Game 1:
- The ref flips a coin (or rolls a 1d2, you get the idea) to select who is "T1" and who is "T2"
- T1 strikes one of the five arenas
- T2 strikes two of the remaining four arenas
- T1 strikes one more arena
- The round is played on the remaining arena
- T1 is first sendout
Games 2+:
- The winner of the previous round gets to strike one arena
- The loser of the previous round picks one of the remaining arenas
- The round is played on the selected arena
- The loser of the previous round is first sendout

- If this arena is chosen, the Trainer will send a PM to the referee. For each Pokémon brought to the battle, they will declare a type that is neutrally effective on the Pokemon (the type is not Super Effective, Resisted, or Immune). During the battle in Defiant Arena, the Pokémon is immune to the declared type.
- If this arena is chosen, the Trainer will send a PM to the referee. For each Pokémon brought to the battle, they will declare a type that is neutrally effective on the Pokemon (the type is not Super Effective, Resisted, or Immune). During the battle in Defiant Arena, the Pokémon is weak to the declared type.

- By default the Pokemon loosens its worn defensive armor so that it will break off when an opponent uses a physical attack, reducing the Pokemon's Defense by one (1) stage for each hit and increasing their Speed by two (2) stages for each hit. When toggled, no effect.
- This Pokemon has an immense confidence from perfecting each of its attacks, giving them all perfect accuracy as well as ignoring the effects of Double Team, evasive moves, Sky Drop, and evasive damaging moves. As a result, it feels it can weather every strike, and will not dodge an attack even if ordered to. Only when an OHKO move is issued by the opponent does the Pokemon sense return, and the Pokemon acts normally. Additionally, even with their extra skill, the power and exhaustion involved in using OHKO moves prevents them from being benefited by No Guard; they will have their normal accuracy.
- The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Light Metal assumes the maximum possible hits from a multi-hit move for the purposes of priority (e.g. Double Kick gets priority as it reaches 6 BAP, Bullet Seed does not get priority as it reaches 15 BAP).
