Which UU's to use?

So after perusing the site, I discovered the UU's and BL's in D/P/P were mixed together. Now, 99% of the time I'm an OU player and have no problem with this. However my friend challenged me to a UU match today, and the problem with this is I don't know which UU's to use.

Sure I could scroll through all 240 of them, but honestly, if I were to use some UU's (BL are ok too) what are the best ones to consider?

UU and BL were recently merged, creating "New UU".

There is a ladder on Shoddy. Throw a team together with any Pokemon. Play a few matches to scout the common threats. Read the development thread that is stickied. Go to the RMT forum and look at the UU teams. Many of them will show common threats in the descriptions. You will also be able to get ideas from them.

Heads up: Raikou, Spiritomb, Registeel, Shaymin, Staraptor, Gallade, and Hail are big in UU.

I don't see why this thread deserves a thread in the first place. I mean, you might as well ask the person to build you a team too!
