Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder!

I saw a guy with a Doublade, a non-mega Gardevoir (that appeared to be max defense, based on the damage calcs), and a Raichu on the same team.

What is this I don't even...

Also stop dissing Spinda, Delibird, and Ledian. Delibird is even so powerful it had to be nerfed (in ASB). Spinda is a drunken master. Ledian is Ledian. Enough said.

EDIT: This is priceless lol:

Turn 3:
Venusaur has Mega Evolved into Mega Venusaur!

The opposing Prince (Infernape) used Overheat!
It's super effective! Venusaur lost 41.5% of its health!

Venusaur used Earthquake!
It's super effective! The opposing Prince lost 64% of its health!

The opposing Prince fainted!

BsdSquared sent out Dragon (Salamence)!

Turn 4:

The opposing Dragon used Fire Blast!
It's super effective! Venusaur lost 27.7% of its health!
The opposing Dragon lost some of its HP

Venusaur used Leech Seed!
The opposing Dragon was seeded!

The opposing Dragon's health is sapped by Leech Seed!

BsdSquared forfeited.

EDIT: and this:

Go! Excadrill!
Excadrill breaks the mold!
Excadrill floats in the air with its Air Balloon!
Turn 26

Garchomp has Mega Evolved into Mega Garchomp!

The opposing Shark used Earthquake!
It doesn't affect Excadrill...

More edits: Ummm....

Since we're posting xy replays shouldn't this be moved to xy threads? At least it would teach noobs what'll land them in this thread:p
And sorry for the double post but im on my cellphone and my last post reached the character limit(512). Might as well add a replay to keep the post relevant..

Why is a magikarp present in a FEAR team?

Aside from the Obvious Displays of Stupidities(ODS) why do people ignore sylveon when making an eevolution team? It could have replaced leafeon.

This guy sets up a sub+6 calm minds against a sigiliph and then passes it to a dragonite..

SKARMORY SWEEP!!!! Whats worse is that the only other pokemon on his team was a mantine.lol
Given the standards set forth in this thread, the guy with the Eeveelutions isn't that bad. Unlike this guy I found several months ago: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-18082523

Sub + 6 Calm minds sent to Dragonite would make more sense with a different set, like the Thunder/Hurricane set that was popular on rain teams in Gen 5.

As for the Skarmory, that's pretty funny. I don't understand why people make teams with only 1-2 pokemon though...

This guy had more rock and flying weaknesses on his team than on my Bug mono. No spin/defog/bounce/taunt, and he kept trying to set up on a Garchomp with dragon tail and things that could OHKO him: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-72705903

Yeah i know that the dude was decent enough. It was his opponent i was pointing at. Even then though, i'm frustrated how eevolution teams seem to ignore sylveon who brings important resistances/immunity to such teams.
Also that sigilyph battle is pretty bad since he could've passed the boosts to his togekiss who wouldn't care about a burn instead of dragonite.

Or to Magnezone, who would have resisted Stored Power and killed Sigilyph anyway.

And now I present, the awe inspiring Focus Blast Mega Heracross and Excadrill:

Not only is it a horrible move for these things, he was using them vs. a Yanmega, who 4x resists the move anyway. When he could have used Stone Edge and it would have been dead... Also almost his entire team had Quick Claw, including a Greninja.

Or you know he could've rockblasted it to oblivion since thats what normal hera uses,

Whirlpool/Toxic/Protect/Taunt sounds kinda interesting with a bulky build and Intimidate tbqh.
The Gyarados guy was bad, but TR guy was an ass. What's up with taunting him the whole match? What does that even accomplish aside from making you look like a dick?

Since trapping moves shave off 1/8 of the opponents' health every turn, its more gimmick than silly. But yeah using such a set over the beast that is megados is silly.
Of course, using Whirlpool on a Reuniclus is rather odd.

Then there was the guy who had not one, not two, but three Knock Off users on one team (Weavile, Conkeldurr, and Lando-T).

Wait, doesn't the passive damage from trapping moves bypass magic guard? If it doesn't then yeah that was silly. And knock off is amazing this gen so multiple users isn't that ridiculous. If you knockoff most/all of the opponents item then it was worth it.

Knock Off's BP is 65 this gen, and the power is boosted if the target has item. It's a really good attack this gen. Weavile got STAB, Conkeldurr get coverage, and since a lot of Lando-T is used as offensive pivot and utility, Knock Off is a great move on it.

Not to mention the side effect of removing items....
