Introduction
FFTA2 stands for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, and in that game every battle would have a judge which declared laws specific to that battle, usually limiting how you could move or attack. This tournament aims to adapt those kinds of a laws to a Pokemon format.
Tournament Specific Rules:
- At sign-up you must PM me, Oglemi, 1 team of 6 Pokemon and that 1 team only (I only need the 6 Pokemon, items/abilities/evs/moves/etc are subject to change). Those 6 will be your team for the whole tournament.
- You must save the replay of your battles and PM it to me after winning once the tournament starts so that I can make sure you are using the same team. If you forget to save the replay that is grounds enough for your opponent to ask for a rematch.
- Every round I will introduce 3 Laws. These Laws can range from banning the use of a type of move (eg no Fire-type moves) and banning certain abilities all the way to disallowing switching.
- Laws will not stack, meaning the rules for that round will only be for that round.
- If you break a law, it is an automatic forfeit and you lose the match.
- Battles will be best of 1 single elimination

The Laws For This Round:
Fire - Using any Fire-type moves, including any support moves, as well as any move that has a chance of causing a burn, such as Scald and Will-O-Wisp, are banned.
Electric - Using any Electric-type moves, including any support moves, as well as any move that has a chance of causing paralysis, such as Body Slam and Glare, are banned.
Ice - Using any Ice-type moves, including any support moves, as well as any move that has a chance of causing freeze, such as Ice Beam and Tri Attack, are banned.
Some Reminders:
- If you break the above laws it's an automatic forfeit and you lose!
- Save your replay and send it to me as proof of using the same team!
- If you have not sent me your 6 Pokemon within 24 hours of this thread being posted you will be subbed out!
Aegislash:
- Aegislash is allowed for this round, but may be banned in subsequent rounds depending on the vote. If you have Aegislash on your team and it is banned, you will have to send me a different Pokemon in its place.

- Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot use any moveset on any Pokémon capable of intentionally causing an endless battle. Thus:
- A Pokémon may not carry Recycle and hold a Leppa Berry in conjunction with Heal Pulse and Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Roost, Slack Off, Soft-Boiled, or Wish.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Pain Split.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Fling.
- Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or or Minimize.
- Moody Clause: Players cannot use a Pokémon with the Moody ability.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold.
- Sleep Clause: Players cannot induce sleep to more than one Pokémon on the opposing team at the same time.
- Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
- Swagger Clause: Players cannot use the move Swagger.
- Baton Pass Clause: Players cannot have more than one Pokémon with the move Baton Pass.
