Hey I'm really happy this thread exists. I follow the CAP project almost solely to see the art and spriting competitions. It always pained me to know I didn't have the artistic ability to submit anything that would even get a second glance, especially since I am so entertained by the competition. Also, I don't know if I should comment on any of the submissions since I have no artistic ability myself and my comments would therefore be poorly noted, as 1- I am not a noteworthy CAP contributor or even smogon contributor, 2- my post count is incredibly low and therefore I'm sure I'd be given little notice because of this, and 3- I am not a fellow artist. But if you were to help me, I could participate and feel like my comments would have a place in the community.
Now, I have one concern pkmn-taicho321... Is this legal within the CAP art submission rules? I have not studied out the rules but if I remember correctly their is a rule restricting submissions from a user to one. Now, while the ideas may be those of others, the final submission is your art if the person you select to help wishes it to be so... So is this or is it not bending/breaking the rules? I'm all for it 100%, but before I try to gain a spot with you in the next CAP project (assuming I am still around and you are also), I'd want to make sure you had checked the validity of this out.
Well, all in all, I am looking forward to the voting for the current CAP art so I can support you as well as all the amazing artists, and even more so to the next CAP where I may be able to put my ideas to art with your help!
