He meant the organizers may reset them. On that, just want to say I think that if the scores are reset to 1000 every week, many people will probably not bother participating anymore since having to go through the lower ladder every week is quite a pain and doesn't really prove a player's skill anyway. If at all the scores are going to be reset, 1500 or 1600 would be a reasonable score to reset them to.

yeah, i have to agree with rhaegar. ive gotten an alt to a decent baseline (~1700) so i can go for it next week, but havent really had the time to push for the top. would be pretty sucky to have to do all the low ladder again!
also in the uu LTI ratings carried over week to week :)

Yeah, resetting ratings ever week wouldn't make sense, as it would become a tournament of who has the most time to ladder during a week rather than a contest of skill.

There is no need to reset anything. If the same players end up in the top two the next week, then simply pick the next two below them.
