You wake up to the sound of birds chirping. What a perfect way to start a sunny day at Redwall Abbey! You hop out of bed and walk down the stone steps, looking forward to the wonderful tasks ahead of you. A nice breakfast with your Redwall friends of nutbread smothered with butter, and fresh water awaits you as you sit down for a bite to eat. After you finish the well-prepared breakfast, you take the dibbuns (children of the Abbey) out for berry picking in the orchard, and take a stroll on the battlements. All of a sudden, an arrow shoots into the neck of Spiffy, who gurgled and bled to death. (to the horror of most, and the delight of some) He dropped a piece of paper as he fell to the ground, and you read it loudly as the Redwall residence piled in to witness the commotion.

Dear Spiffy,
You are Host

You are the generic host of a mafia game. You, along with your much less attractive cohost, Coronis, will watch over the game to make sure it's played fairly, and to laugh at the pointing of fingers.

Every night, you can PM Spiffy and Coronis with "Night X - Sub USER1 with USER2. USER1 will be subbed in for USER2

You may also PM Spiffy and COronis with "Night X - Kill USER." USER will die instantly.

You are allied with the hosts. You win of one of the other factions achieve their win condition.

As the kind creatures of Redwall mourned for the loss of a loved one, several voices cried from the direction in which the murderous arrow came from. "We are The Cruel!" They cried. "Redwall Abbey will be ours!" From the other direction, another group of gruesome creatures called, "We are The Scourges, and we will be in possession of Redwall after this war is over. All at once, the creatures of Redwall stood up, and shouted, "We are The Redwallers! REDWAAAAAAALLL!!! Nobody will take Redwall from us, and we are willing to die to protect it!"

Thus, the war for Redwall Abbey began.


Rules

1. Whilst you are alive you can talk to anyone about the game. Once you are dead you cannot talk to anyone about the game, unless you are strategizing with your team.

2. The game will begin on Night 0. There will be no kills on Night 0. During Night 0, no one may paste any part of his or her role PM unless they are mafia members on the same team. Role PMs may be freely distributed starting from Day 1. PM Spiffy or Coronis for help in faking a role PM.

3. Do not take grammatical errors in PMs as proof of faking. I am human and I can make mistakes.

4. You can paste things told to you by the hosts. You may fake logs. Do not take pasting of a host conversation as definite proof, these can be faked. If you want to fake a log, feel free to PM Spiffy or Coronis for assistance. Impersonation of a host or another user however, is banned at all points. Please do not attempt to impersonate in any way. You also may not screenshot anything related to the game.

5. Each Day period will last 48 hours or until a majority is reached. A grace period of two to three hours will be allowed in the latter case (a majority of votes is up to the host's discretion).

6. Each Night period will last 48 hours or until all PMs have been received.

7. During the day you must bold your vote and use Any Word <User>. To change your vote, you must edit your original post with your new vote. You may choose to No Lynch during the day as well, and any votes towards a dead user (if he or she has been godkilled) will be nullified. A tie in the vote will cause neither user to be lynched.

8. You may target dead users with your abilities.

9. Priorities are set and will be kept secret. Don't even ask about them.

10. There are no items in this game.

11. Spiffy and Coronis MUST be informed of any IRC channels or spreadsheet/whatever else you create for this game.

12. IRC is not compulsory, but you'll find it of great use during the game.

13. If you have any questions about the game, you can find Spiffy or Coronis on Smogon, ready to be contacted by PM.

14. Send all PMs to Spiffy and Coronis, and if you decide not to use an ability on a given night/day, don't forget to PM us "Night/Day X - Idling" to make it much easier for me.

15. You HAVE to be active, if you are caught inactive you will be sent a warning PM. If you keep being inactive, you will be subbed out without hesitation, please don't make us do this. :(

16. If a role PM and the rules clash in something, the role PM takes precedence.

17. Please talk to me during the game, I get very lonely it will make for a better postgame! Please give reasons for your actions, this will also help.

18. Inspection results are not 100% infallible. Remember that if you get into the game.

19. If you wish to clarify anything related to the game, you may PM Spiffy or Coronis.

20. If you are willing to be a sub for the game in case you do not get selected, you may mention that in your signup post.

Here is a quick rundown: I asked for Bunnymaster and Altair to send in actions. When I talked to Spiffy initially, he said he had no results. Then, he apologizes and says he got one result. Why would he do this? BECAUSE IT'S MY ROLE. I bolded the most important part, most of this log is banter but I didn't want to cut anything out.

I know it is convuluted, but I have proven my role as much as can be proven on n0. I will claim early d1, and I will expect claims from everyone. I am also an ideal village leader due to the fact that I have no need of the BG, as if the mafia kills me, my twin will turn into a vigilante. No mafia will kill a useless villager to give the village a vigilante. If an inspector wants to check me that's fine, although mafia safeguards could be troublesome. Any village safeguards would do well to NOT target me, however.

Also, bunnymaster and Altair can vouch for this log's validity (like I could fake a log this long anyway).

In short, I will claim early d1 and I will expect claims as soon as possible. If you do not claim early you will be cast under suspicion. Also, if there IS anything that can kill n0, feel free to use it on me, we want to get our village vigilante as soon as possible :)

In light of this, if there is a village safeguard, please do not target any of those mentioned users, including myself. In fact, village safeguard, you are better off just idling probably, I can't imagine any positive outcome coming from you safeguarding someone, other than possibly protecting someone from a silence/persuade.

In fact, there is a good likelihood I will be silenced or persuaded tonight, due to the nature of me stepping up as village leader, but I will like claims early tomorrow regardless of whether or not I am able to post in the thread. Me not posting to remind you is no longer a viable excuse, in other words. Rest assured, I will find you via other methods if you prove to be uncooperative. Few things outside of inspects make you cleaner than claiming early, by the way.

As for the inspector, all I can say is use your best judgment on who to clean--weigh the risks of there being a mafia safeguard with the benefit of cleaning me, and work from there. Just think it over, because your inspection tonight is the key to getting the ball rolling for the village.

Edit: Also, you may PM me your Role Name for now if you like, just do not, and I repeat DO NOT copy/paste any part of your Role PM. This includes phrases or even two words strung together. You may also give a description of your role if you like, but again, no copy/pasting. This is recommended, again, as the sooner you claim SOMETHING the cleaner you are. Just don't break/bend/stretch the rules, because I really do not want to lose roles based on the fact someone cannot understand the difference between Role Name claiming/Role claiming and Role PM claiming.
