Hello everyone, I'm Nog. I frequent the OU forums and the RMT forums and have noticed that far too many people have no idea how to team build. In an effort to rectify that I have created this shop thread where users can post what they would like me to build a team off of and I reply with their team and the team building process so they know how to build in the future.

Rules:

- Do not post asking me to make use of uncompetitive Pokemon. This is not a competition to see how good of a team builder I am, this is me trying to educate people on what is good and how to build.
- Do not flame people for asking for a certain Pokemon or that they can't build one themselves.
- I really don't care if you critique me, but please do that elsewhere such as IRC or VMing me. It will clutter the thread and will make it harder to see the requests.
- Each user is allowed one request per week and any user found requesting multiple will have their post deleted and may see further punishment.
- I'll close the thread to requests once I hit 5 at a time.

This is a good iniciative, Nog. Can you make me a non-TR team with SD Crawdaunt please? I've been trying to make a team with it for ages but so far all have been a failure.

Build a team around a Dragon/Fairy/Steel core, the only requirement is that Diancie has to be the Fairy. I've already been thinking about CBB's Dragonite and Mega Scizor as potential partners but if you think you can come up with something better then go right ahead.

If you get a chance, I'd like to see a Bulky Offense team. It's the playstyle I'm least familiar with making. One abusing Mega Scizor/ Mega Charizard-X would be preferable.

Build a team with physical defiant thundurus (u can obviously use tbolt) but:
- no stealth rock and spikes on the same mon
- something that counter hard hyper offense based sand rush

Bonus:

Include Sticky Web (no clauses, u can use, example, shuckle with sr and sw)

Edit: u aren't forced to use spikes, build the playstyle u want

Good initiative Nog, you sure seem to have a lot of free time O_o Gl on this project, hope it turns out to be serious requests.

On a side note, are you the only one who is building? If so, I think this is gonna get very tiering (at least if you put a lot of effort into every team). Gl anyhow n_n

I'd be interested in seeing a Rain HO team now that Deo-S is gone. Really, any decent rain team: I had some success with a balanced rain team in the mid ladder (1500-1650), but after that it seemed like HO was the only way to get anywhere.

Hm, I guess I'd like to see a balance or bulky offense team built around Mega Heracross and Tyranitar (maybe scarf to take advantage of Megacross' wallbreaking?) Maybe para support?

You use Azelf or something instead of Deo-S. It's not as good but it still works. There's other options like Uxie and Tornadus. Losing Deo-S sort of sucked (okay it didn't because it was cancer) which is why balanced Rain > HO (well that was the case before anyways lol.)

There's >5 requests now but just ask for a balanced rain team based around, like, Kingdra or something after.

like I said this isn't a building competition, don't put these type of parameters up because how does that help teach people how to build?

Ye it's just me rn, I don't have too much free time but since WCOP teams I was building for are out I thought I could make teams for peeps here and teach while doing it.

I think this thread is a great idea! I've been on this site for almost a year now and I still don't know shit about teambuilding, so learning from Nog will be great for me and others who don't know what they are doing!

Also I call dibs on the next round.

I'm also accepting requests (first 5 and then I will also be closed) :] Since you were the first poster after the 5 that Nog has on reserve, I decided to go ahead and fulfill your request.

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Pin Missile
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Extrasensory
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Ice Beam

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder Wave
- Nasty Plot

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Lax Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake
- Pursuit

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off

So this is basically centered around the idea that Mega Hera can break for an Excadrill sweep late-game. Thundurus and Greninja will also break down special walls for each other, letting the other sweep if Heracross or Excadrill can't. Tyranitar and Thundurus as well as Excadrill provide answers to Flying spam, and ttar is full physical to make it the best switch in possible for Pinsir and or Talonflame. Ttar can also lure in Gliscor and Landorus-T with Ice beam. Lastly, Azu protects the team against Keldeo and Greninja, as well as picking off weakened things with AJ and wearing them down with Knock Off + Sand. Biggest threats to the team would be Aegislash and Landorus, which can be difficult to handle without good plays. Feel free to switch things around if you have something else you would rather use to help with these threats (Latias with Healing Wish is an option over Azu, but it makes the team weak to Greninja).

This is really wonderful, Halcyon. Thank you very much! I've been seeing a lot of teams build around SR Exca lately by some of the stronger team builders, and I've been itching to give it a try.

Thanks again!

Edit: I did have one question. Does EQ on Hera hit anything notable other than Aegi? I was using it with Sub and really enjoyed it, but I guess Sub+Sand might be a bit too taxing on it without the possiblity of lefties.

Yes EQ is for Aegi as well as Mega Mawile to a lesser extent.

-Clone- gotcha
Karxrida will do
Kiga sure thing
MilkyWay01 yup
The Bravest Bird on it

And in the span of like an hour I'm already full, when I get these done I'll post again and let you guys know when I can start building again n_n
