Your Favourite/Best/Weirdest Nicknames.

I don't like some complex nicknames, so the most ones I use are the normal name with added letter(s) or inverted positions. Or I try to keep the sonority of the name.

one example of each are...

Drugtrio (Obvious)
Sloworb (Slowbro)
Lady Lee (Cradily-Lucky triple flawless female)

Articuno - Doom Lad (Dont ask)
Weavile - Steve (Weave and Steve rhyme)

Also, I enjoy naming pokemon other pokemons names.

EX.
Weavile - Salamence
Snorlax - Jolteon
Blissey - Tyranitar
Garchomp - Ditto

I find it quite entertaining.

EDIT: Yeah, I used to have a Houndoom that ran Beat Up, and I used some of those nicks.

The only one of those I use right now are Dr. Rockso for Regigigas and Party Van for Swampert... I really wish I had a shiny Lickilicki... ;_;/

Absol= H4XX0R (cause of Super Luck)
Weavile= Twitchy(my friend named it)

Actually, this has worked pretty well for me:

Boah - DDTar
Specs - Choice Bander Salamence
...and so on.

It really confuses the opponent and it works really well in battles. =)

I've never used nicknames really - I've only ever used one nickname, and that was on my Empoleon. I'm a patriotic Brit so I didn't want one of my Pokemon being named after some jumped-up French midget. She's called Enjai. No particular reason, I just liked it. :)

My Slaking is named Nixon as he hits hard when he needs to and thinks pensively the next turn.

Anubis = Houndoom - Egyptian god, 'guide of the dead'. Human body, jackal head. Very apt.
Horus = Zapdos (with U-Turn) - One-eyed egyptian bird god. Liked it since I saw the mummy.
Sekhmet = Gyarados - Egyptian god of destruction. You know.
Blackjack = Absol - Since it's black, and fighting an Absol (and using it) is all a gamble because of Sucker Punch.
Omen = Steelix - This relates to how I use it. When Steelix comes in on your outraging Garchomp, it's an Omen that your Garchomp is dead.
Blur = Jolteon - Just relates to its speed, really. I think it's fitting.
Fishbulb = Snorlax - Simpsons rip off. 'cause Snorlax's fat / bald.

I usually don't use nicknames, but when I do I try to make them atleast semi-tasteful and / or intelligent.

Shiny Flygon = RaveGirl (someone once described shiny Flygons as extreme ravers)

Lucario = Luke/Skywalker/Luke Skywalker (shoddy)

Name fits in so many ways. Luke and Lucario, just namewise, are similar. Then factor in Lucario's jedi-ish qualities. On a similar note...

Electivire = BobaFett, shares Boba Fett's immense arsenal...
Blissey = JabbaTheHutt, cause she's fat
Staraptor = MilleniumFalcon, for being a bird...
Swampert = JarJarBinks, admit it, if Gungans were pokemon they'd be Ground/Water. And are kinda similar to Swampert.
Forretress = DeathStar, appearance really. Used to use a SpecsMence named DeathStar with the idea being any attack from him being the equivalent of the Death Star firing.

Yeah, Lucario was the start of a team with Star Wars nicknames for me too.
