Way too many times in hackmons I've seen imposter leads go up against my level 2 wondertomb (back when it was my lead), see my moveset (protect/curse/pain split/magic coat), and go for pain split for some reason. And then they're confused as to why splitting their 714 hp with my 15 gives me way more than my fair share.

half of the time it's from gen 5 and no one remembers it anyway

For some reason every tier above OU gets that. Ubers, balanced hackmons, and hackmons are all subject to people occasionally bringing OU teams (some of which are like a UU team with 1 OU pokemon).

There's this guy on the Tier Shift ladder with a monobug team with thunder wave on everything and a parafusing volbeat. Ran into him once yesterday and once again today. I just go back into queue and forfeit when I find somebody else so I don't get paired up with that guy again

Gardevoir setting up Geomancy on Gunk Shot Nidoking, Rock Wrecker Terrakion, and +3 Yanmega's Hurricane not even coming close to being able to break through Dragonite (it should do about 70% minimum with Modest or 64% with Timid, and it did about 58%).

SmashPass Smeargle in STABmons. Pretty much every Normal type and all the Eeveelutions get that and with better stats. Also, lots of multi-strike moves.

Edit: Psyshock+Charge Beam Mega Mewtwo Y. At least it was Mold Breaker.

Blaziken was Fire Blast/HJK/Blast Burn/Ember.
The first Blastoise was Dragon Tail/Aqua Tail/Blizzard/Aura Sphere.
The second blastoise was Dragon Pulse/Earthquake/Ice Punch/Hydro Pump.
The third Blastoise was Aqua Jet/Aqua Tail/Aura Sphere/Blizzard.
And I encored him and he died of embaressment.


Silly things on the BH ladder:
Level 1 Pikachu and Omanyte, right after each other, followed by the same Pikachu. They all forfeited at turn 1.
