Multi Gen Ubers Teambuilding Competition v2

level 56 I KNOW you cant just change the vote after the guy LIKED (omg!) your post, but I changed my mind and am gonna vote for half of two, even though modest palkia is a monster. eh am I? he does have ferro+pdon for kyogre which is a bit lame maybe on a palkia build but I just like that team so much more... yeah I'm gonna vote for it. I think jirachi+offensive groudon could also work nicely on that team, especially u-turn jirachi+palkia seems nice. half of two sry level 56

ps: oh and I think krau's concept is much much better but poorly executed altogether. double darks (???) make no sense because he only has exca to "deal with" xerneas and why would you ever need TWO darks especially when using twave palkia, youre not weak to arceus ghost. I mean I get it because he also has a defog lati, which seems to invaliate palkia's niche as offensive kyogre 'check' but whatever, so he would be more weak to it, but maybe he should have found a way to make that a mon that doesnt make the team even worse vs xerneas. also huh why would you not run pursuit on ttar it's the way you can make palkia do something because it's not checked by every mon ever. palkia+ttar is a great combo though, I just dont like the team but the concept behind it is (much) better than the other teams. I voted for level 56 because I liked that one the most out of the others, but still I didnt think it was the best thing you couldve done with palkia. though to be fair, there isnt really such a thing. it just seems like a lati would do better instead of it on that team but idk, it's pretty solid

Hey! Im Jhonx, i came here because i want participate on this competition and here is my team

I Picked Skarmory cuz it can damage EKiller Arceus and roost himself, i put him Counter for Pdon fire Punch and boosted things like Arceus, Ho - Oh, M-Salamence and Groudon, Rocky Helmet for Damage and Whirlwind can stop sweeps like Geomancy Xerneas (The Thread of the team) and more stuff

Clefable is for Things like Xerneas and T-Wave himself if he is boosted and Skarmory is dead and Unaware to survive their hits, he can wall Arceus and more, but if dont like it, you can put Heal Bell over T-Wave, but t-wave can help vs Dragons and Pokemon faster than Latias

Latias can 2HKO with Psyshock Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, the evs spread is to survive their hits (Ice Beam of Kyogre) and (Dragon Claw of Groudon), she can defog and heal his life and she can be helped with Clefable

M-Sableye is here with taunt to stop Deoxys S with Skill Swap on First turn when u have Prankster and Bounce the hazzards, Foul Play to check Offensive Mons and Recover for heal it

Kyogre Primal checks Primal Groudon with Heavy Rain and Rest Sleep Talk to stall the enemy, Scald can Burn and Ice Beam for Latias / Lugia / M-Salamence, he is the win condition of the team

Finally Arceus Water, I put this mon because it can toxic Primal Groudon, Latias, Xerneas, Yveltal and the walls like Lugia, i put this because he can wall Primal Kyogre if it dont have Thunder, i was thinking on Ground Arceus, but Ground is weak to Kyogre, this team is good, i tested it with good results, hope u like it

Skarmory may look like it overlaps a bit here, but I like to think of it as a Spiking extension of Lugia on this team; especially because it can absorb the most common way to bring down Lugia: Toxic. Specially defensive Skarmory was opted for here in order to take on Arceus-Water who would otherwise be a team bane if any other spread was used. It still retains its ability to phaze Mega Salamence, most Rayquaza, and E-killer, in order to help take pressure off of Lugia. Gengar is a very big threat to these two birds (Specially Defensive Skarmory needs Leftovers), so the unorthodox Chople Berry Tyranitar is used here in order to paralyze it or remove the the ghost entirely. Tyranitar also helps with Latias since it is a large threat to fire move Rock Polish Groudon. As an extension of Tyranitar, Diancie may seem like an odd choice, but with Lugia discouraging Groudon from using its STAB, it is a pretty safe bet that Diancie will take a Lava Plume or reflect a Thunder Wave rather be KOed by a Ground-type attack; it also stops Stealth Rock for Lugia. Air Balloon Excadrill also helps with this as soon as your opponent knows what the mole is holding, it is also the mandatory means of secondary Stealth Rock control for Lugia and is also the best Klefki switch in in the game which allows the player to make plays around the keys if need be. Rock Polish Primal Groudon seemed to be a natural way to complete the team offensively of the team since Lugia can always take a hit in order to get Desolate Land up against Kyogre, Swords Dance Excadrill helps break down Rock Polish Groudon checks, and it can carry a Fire-type attack for the ever so nasty Ferrothorn who is a bit of a problem for the team. The team was never meant to be Arceus-less, but it just turned out that way. xD

E: There are a couple of other ways to run the team if your opponent uses Darkceus in that you can change Heal Bell to Stealth Rock on Diancie, then give Tyranitar 72 Atk with Low Kick (the Dice Tyranitar). It is important to note that this does make the team much weaker to defensive Kyogre.

Taunt plus Toxic allows skarm to stop stuff like refresh mega mence/ekiller which would otherwise just last mon and setup to +6, taunt also provides additional utility in keeping hazards up vs defoggers like the latias. Spd sableye and ferrothorn do a good job at checking stuff that skarm is weak too like darkrai and pogre. The rest of the team is fairly standard with lo deoa providing pursuit support for skarm and ferro, arceus water being a standard ho-oh/pdon check and rest talk pdon a sleep/status absorber.

My submission ended up as a unique mixture between two standard sun builds (SD arc-ground/m-diancie sun and keys/m-sab sun). Obviously, the team started with Skarmory, which is naturally a good check to physical threats like Mence and SD Arc formes. The EV spread is custom for this team. The SpD investment allows Skarmory to avoid the 2HKO from Modest Latios Draco after SR 100% of the time while still giving it enough physical bulk to reliably take on Mence and SD Arc formes. Following this, I added Mega-Diancie and SpD Primal Groudon. Previous Skarm teams I've built are either extremely weak to M-Sableye, as Skarmory is dead weight against it, or are shaky against GeoXern, as Skarmory clashes with the most splashable Xerneas check, Klefki. Bulky SR M-Diancie helps immensely against M-Sableye teams as it not only counters Sableye, but also sets up SR very easily against it. SpD Primal Groudon serves as a reliable Xerneas check and makes use of having Diancie as a SR setter by running Toxic, which it can easily spread to Support Arc and Lugia. At this point, I needed primary checks to Primal Groudon and secondary checks to Xern and POgre, as both can overload PDon. The standard core of Phys Def Waterceus / Bulky Band Ho-Oh / CM Latios deals with these threats and more, so it seemed like a solid addition. Waterceus is able to run Judgment as Skarmory deals with Mence. The end result is a solid, somewhat standard team with no glaring weaknesses and better matchups versus certain threats (Mence and SD Arc-Ground in particular) than other similar builds.

damn that team struggles w. mewtwo but it is the coolest squad i've seen transpire in a while. nice 1 zf

u should totally just use sr pdon tho and a diff diancie.
