Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Sand Stream
252 HP/252 Def/4 Atk
Impish
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
-Slack Off
-Roar

Takes little damage from anything but Crunch, which still doesn't do enough to KO before he can Slack Off the damage and strike back with STABed, SE Earthquake.

To Hippowdon:

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Bold@ 252/0/112/144/0/0
Psychic
Grass Knot
Calm Mind
HP Ground

Comes in on anything, CM's up, and assuming you don't phaze me, I hit you with Grass Knot. HP Ground is for Fire Types IMO.

Bronzong,

Togetic @ Lum Berry
Modest, Serene Grace
252 HP/ 252 S.Atk/ 4 S.Def
-Nasty Plot
-Thunderwave
-Fire Blast
-HP Fighting

Togetic is slower than Togekiss, so it takes less from Gyro Ball. Plots, Fire Blasts. HP Fighting is for Heatran.

If Togetic gets slept on the switch in, Gyro Ball would kill it eventually.
The lum berry wakes it up iirc.

Why would you run Hidden Power Fire? Thunderbolt does more to all Steel-types except Steelix and Forretress, plus you're now helpless against BOTH Swampert and Garchomp.

@ Magnezone

Electivire @ Expert Belt

Adamant
252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 6 HP

Thunderpunch
Earthquake
Crosschop
Ice Punch

If he hasnt magnet rised I 1HKO with EQ. Gets a good boost from tbolt and doesnt take a whole lot from HP Ice.

Choice Scarf n00b. Get a brain. That increases its speed to beat the fastest non-scarf Mamoswine. I am pretty sure that a 394 SAtk Heatran with Overheat can OHKO Mamoswine.

Even Choice Scarf won't let you attack while you're in the process of switching in and eating an Earthquake on said switch.

@ Mamoswine

Charizard @ Focus Sash
252 spd, 252 s.atk, 6 hp
Timid nature
- Fire Blast
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast

Takes the Stone Edge courtesy of the sash and abuses its newfound Blaze-boosted Fire Blast to incinerate the mammoth.

Heatran couldn't switch in safely to a Mamoswine. I don't know why anyone would switch any Heatran into a Mamoswine.

Who says you have to switch into it and who says it is going to use EQ?
The First Page said:
for the purposes of this game, a "counter" is a Pokemon that can switch into a Pokemon, and, assuming neither Pokemon switches, that counter Pokemon will end up with at least 1 HP, and the other Pokemon will be fainted.
Heatran switches in on Ice Shard: Check.
Heatran switches in on Ice Fang: Check
Heatran switches in on Stone Edge: Check
Heatran switches in on Earthquake: Not Check

Since one of Mamoswine's attacks are not a safe switch in for it, and its definitely not surviving the Earthquake period, its not a counter.

Edit: Thought this part was included in the above quote...

Also The First Post said:
A counter has to be able to switch in to any of the pokemons moves and basically either make the original pokemon switch out, or kill it before it kills you.
