wild of multiple-way relationships. Her affection with Gray had long been an open secret, one that she cares not about hiding. The girls secretly support her, and even the guys do nothing to impede her - or perhaps the lads just wanna see what Gray would do in such a situation. Her own training has not been set aside, though - in addition to wielding water in its coldest form, Juvia also hones her perceptive skills, something further enhanced by the Dawn Stone given by Zheng.

Juvia trains her ethereal perception to suit her native snowy conditions, gaining a 20% evasion boost an immunity to Hailstone damage during Hail.

Ability 2: Cursed Body (DW Unlocked)

Castform - Mirajane (F)

Mirajane is a sweet girl, always smiling at everyone, even though she sometimes do gets into fights with Erza when the latter is not busy pounding Natsu. She helped Elfman overcome his innate fear to swimming by teaching him patiently in Lake Lucid. As a result, the latter treated her as an elder sister, always protective of her while respecting her opinions on every turn. In turn, Mirajane always stays near Elfman for guidance, often perching atop his head on journeys and summoning sunny skies to invigorate the Numel. Despite her small stature, no one else in the family looks upon her as the one to be protected - Mirajane is very capable of looking after herself, usually resolving conflicts around her in a diplomatic way but more than willing to respond with force if necessary.

Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)

Type (weather-dependent):
Normal type: Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Thrash or Outrage will not be disrupted by oncoming damage.
Sunny Fire type: Fire STAB; immune to burn status. Brighten Command.

Laxus - Eelektross (M)

Misunderstood since he had memory about his gender and sexuality, Laxus often feels angry at the world. At capture, he felt that only Zheng was non-judgemental to him, and more important, his anger. Yet, he still often lashes out at the people he loved because he's angry with himself for being weak. And he tries to be stronger by projecting his will upon others. Erza and Mirajane are the two who'd stand up to his reckless tantrums, not allowing him to hurt himself or those around him.

Nature: Quiet (+ SpA, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Type:
Electric type: Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Levitate
Type: Passive
Laxus naturally floats above the earth when released, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude.

Approving all claims above except my own. EDIT:

Fort Colorcastle: Fix and APPROVED. Two things. One, the match with maxxed Alakazam gives you 9 CC, not 10 11 CC because I forgot about Tricked Heart Scale, so your total should be 33 35 CC, 3 UC. Two, I'm here to pass a message about your Aurumoth match:
[21:40:05] <dogfish44> I'd say it passes with a note along the line of "even in flashes, play to win, not draw. Otherwise DF will be grumpy and your profile might accidentally be deleted."
Ooraloo: 221 UC on your stockpile. Looks good, APPROVED.
jayelt413: Looks good, APPROVED.
Frosty: Heracross and Growlithe ends up with zero MC, Clawitzer and Armaldo with 6. You'll have 143 CC and 205 UC. Looks good, APPROVED.

So that's 4 more claims approved, meaning I need 5 more to convert to UC.

CA: 0 + 1 (previous post) + 4 = 5

ZhengTann: Echoed Voice is a TM on Gardevoir. Deduct 1 UC to compensate. Maybe get a different TM on Omanyte, Protect is a level-up move too. Maybe get a different Egg on Lileep, Stealth Rock is a ORAS tutor too. Rhyhorn's EC should be 0/9. Fix, PM me, and APPROVED

1 claim, +0.3 UC, total now 42.1

+2 CC
(+1 CC, and then +1 KOC).

4 MC (3 + 1) is spent on Secret Power and Snore.

---

We'll also use 7 UC along with Archeops's 1 MC to get Archeops Frustration, Secret Power, Snore, and Uproar.
