You will get a single warning per round. After that, you go over DQ and you're done. Referees please tag the combatants when you have finished your reffing. Players, if you know you're going to be away you better post a Leave of Absence BEFORE you leave, or give a very good reason in case of an emergency.

IAR brings a team full of powerful pokemon, all capable of doing serious damage. In particular, pay attention to Cyric the Gengar. The ghost has SE STAB on half of Tort's team, and plenty of coverage, in addition to support moves coming out the wazoo. He'll be sure to do plenty of damage.

Team Tortferngatr:
Katherine (Gardevoir) {♀}
Nature: Bold (+1 Def, -1 Atk)
Type: Psychic / Fairy

  • Psychic STAB; Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-Type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

  • Fairy STAB; -1 EN on non-Fairy Typed Nature, Sound, and Scent moves (Stacks with second STAB where applicable). (Nature Power, Natural Gift; Sound Moves; Aromatherapy, Odor Sleuth, Sweet Scent)
Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (H) / Pixilate (M)
  • Synchronize: (Passive) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison-Types cannot be poisoned, Fire-Types cannot be burned & Electric-Types cannot be paralyzed in this manner.

  • Trace: (Trigger) When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.

  • Telepathy: (Passive) This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

  • Pixilate (Toggle) By default, this Pokemon's Normal-type moves are Fairy-type moves, and have an additional two (2) BAP boost. When toggled, this Pokemon's Normal-type attacks have their BAP increased by two (2). If a Pokemon has been skill-swapped multiple abilities that change Normal-type attacks, the attacks become dual-typed, but the BAP boosts of the abilities do not stack.

Tort also brings a team packed full of powerful pokemon (funny how that happens when you can bring any pokemon in ASB). Katherine the Gardevoir is going to be important for Tort, because her STABs hit 80% of IAR's team for SE, and she also has tons of coverage and support moves, like Cyric. In addition, she has awesome 100/4/4 defenses and will be tough to take down.

RNG for first sendout: 2 (Tort)

Red Card is the most confusing item ever. At least I brought something to neuter its effects hahaha. Even if its item is basically next to useless here.

Ibrandul (M) @ Everstone

Taunt > Embargo > Pain Split
IF
(Protective/Evasive Move) is used successfully without transfer, THEN use Imprison (Protect | Magic Coat | Dig) on the first instance, pushing actions back.
IF Magic Coat is used successfully, THEN use Imprison (Protect | Magic Coat | Dig) on the first instance, pushing actions back.
IF Kitsunoh is in the invulnerable stages of (Damaging Evasive Move) when you act, THEN use Hone Claws that action, pushing actions back.

"Alright, Mask.

Let's use the element of surprise--Phantom Force+Fake Out by using the dimensional detour to make your Fake Out even more surprising (and Ghost-type), Cool Down turn 2, then Roar Sableye turn 3--because there's no way in heaven, hell, or the void we're going to play this on Sableye's terms."

22:35TortferngatrIf I were to justify it by having Kitsunoh use the element of surprise created by using Phantom Force to make a Fake Out even more surprising, would you consider a Phantom Force+Fake Out combo valid?
22:36AvnomkeYeah
22:36AvnomkeGo poof, then go unpoof and smack the opponent
22:37Tortferngatrfor Ghost-type damage that prevents Sableye from playing Taunt
22:37Tortferngatrthen letting me Taunt it back turn 3
22:37AvnomkeFake Out+Shadow Sneak does that too for less en
22:37Tortferngatrnot ghost-type
22:38TortferngatrFake Out has Set combo priority
22:38AvnomkeOh
22:38AvnomkePhantom Force has higher?
22:38AvnomkeHuh
22:38Tortferngatrso it's either Phantom Force or Ominous Wind
22:40Tortferngatrwith Ominous Wind being justified by imbuing the shockwave of air caused by Fake Out with Ominous Wind's properties
22:40Avnomke...phantom force is much better
22:43Tortferngatrcan I copy paste this into my post?
22:43Avnomkey
22:43Tortferngatrgood, ty
23:06Tortferngatrby the way--Roar affects Ghost-types; I changed my mind about Taunt (Roar is basically what I'd hoped to achieve with Red Card as a move)

Conkeldurr's attack should have failed and it should not have used Struggle.

Hmmm...

Switch Phase: Conkeldurr > Sableye

Also Conkeldurr's Fire Punches should deal 3 more damage since it is boosted by Sheer Force AND Iron Fist. Now time to see if we can actually make good use of the HP advantage we somehow have...

Taunt > Foul Play (Stall) > Knock Off (Stall)
IF
(Protective/Evasive Move) is used successfully without transfer, THEN use Imprison (Protect | Magic Coat | Endure) on the first instance, pushing actions back.
IF Magic Coat is used successfully, THEN use Foul Play (Stall) on the first instance, Knock Off (Stall) on the second instance, Shadow Claw (Stall) on the third instance, pushing actions back.
IF Kitsunoh uses Phantom Force, THEN use Metal Burst (Stall) on the first instance, Foul Play (Stall) on the second instance, Metal Burst (Stall) on the third instance, pushing actions back.

Endure, Knock Off, U-Turn

If Red Card activates on getting Knocked Off, make its effect "The opposing Pokemon cannot dodge the Pokemon's action."

This is basically useless (unless the mon I switch in can use the Red Card's "-- accuracy" bonus), but just wanted to clarify because I pretty much still want Sableye to stay in.

Time for Gardevoir @ Rare Candy; Tracing Prankster.
Dazzling Gleam-Moonblast-Dazzling Gleam
IF Sableye uses Magic Coat on an action where you would use Taunt, THEN use Moonblast that turn instead and push actions back.
IF Sableye is ordered to use Metal Burst while Sableye is Taunted AND you are not Taunted THEN use Calm Mind and push actions back.
IF Sableye is not Taunted on an action and you are not Taunted at the start of that action use Taunt and push actions back.

Am I Taunted or am I taunted? That will be up to you to decide. At least there is some free damage from this. Also Avnomke learn to tag.

Protect > Fake Out > Knock Off

Avnomke I meant tagging the user after refereeing like it is directed in the OP. Also Gardevoir should have four more energy.

Poison Jab > Fire Punch > Poison Jab
IF
(Protective Move) is used successfully, AND you are not Taunted, THEN use Chill that action, pushing actions back.
IF (Evasive Move) is used successfully, THEN use Rock Slide that action, pushing actions back.
IF Gardevoir has Double Team clones up when you act, THEN use Rock Slide that action, pushing actions back.

Pain Split-Psychic-Moonblast

IF (Conk uses a P/E move turn 1) then Wish-Psychic-Moonblast
IF (Conk uses Bide turn 1) then Chill-Protect for turns 2 and 3
IF (Conkeldurr uses Endure turn 1) then use Encore-Future Sight-Mean Look.
