Hey

There is a pretty standard and functional with those typings but will let others figure that out, lets do something fun.

Reserving medicham, tyranitar, scolipede

+
+

Medicham @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Fake Out
- High Jump Kick

Tyranitar @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 136 HP / 252 Atk / 120 Spe OR 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature OR Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

Scolipede @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance / Protect
- Poison Jab
- Megahorn
- Aqua Tail

Today I bring power and cool aspect ratio. Mega medicham + tyranitar are a profficient combo on its own since tyranitar traps or outright beat the stuff that can stop medicham from spamming its STABs. It also checks talonflame which is a general for mega medicham, then mega medi proceeds to press high jump kick and watch stuff out. Double priority mega medicham is great. Banded tyranitar cause I love seeing mega sableye get 2hkod.

Then a setup sweeper that can take advantage from the holes this wallbreaking duo leave behind so there joins scolipede which is a really neat cleaner that completes the core well taking advantage of weakened bulky mons and stuff. Just gonna leave the option of scarf on tyranitar cause it handles mega pinsir, gengar and latis better with that in mind but you will need something else for mega sableye. Keep that in mind!

Cheers!

Got my core. Wont lie this was decently hard. the sheer lack of poison types in the tier is annoying. gdi gamefreak

This is a fun core. What this core does is pretty simple you have nidoqueen which serves as a nice wallbreaker that beats pokemon such as clefable and denting other pokemon for some nice damage. Fire blast on nidoqueen in order to hit Skarmory which kinda walls this core pretty bad so this allows nidoqueen to remove skarm and allows bisharp and heracross to put in more work. Next we have mega heracross which serves as the main wallbreaker for the team. thanks to skill link and having pretty much the highest attack stat in the game heracross mega punches gigantic holes in teams while putting a ton of pressure on stall teams which loves the removal of skarmory while also breaking landot for the core. Last we have a scarf bisharp which serves as a revenge killer to outspeed things such as the latis which give both nidoqueen and heracross a ton of issues due to how this core is weak to psychic type moves. Bisharp also outspeed Alakazam which is also cool as well as some versions of talonflame in order to ohko them with a suprise stone edge. Even with bisharp psychic types and talonflame are pretty annoying threats to the core so bisharp just provides a decent way to revenge them.

Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Return
- Fake Out
- Power-Up Punch

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Taunt

Bisharp @ BlackGlasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 52 SpD / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit

This is a really solid and reliable offensive core (presume this is the "standard and functional" MrAldo mentioned). With her blazing speed, unresisted STABs, priority in fake out and boosting move in power-up punch, Lopunny terrorises offence, which Gengar struggles against, easily taking out the likes of Weavile, Bisharp, etc. In return, Gengar is a pain for fatter builds which Lopunny struggles with, taking out problem mons such as Clefable, Ferrothorn etc and cockblocking the likes of Chansey and Amoongus with taunt. Bisharp fills in the gaps, destroying bulky psychics such as Slowbro and pursuit trapping the Latis which can all trouble the core, as well as providing further priority with sucker punch for faster scarfers and item removal with knock off. 52 SpD EVs are to guarantee surviving a life orb Latios' HP fire after rocks.

Defensively, Gengar covers the fighting, ground and fairy weaknesses, Bisharp covers the flying, psychic and dark weaknesses and Lopunny also resists dark for Gengar. Gengar and Bisharp are also great at keeping hazards on the field, Gar blocking rapid spin and Bish punishing defog, and both Gengar and Lopunny appreciate spikes support in their respective roles.

Core needs a reliable Talonflame counter.

M-Venusaur / Hoopa-U / Terrakion

Venusaur @

Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Hoopa-Unbound @

Ability: Magician
EVs: 160 Atk / 98 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Hyperspace Fury
- Drain Punch
- Gunk Shot
- Psychic

Terrakion @

Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Rock Polish

This core actually works quite well together; Terrakion deals with the Flying-types that plague M-Venusaur, M-Venusaur helps out with Water-types for Terrakion and Fairy-types for Hoopa-U, while Hoopa-U breaks pretty much any stall team it faces, and gives opposing balance teams a run for its money. Terrakion can also deal with Offense quite well, since it gets ample opportunities to set up Rock Polishes; and if push comes to shove and Hoopa-U can't do squat, it can click Swords Dance and turn into another terrifying balance breaker.

Rain Offense

Toxicroak@Life Orb
Dry Skin
Jolly 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch

Keldeo@Choice Specs
Justified
Timid 4 Def / 252 SpS / 252 Spe
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Icy Wind

Sharpedo@Sharpedite
Speed Boost
Adamant 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
- Protect
- Aqua Jet
- Crunch
- Ice Fang

Some simple offense meant for Rain. Toxicroak absorbs Water and uses SD to break down slower bulky walls like Clefable, Quagsire, Gastrodon, M-Venusaur and Ferrothorn. Keldeo abuses its good speed and Choice Specs Rain boosted Hydro Pump to easily wallbreak. Mega Sharpedo acts as the cleaner that can do its job whether Rain is up or not. Speed Boost will put it in sweeper range and it was Water STAB for M-Diancie and Ice Fang for M-Altaria. Aqua Jet is chosen over Waterfall to protect it from priority and scarf user like Talonflame.

- Will-O-Wisp

Bisharp @ Black Glasses / Life Orb

Adamant Nature

Meloetta @ Life Orb
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 132 Atk / 144 SpA / 232 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Relic Song
- Psychic
- Close Combat
- U-Turn / Knock Off
This is a fun core that I first used on a spikes stacking team a while back (to be precice, 13 weeks ago for my first team with this core >:D) utilising MixMelo. IDK if this is cheating or not due to Meloetta-A being Normal-/Psychic-type, but I'll run with it anyway. Hasty is used over Naive to make best use of Meloetta-A's good special bulk. Also, your choice of U-Turn v.s. Knock Off comes down to the build of the team. Anyway, Meloetta is unique in that it is the only Psychic-type that is capable of acting as a soft check to Gengar, being able to switch in on a Shadow Ball due to its normal typing and then only taking ≈60% from Sludge Wave. This also allows it to act as a secondary way of handling it alongside Bisharp due to the latter's hatred of Will-O-Wisp and being outpaced naturally forcing it to Sucker Punch so as to not eat a Focus Blast. However, with the use of Aria and Pirouette in combination, as well as the presence of spikes (which Bisharp and Gengar protect from Rapid Spin and Defog, respectively), it becomes difficult to consistently hold off. In addition to being a spectacular wallbreaker, Meloetta-P takes a dump all over offense. I love the core of LO Gengar+Pursuit Bisharp due to how effective the combination is at spinblocking (although Gengar does need to be a wary of Starmie (i.e. pivot through and try to predict spins etc.)). For spikes stacking teams, this becomes very difficult to stop once the ball is rolling, and it can be paired with stuff like Spikes Scolipede, Defogless Healing Wish Latias (Roost+HW+STABs or HW+3 attacks) and slow VoltTurners to very quickly make dents in the opposing team.

Can I reserve, Dragalge, Heracross, and T-tar? Getting pretty late here so I'll update tomorrow morning!

Heracross @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Megahorn
- Facade

Sir Tea-tar (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream / Unnerve
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Ice Beam

A core of Dragalge, Heracross, and Tyranitar is what I present for this week's challenge. This core is two defensive mons focusing on checking things that threaten the main wall breaker: Guts Heracross. Heracross is weak to flying types, psychic, fire, and fairy types, so I looked into the next two types to see which would help heracross do its job. Dragalge is the poison type chosen, which has an excellent defensive typing and can put the pressure on some of heracross's checks. It can check Clefable, Mega-Zard-Y, and Mega-Manectric to name a few while being able to inflict some huge damage, or set up some t.spikes. T.spikes help bring in chip damage along with stealth rocks to allow Heracross to get kills where it normally wouldn't have been able to. For the Dark Type, Tyranitar patches up the weakness of flying types and psychic types, while adding another fire resistance. T-tar carries pursuit to trap the likes of the Lati@s twins, Stone Edge as strong STAB and to deal with flying type mons. T-tar is also the Stealth Rocker of the core.

Very Bulky Offense

Explanation: I have a great idea how about taking the second hardest hitters in the game (first is Medicam, scarfed Hoopa and life orb Gengar) and put them together in one core that actually complements other pretty well. Well first a lot of people sleeping Conkeldurr lately so I put him there and picked the other linebackers. As usually conkeldurr hits like a truck with life orb and sheer force and having enough speed to outspeed base 70 pokemon with ease most likely two hit OK because no one runs defensive Skarmory anymore (For some reason). Next is Mega T-Tar because I need to certain Pokemon that checks conkeldurr and sets up on. For example Talon, Lati@. Finally I saw that these two are weak to Keldeo so slap a Dragalge and call it a day where you just kill everything in its path that is weak to poison and dragon with toxic spikes to weaken the pokemon that checks it.

Venusaur and Tyranitar have a great synergy.
The first counters Tyranitar check, the second too.
Now they need a sure enter on ground types attack, from Excadrill or Landorus-T for example, when Tyranitar fights.

Last but not least Breloom!
He checks all kind of earthquake and hits hard or induce sleeping.
Tyranitar helps him against birds and Latwins.

Hi; could you maybe compact this, as atm it is both rather difficult to read and huge in size. Maybe try putting the descriptions+calcs in hide tags and using smaller images than the ones you have ATM. That'd make it much easier to read and much less intrusive to someone who is scrolling through the thread. Thank you!

ok, I'm sorry I'm a noob lol

Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Hawlucha @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Acrobatics
- High Jump Kick
- Swords Dance

So I decided to build around mega T-tar aka MuhDarudeNigga :P. I 1st added stone edge and ddance. I added amoonguss since mega t-tar doesn't like crap like hippowdon, rotom-w,slowbro,breloom, etc. I added ice punch for lando-t, gchomp, gliscor, mega altaria, etc. I added fire punch on mega t-tar to lure in ferrothorn, scizor, and skarmory. I added hawlucha as a ground immunity and to deal with mons like mega venusaur that stop the core and to sweep. This core appreciates mons like skarmory which give hazard removal and hazards and able to catch a draco and stop lando-t,exca, etc.

Mega Venusaur, CM Keldeo, and Chople Berry Tyranitar make a pretty good core. At first glance, Tyanitar doesn't look like it supports Mega Venusaur very well due to the fact that Mega Venusaur only has 25% recovery with Synthesis in sand; however, Tyranitar can remover a lot of the mons that threaten Mega Venusaur. With a Chople Berry, Tyranitar can remove Latios, Tornadus-t, Talonflame, Gengar, Latias, Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard y, and Alakazam, which are all mons Mega Venusaur has a hard time dealing with alone. Mega Venusaur supports Tyranitar by beating Keldeo, Manaphy, and Mega Lopunny. Tyranitar can also Pursuit psychic types for Keldeo, so that Keldeo is free to set up Substitutes or Calm Minds. Mega Venusaur switches into a lot of the mons that threaten Keldeo, such as Azumarill and Breloom, while Keldeo beats Heatran and Chansey. Overall, the core has good synergy and every mon supports and is supported well.
