Poison Sting + Pin Missile is a bug typed combination Toon

Also regenerator is only +6hp for a chill, and the en gain is the same

EDIT: Pausing this battle until I can attain a proper ruling on the Multi-Hit Move in a different move combination thing. And if this is ruled to be a Poison-typed Combination, I'm going to request a reorder.

Wait, why did my sub activate A3? I specifically say that if you're to use Sleep Talk but are not asleep then you use Chill, Slowbro was to use Sleep Talk no matter what but wasn't asleep A3 so he should have used chill.
 
Your main orders is Sleep Talk so your second sub would activate since that sub is above the "if you're to use sleep talk and not asleep then chill" Sub and he is using a damaging dark combo

The second sub activates and changes my sleep talk to another sleep talk but the third sub also activates because I'm still using sleep talk, but because I'm not asleep Kurt should use chill.
 
Action clauses are checked before Chance Clauses, because Action Clauses are checked before the action starts, while Chance Clauses are check when you are to act.
More importantly, subs have priority in the order they are written unless otherwise specified.
 
The third sub should change my actions regardless of whether my second sub activates or not because I'm using Sleep Talk on both situations and the condition (that I'm not asleep) is there.
 
There is a rule saying only 1 substitution is allowed to activate per action.

From the Handbook: A pokémon's substitutions activate whenever the trigger's conditions are met, a substitution with a higher priority has not already activated for that Pokemon, and the result of that activation is legally usable.

Your third sub would activate... if your second sub had not already activated that action.

Sleep Talk wasn't usable because I wasn't asleep. Follows the same logic that a protect sub would be ignored if the pokemon is taunted.
 
Those are different.

The problem here is a case of move failure by execution

The example you gave is a case of move failure by selection

The difference is that if a move fails by execution, it can still be ordered, but fails, like Protect used consecutively.

But by selection, the move cannot be ordered at all.

You can be ordered to Sleep Talk while awake, you just fail the move.
 
It follows the same logic regardless, if I put up a sub to prevent me wasting a turn I expect it to activate BECAUSE the conditions apply and logically it would be my intention that said sub, which prevents me from wasting a turn, be the one to activate.

On the same track why am I poisoned? Rest clears all status the moment is used and as far as I know you cannot status a resting pokemon so why is Slowbro Poisoned at all?
 
Expectations don't equal rules kid. The rule is that you can still order a Sleep Talk while awake, so the sub triggers.

Rest says in its description that all of its effects occur at the end of the actipm
 
Rest clears all status the moment you use rest, otherwise you could say use a Venoshock combo and I would still be poisoned, if that's not how it works then I want a reorder.
