Overview:
The PS NU room has became well known for having a good amount of tournaments everyday. With that said, we have decided that it'd be a fun idea to host more "official" scheduled tournaments. There'll still be regular NU tournaments just for fun, along with the popular Challenge Cup 1v1 ones. There will be two official NU tournaments scheduled per day during a season and the winners of each tournament and the season winners will be logged, along with replays of the finals.
Point System:
There will be two tournaments every day within a season worth points that will determine the winner of that respective season. The majority of the tournaments (Monday-Friday & Sunday) will be worth 1 point given a win. On Saturday however, tournament wins will be worth 3 points, kind of like a "money ball" in 3 point shooting contests. Also, if a user is determined winner of a season and is a "regular user" in the PS NU room, they will be rewarded with voice. If they are already ranked in the room, a reward will still be decided for the winner.
Point Ties:
If there are two or more users who have the same amount of points at the end of a season, there will be a tie breaker match, or matches, depending on if it's more than two tied.
Seasons:
Every other month, there will be a month long season. So for instance, in the debut season for August, we will not be hosting a season the month after in September, but rather waiting until October. This will give a month break allowing the system to become more fresh for the next season to come.
