Rain is Meta. This thing beats Rain and also forces the meta to add alot of stuff the meta really wants right now anyway (Real Grass types, fast offensive mons and bulky Dragon types)

Dedenne is a strong addition to the meta being both current rain's worst enemy and one of it's best partners. 135 Special Attack immediately puts it as having some of the highest damage output imaginable so far, and prides itself as a Fairy that can bully the shit out of Landorus-T and Corsola. Dry Skin makes it a bonafide hard counter to the likes of Poliwrath, immune to its main STAB and resisting another. Unfortunately, it's currently hard countered by Camerupt, one of the best Pokémon in the tier, and Nidoking one of the strongest breakers out right now (80 Speed really hurts here). It's also checked by Pokemon like Cubchoo and Mamoswine who outspeed and threaten to hit it hard. Interestingly enough, it may also bolster Armaldo's presence on Rain, since it can SD and do big damage to it.

Pivot set. Dedenne has alot of free slots due to the underdeveloped meta atm, but this set is primarily focused on clicking TBolt when necessary, U-turning out of trouble and if it has an opening, fire off a coverage move. Choice between VSwitch and U-turn ultimately boils down to how badly your Ground matchup is (rn pretty bad by default). Once you dexide tgat, fill out its movepoola with colorful options. GKnot is mandatory to be able to do any damage to Mamoswine on the switch, Dazzling Gleam is a secondary STAB that ironically is nit particularly good partnered with Tbolt rn, but can do some chip to stuff ig so its worth a mention. MPower can do big damage to Nidoqueen, and MFire to Cubchoo, but ou can't viably carry both.

Rain wallbreaker set. Rid the team of Grounds then watch as this Pokémon goes wild dropping big LO boosted Thunders off 135 SpA, doing big damage to most non resists. It's coverage is very lacklustre here but for the currently limited meta it will do, Geam is a strong secondary STAB, if its not deemed necessary Volt Switch can be ran, GKnit again smacks Mamo on the switch, and Mystical Power backed by LO is your best midground against everything else, giving you a respectful +1 every hit.
