I don’t actually put much stock into clever or flanders vote eod yesterday

Like a fairy, I think it was very confused what the avtual vote count was there and as mafia or town it’s likely they can just be voting to stop unloss

what actually happened happened but we have to expect mafia also wouldn’t want to lose

im not saying it’s a bad sign and nice voting laurel is good on paper obviously but wouldn’t overlook into it personally

i think the world that flanders was so on top of things that he saw that, processed what it meant, and moved his vote for towncred within the time it took me to write a <10 word post and see the votes - that world is so unlikely that both you and flnaders get very similar reactions from me w.r.t. moving votes

How has that changed wider game reads though? Who do you wanna vote today? If you’re giving Flandrs towncred it seems you’re not following town leader Tommy today (or bluedoom iirc also voted him who’s also leadering) unless you don’t think switching the vote achieves enough for him

Flanders has been bottom of readslist for the last 3 nightkills, all of which are wrong players k their own right

I also personally think there’s multiple reasons he should die independently

He’s just the best vote today imo, and currently we have the vote to spare and are in a good enough position to not tinfoil so this is a kind of easy enough day for me, I don’t see an endgame where flanders endgames

He would be my second vote option after flanders because he is the interception of in Poe but also completely useless for town mechanically, I do think clever is more votable by play but he’s also doc so if he’s town, and mafis want to let us wfiom it that’s great the, especially since whole celever exists we have access to infinite watcher now
 
I actually think the vote from celever and flanders is completely not alignment indicative, fmpov when I voted, it was a super hard reaction

there was you going “oh shit is that tie” then those two votes coming in simultaneously, making sure it’s NOT a tie with no minute to think

in that moment I felt like, oh look I might’ve just fucked the game, then those two reacting to my vote instantly and unfucking the game, there wasn’t any time for real thoughts beyond don’t let it tie

that’s how I saw it at least

I mean I do feel like you're ignoring a large amount of my content yesterday lol

I was fine with Laurel going over from the start of the day but thought it was better to push a fairy first because she's kept evading real pressure. My vote was p much stuck there because I still thought she was above rand scum anyway and the counterwagon of Flandrs didn't convince me. With countewagons going to Laurel / a fairy I had no reason to keep my vote planted any more, so I moved it to help avoid tie and because I scumread Laurel a bit more. I just didn't want a fairy's pressure to die by counterwagon twice by starting it myself lol.

Flandrs' reason for flipping I don't understand so much, but I think you handwaving my vote as "he had to do it to avoid game loss", especially when I didn't so you're also assuming I did it to avoid game loss incorrectly, is you being pretty frozen in your reads.

also a fairy's "oh shit is that tie" post happened at the same time me and Flandrs posted. At least I only saw it after I voted, so it's irrelevant.

what about the wagonomics of yesterday do you think makes it T/S a fairy / Laurel? I think S/S better fits your worldview of handwaving me and Flandrs, but you said you thought a fairy's town.

oh I didn't mean that in the sense that you actually did it yourself. you evaded real pressure because other people were non-committal with pressuring you (besides bluedoom who can't be here at deadline).

it's like tax. you didn't avoid pressure but did evade it because your hedgefund manager did it behind your back. one's a crime and one's a vehicle of class oppression :boi:
