ok look. An sd chomp is going to try and kill zong instead of switch, and block isnt neseccary, you imprison and hp ice his butt.

ALthough you do make a good point, heatproof zong with hp ice could just eliminate garchomp without imprison. o_O

Glaceon @ Leftovers
Modest
196 HP/ 102 Defense/ 16 Sp Atk/ 176 Sp Def/ 20 Speed
Ability : Snowcloak
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power {Fighting}/Shadow Ball/ Hidden Power {Ground}

With it's respectable defenses, Glaceon can make a good Status/Sleep absorber in UU play. EVs give max leftovers recovery, and let's Glaceon outspeed neutral natured Hypno. It also can take 2, Life Orbed X-Scissor's from Scyther, and it gets 3HKOed by a one Calm Minded Grumpig.

Using Ice Beam and Hidden Power Ground you can hit everything neutral except for Shedinja and Bronzong, neither of which you would have to worry about in UU play. Shadow ball should also be considered for hitting Hypno and Grumpig for Super Effective damage.

Is this viable/good?

Ice Beam and Hidden Power Ground would hit everything neutral except Shedinja and Bronzong I think, but it also hits Metagross super effective. Ice Beam and Hidden Power Fighting hit everything neutral except Starmie, Slowbro, Shedinja, and Froslass I think.

So Hidden Power Ground is an option.

I have two new creative and cool sets for hail teams! I actually got called a noob for using them because they are so effective... Enjoy!

[SET]: Abombaboah
Abomasnow @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Warning
Nature: Hasty
EVs: 60 HP / 64 Attack / 132 Speed / 252 Special Attack
*Blizzard
*Wood Hammer
*Substitute
*Focus Punch

Wow what a threat this guy is. Abomaboah! EVs give 336 HP for perfect leftovers recovery, the 64 Attack gives 236 Attack, which is enough to always 2HKO Suicune and every bulky water in the game with wood hammer. The speed gives 207, to make sure you outrun that same suicune. Focus Punch seems lol, but if you sub on the switch, Focus Punch will dent blissey nicely, and manhandle Tyranitar for a OHKO, for thinking he can control the weather. Blizzard is your main attack though, so the Special Attack EVs give it some nice bite.

[SET] Everyone's favorite pig got cooler!
Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Naughty
EVs: 64 Attack / 192 Speed / 252 Special Attack
*Earthquake
*Blizzard
*Hidden Power [Electric]
*Ice Shard

Mixswine. Still retains 343 Attack, and with a life orb, Earthquake hurts. Blizzard dents every physical wall in the game for solid to deadly damage, as its feeding off 239 Special Attack and a life orb. The speed gets the jump on all versions of Tyranitar, which is always a good thing. Hidden Power Electric is different on this set. With some Stealth Rock support, you outspeed and OHKO Gyarados without having to rely on Stone-Edges weaker power and accuracy. Ice Shard is always useful.

Enjoy!

Rampardos. ["Rex Raptor"] @Focus Sash.
Mold Breaker. / Naughty. [+Atk, -SpDef.]
252Atk, 192Spd, 64SpAtk.
[Earthquake, Pursuit/Stone Edge, Fire Blast, Rock Polish.]

EQ for Infernape, Pursuit for Dusknoir but Stone Edge for Zapdos, Fire Blast for Heracross, and leaving Rock Polish for a little more speed.

Inspiration: Roark's Rampardos, the nickname suits for it for those of you YGO fans.

Starter
252spatk / 252speed / 4hp
Timid - Choice Scarf

Ice Beam
Grass Knot/Psychic
Focus Blast/HP Ground/HP Fighting
Lovely Kiss

I have seen some Roserade Starter and some Gengar starter with this set, and I can promise you that this set is just as good as those, If not better!
Lovely kiss: have better acc than Hypnosis, so it works superb. And to start a sleep is perfect.
Ice Beam: to revenge kill all the dragons and much more! Works like a charm!
Psychic: is for awesome stab. But shud be replaced, so you don't be so easly walled.
Grass knot: is for the Slowbros, Starmies and OHKO Rypherion and hurts Tyranitar.
Focus Blast/Hidden Power Fighting: is to OHKO Tyranitar and Weavile.
HP Ground: is to leave a mark on Heatran and Metagross.
Timid Nature so she isn't outspeed by scarf Garchomp.

Not that creative, I know, but it is really good! Hopely someone gets this ^^

Glaceon-BOAH @ Leftovers/Chople Berry
Trait: Snow Cloak
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 SpA
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Roar
- Wish
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Like Vaporeon, with more weaknesses and a helluva lot more power. Basically, the idea is to use it with Spikes and Stealth Rock, and start Roaring and Wishing. It uses the offensive Ice/Fighting combination. Scouts pretty effectively and Hidden Power Fighting keeps Lucario, Tyranitar, and Heatran from coming in for free. Chople Berry, which reduces the effectiveness of super-effective Fighting attacks, is what I used to kill Heracross coming in for the Close Combat (so its defenses dropped), but Leftovers is obviously the more practical choice.

I'm not sure how well this set works, but I used it to decent success. Also the name Glaceon-BOAH is there just because.

[SET]
name: Insect Endeavor v2.0
move 1: Endeavor
move 2: Agility
move 3: Thief/Pursuit
move 4: X-Scissor/U-Turn
Item: Focus Sash
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpA

[SET COMMENTS]
Looking over the analysis, the Endeavor set deserves another look.

The first change is Focus Sash/Agility over Endure/Salac. It requires more prediction, but with more decent results. Endeavor if you think the faster enemy is attacking straight out of the gates, or U-Turn if they're slower. If they're switching, Agility up.

Thief is a major change (and obviously works with the Endure/Salac set), and should be the primary option over Pursuit. Pursuit has its purposes, but Beedrill won't be around too long. Nor will he be KOing anything with Pursuit most times. Stealing an item from the Pokemon that comes in after your pull off the Endeavor KO is crippling. Especially true if it's a ghost that switches in, and is unaffected by Endeavor.

U-Turn should also be considered over X-Scissor on a set where Beedrill isn't trying to bowl people over with pure power. The more team utility options Beedrill provides, the better.

[SET] "Mixdos"
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Rash
Item: Life Orb
EVs: 120 Attack / 136 Speed / 252 Special Attack
move 1: Thunderbolt
move 2: Hidden Power : Grass
move 3: Drill Peck
move 4: Roost

Played just like a mixmence, but not as much hit and run. This guy nabs some nice surprise kills on swampert and fighters, and with an insanely beefy special attack and Life orb, can leave things in a world of pain. Drill Peck covers fighting types and grassers, so missing HP Ice doesnt hurt much. Roost deals with life orb damage.

I usually give my Rampardos HP Ice instead of Thunderbolt. Unless you're talking about Gyarados, in which case Drill Peck is far outclassed by Aeroblast. Also, I choose No Guard over Pressure on all my Ariados sets.

If this was a Cranidos set, I apologize.

Neither, he's talking about Zapdos. =P The first hint would probably be that neither learns Drill Peck/Roost, or has Pressure.

Less-Bulky Gyara?
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Earthquake/Taunt
move 3: Stone Edge/Ice Fang
move 4: Waterfall
item: Life Orb/Lefties
ability: Intimidate
nature(s): Jolly

EVs: 20 HP / 252 ATK / 68 DEF / 170 SPEED

Just a variation of BulkyGyara. 20 HP hits 336 HP, perfect for leftover recovery; max attack is one point less than BulkyGyara's 350; 170 speed EVs allows this Gyarados to out-speed base 130's by 2 points(magic number?) after a single DD. Rest of the EVs in DEF. Jolteon switch-in? EQ it to death. Gengar switch-in? Death to waterfall(be wary of scarfgar). Life orb for extra power.

Priority Lucario

Lucario@Life Orb
Extremespeed
Bullet Punch
Vacuum Wave
Swords Dance
Evs: 252Atk/252Sp.Atk/6Spe
Nature: Naughty (+Atk -Sp.Def) OR Rash (+Sp.Atk -Sp.Def)

Basically, this is a Lucario that needs no speed, because all of its attacking moves are priority moves.

Normal, Steel and Fighting cover a lot of pokemon, and with no need for speed, the Evs can be focused on all out offense, with an Orb for even more power (need to beef up the BP 40 moves).

Basically, you switch in on something that fears you (READ: Blissey or other normal) and use Swords Dance. Now you are powered up, so while they switch to their fast pokemon to outspeed and kill you, you can reply in kind.

In a generation obsessed with speed, its very useful.

If all of it's attacks are Priority Moves, then why not use a +Atk -Speed or +SpAtk -Speed? It's not like it matters how fast you use Swords Dance except against a Taunter, but most of them are faster than Lucario anyway. Also, you would take those 6 Speed EVs and put them anywhere else.

Porygon2@Leftovers/Nothing
Modest
Trace
228hp/136def/144spatk
Magic Coat
Discharge/T-Bolt/HP Grass-Fight/Thief
Ice Beam/HP Grass-Fight/Thief
Recover

A little different from the standard set, this set is designed to be a lead, Magic Coating sleep leads, T-Bolt/Ice Beam for Dos/Dragons, HP Grass for Swampert, HP Fight for T-Tar and Weavile, Thief if you just want to cripple something, especially choiced leads, Recover is obviously for recovery, EVs can be shifted a little into Sp.Def for surviving better hits.

Heres one inspired by my 31 ATK/SPD Suicune.

245.png

Suicune @ Life Orb
252 ATK/55 Defense/196 Speed
Ice Fang
Waterfall
Return
Rest

When the Orb starts hurting too much, rest it away. Not very good, but I'm makin it anyways. What else am I going to do with a 31Atk/Speed suicune? The best part is, no one expects it, especially Garchomp.

Btw, if you want it, check my thread.
