As for Keldeo, not only does it have Ice Beam now (mentioned in thread), but it also gets Psychic (also mentioned), Encore, and Vaccum Wave as moves.
And Belly Drum for mixed, or hell, even just physical sets. Close Combat coming off of 720 attack (without investment) hurts a lot more than Secret Sword. With investment it's a guaranteed OHKO on Skarmory after rocks, and Keldeo also gets Ice Punch from Poliwrath and already has Waterfall.

this is the best set:

Spinda with leftovers
Max Physical Defense EVs or whatever
a nature that fits your evs
Shiny: yes
ability: contrary
Level: 1000 100 (or you could use 1000 just to look like a good trainer)
- Close Combat (from ursaring) or superpower
- Draco Meteor (from normal arceus)
- overheat (from exploud)
- softboiled (from chansey)

The best set ever imo. It dismantles stall teams, it destroys hyper offense teams. All you really need is +6 defense, +6 special attack, +6 speed, and +6 spdef from quiverpass scolipede and you win. Look at these terrifying calcs.

+6 252 SpA Spinda Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 176-208 (27.4 - 32.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Yeah I tested it out and it's complete garbage (unless you run lvl 1000 ofc).

Pangoro and Scrafty both get some pretty awesome stuff from this.

Pangoro gets the punches, High Jump Kick, Dragon Dance, Fake Out, and Knock Off. So many options. So many Iron Fist actually being useful. So much Scrappy Dragon Dance High Jump Kick.

Scrafty gets Parting Shot in return, and isn't exactly going to kick Circle Throw, Hammer Arm, or Earthquake out of bed.

----

All mono-ghosts get Dazzling Gleam from Missy and Bannette, which frankly probably really only helps out Cofagrigus, who also likes getting Focus Blast from Dusknoir and Taunt from pretty much every other mono-ghost.

Doublade gets King's Shield from Aegislash, so it has something to fend off Knock Off shenanigans and make itself even bulkier physically now.

You forgot Head Smash on Aero.
Goddamn, never let Talonflame set up a BD, or it will kill damn near everything.

Talonflame @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Acrobatics
- Sacred Fire
- Brick Break

The only things that can counter it are Unaware Quag/Clefable, and even then Specially Defensive variants can be 2HKO'd. Normal types can keep it in check thanks to STAB E-Speed+Fake Out.

Coil Electrivire seems nice, especially with Cross Chop, Dynamicpunch (Ampharos), Zap Cannon or Thunder.
Greninja is extremely good with all the stuff it gets from Mega Gyarados. I'm hoping that Mega move transfers don't get banned just for Greninja's sake. :P
Ampharos gets Calm Mind and Aura Sphere from Raikou, along with Flamethrower (Manectric and Electrivire), Ice Beam (Arceus), Surf (Pikachu) and more. Oh and RECOVER! :D
Metagross gets Drain Punch from Jirachi for Assault Vest sets along with Fire Punch to deal with stuff like Skarmory and Bronzong and U-turn for pivoting.

Yeah, I'm quite sure I forgot many other things too (I had to edit twice because I forgot to check Scizor's compatibility with Genesect, Shift Gear Scizor anyone?)

I'm not sure if it would be that great but this would be fun in rain just to do it:

Moltres @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Calm Mind
-Hurricane
-Thunder
-Fire Blast (for STAB if rain ends or if Moltres needs to take on something weak to it earlier on)

I'm sure there's better options for rain but CM Moltres stuck with me there and it gets STAB on Hurricane unlike Volcarona.

Coil Electrivire seems nice, especially with Cross Chop, Dynamicpunch (Ampharos), Zap Cannon or Thunder.

Arceus only passes to pure normals now.

Virizion sounds decent, picking up Spore, and both priority fight moves from Breloom, and Drain Punch and Leech Seeds if you need even more ways to heal.

Compared to Breloom, it has 40 less attack and 8 less defense (more than made up for by the 30 extra HP stat and newly gained access to Bulk Up if you're so inclined.)

Cobalion gets Luke's movepool, including Earthquake, Nasty Plot, ESpeed, Vacuum Wave, Bullet Punch, the elemental punches, Crunch, HJK, Final Gambit, Drain Punch, Zen Headbutt,or Psychic, and more. How useful they all are is another thing, but Cobalion is faster and sturdier and they have the same ability.

In turn, Lucario can use a sword or Volt Switch if it needs momentum and Breloom gets a sword and... uh, Zen Headbutt to beat poisons?

These musketeers seem fun with 108 Spd and decent bulk.

That's just my guess though.

Techinican Needle Arm, Bulldoze, Bite, Pin Missle, Aerial Ace and Double Kick on Breloom sounds pretty cool. Chesnaught also gets Drain Punch and Spore from Breloom along with Leaf Blade from Virizion for a stronger Grass STAB move.

Medicham gets some cool stuff from Mega Mewtwo X like Earthquake, Recover and, uh, Aqua Tail I guess.

Light of Ruin Clefable is just beautfiul. Aromatisse might use it too with its high hp stat.

Landorus can use its Flying STAB for once with Acrobatics and can Defog and set up Stealth Rock at the same time. It also gets recovery with Roost.

Quoting myself from STABmons

Who wants to find out what a +2 STAB Tough Claws Head Smash (300 BP yo) off base 105 feels like? Like the physically bulkiest mon in the game is likely 3HKO'd, without a boosting item, and it RESISTS.

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Rhydon: 130-153 (31.4 - 36.9%) -- 80.8% chance to 3HKO

While not a relevant calc, as Rhydon falls to Razor Shell Crabhammer Razor Shell anyways, it does demonstrate how hard Head Smash hits. You NEED to resist Rock to not get crushed.
Misses out on Crabhammer, but dat Head Smash...

Misses out on Crabhammer, but dat Head Smash...
It gets Waterfall and Aqua Tail though.

Someone mentioned Manectric and the fact it can run Nasty Plot tailor its coverage instead to be forced to Flamethrower and lolHidden Power. It can run in fact Aura Sphere for Ferrothorn, Excadrill, Tyranitar and Heatran, Psychic for Mega Venusaur and Conkeldurr, and also is the strongest move against Ground-Flying mons. Giga Drain/Grass Knot for Tyranitar and Hippowdon, Shadow Ball for the Latwins. Flamethrower is not needed at all imho now that it has Aura Sphere. It can't get perfect coverage on every Pokémon, though, but actually figure its coverage will be pretty hard. It also sucks that Surf Pikachu isn't aviable in XY, since Surf is like the perfect coverage move for Manectric, covering all of Excadrill, Tyranitar, Heatran, Hippowdon and Landorus in a pinch.

Also i find pretty odd that no one mentioned Shell Smash Entei, Arcanine or Darmanitan, or even Magmortar, since they have an insanely strong STAB without drawbacks, pretty wide coverage choice beetween ExtremeSpeed, Close Combat, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Knock Off and Wild Charge for physical and Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Energy Ball, Scald, Earth Power and Focus Blast for special.

It gets EQ. 2spooky

Mono Water types seem to get just about every move ever made. for setup moves there is Shell Smash (Gorebyss), Tail Glow (Manaphy), Calm Mind (Manaphy), Dragon Dance (Feraligatr), Swords Dance (Feraligatr), Agility (Kingler), Belly Drum (Poliwhirl), Nasty Plot (Simimonkeydude), Bulk Up (Floatzel).

Setup moves enough but how about some coverage moves. Water types have Aura Sphere (Blastoise), Dark Pulse (Blastoise), Earthquake (even more Blastoise), Earth Power (Tympole), Fire Blast (Octillery), Energy Ball (Manaphy), Thunderbolt (Staryu), Focus Blast (Azumarill), Rock Slide (No Stone Edge but Blastoise provides Rock Slide), Knock Off (Kingler), Megahorn (Seaking), Psychic (Gorebyss), U Turn (Phione).

Want some support moves. Here you go Perish Song (Politoed), Wish (Vaporeon), Healing Wish (Alomomomola), Haze (Vaporeon), Yawn (Golduck, Clear Smog (Golduck), Taunt (Basculin), Tailwind (Suicune), Switcheroo (Buizel), Stealth Rock (Piplup), Recover (Staryu), Roar (Blastoise), Rapid Spin(Blastoise), Pain Split (Almomomomomla), Memento (Shellos), Heal Bell (Vaporeon), Defog (Lumineon), Baton Pass (Vaporeon).

Paraflinch Peregrine:

Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 84 HP / 252 SpA / 172 Spd
Modest Nature
-Air Slash
-Roost
-Thunder Wave
-Fire Blast/Taunt/Will-O-Wisp

Don't exactly see the issue, as there is lack ridiculous moves like Shell Smash, Sacred Fire, Tail Glow, Spore etc. among TM, HM and tutor moves. Moreover, the combination of pure Psychic types with wide movepools, such as Mewtwo, Deoxys, Azelf, Cresselia or Espeon would result in pretty similar move choice to that aviable with Mew. I've checked for good measures, and the only attack that no other Psychic type gets are Surf and Earth Power. There are some moves that aren't even brought by Mew, such as Hurricane and Psystrike(Mewtwo), Psycho Boost, Extreme Speed and Spikes(Deoxys), and Moonblast(Cresselia).

Oh god. Dragonite and Salamence now get V Create due to dat event Rayquaza. LORD SAVE US!

Also, Sacred Fire Flareon and Tail Glow Kingdra, Starmie and Politoed anyone?

Edit: oh god Yanmega now gets Tail Glow and Speed Boost and Ninjask can pass Tail Glow, Swords Dance AND Speed Boost. I'm terrified.
