Looks like plenty of rocks will be flying around in this match! Without further ado, Engineer, send out your first Pokemon and give it an item, and let's get this show on the road!

1) Engineer sends out Pokemon and chooses item
2) smash sends out Pokemon, chooses item, and orders
3) Engineer orders
4) I ref
5) Engineer orders
6) smash orders
7) I ref
8) 5-7 repeat with the order of 5 and 6 switching each time

Engineer Pikachu, you're up!

Brave Bird, let's do this!

Taunt~Bide (Store)~Bide (Store)
IF he uses a protective action A1, use Hone Claws and push actions down (ONCE)
IF he uses Dive in any configuration that means he would be staying underwater at the end of the round, change A2 and A3 to Fly~Earthquake

Engineer and smash aren't wasting any time! smash opts for Brave Bird the Aerodactlyl, while Engi goes with Kame the Carracosta! Blindingly fast, Brave Bird uses Taunt on Kame, but Kame is nonplussed and simply fires a Supersoak at Brave Bird, doing some major damage and drenching him for the round! Rather than fire back, however, Brave Bird decides to Bide his time and starts storing energy while Kame recovers from his combo! Then while Brave Bird continues to store energy, Kame locks him in a torrential Whirlpool! Early on it looks like Engineer has a large advantage, but it's still anyone's game!

Great job, Kame!

Let's wipe Brave Bird out with the most powerful attack we have; it won't deal quite enough damage to knock it out, but our nifty little whirlpool will finish him off for us.

Brave Bird finally unleashes energy on Kame, but unfortunately the Aerodactyl didn't store very much energy and doesn't do a whole lot of damage. However, a Mega Brine from Kame definitely does a ton of damage, and while Brave Bird just barely hangs on, the whirlpool becomes too much to bear and he falls to the ground, knocked out. smash sends out his signature Pokemon, Hardhead the Aggron to get revenge, but is it too little, too late?

IF he uses a damaging Water-type combo OR a damaging Fighting-type combo that would damage you on A1 or A3, use Dig+Dig on that action instead

Hardhead digs underground, hoping to avoid whatever Kame has to throw at him, but Kame sees right through this plan and rocks the Aggron with a powerful Earthquake! Hardhead still strikes back with the Dig attack, but that Earthquake really hurt! Realizing that perhaps that wasn't the best idea, he fires back with an Earthquake of his own, but unfortunately Kame is better suited to taking those blows than he is, and the retalitory Earthquake from the Carracosta does more damage than his own. Then, seemingly having forgotten the lesson from the first round, Hardhead digs underground again, and Kame, despite being nearly exhausted, is only too happy to Earthquake Hardhead again, leaving him barely able to keep fighting as he completes his Dig attack. This one looks pretty much over. The only question is whether or not Kame can pull off the 2 for 1 or if Engineer will have to send out Aerodactyl to clean up.
