not m2h but personally i think jalmont is town either way, his posts feel like tos ones, but if joey flips mafia i would feel better abt jalmont cuz as m2h said, it does feel kinda sheepy
My problem with a des or catfries vote is that voting them makes it extra random. You will never know if they are overwhelmed new townie or scum. Player with previous games are easier to read.
I think at least one of them has to be on the later but honestly they are top candidates for a d2 vote because it will be easier by then. This is why I think voting between redless-dbd-joey is a better option. Also my previous post about feeling bad is related not going to lie.
The way this thread has been where genisu, lechen and hh are universally townread, m2h is mostly townread and jalmont is only scumread by scummy players makes me think scumteam is mostly not active players other than maybe dbd. The issue in this way of thinking is that I'm being scumread by most players but I can make this line of thought because I have the additional info of my rolepm

redless made a total of one additional post in between those reads

i can definitely see low efforting scum pulsar in the 620s trying to get a vibe on the general reads of ppl to skate by making it seem like shes providing stuff but on the reread in the 700s realizing she didnt notice the redless general read changed and so does a 180 to try to blend in more

rereading saber i think he comes off worse than i remember, the thread entrance is fine, good even, but the rest is literally a huge nothing burger and he only ever does reads when prompted and his justification is "feels like town posting"

They are scum precisely because they are new. Targeting them on day 1 doesn't help much. When there are other people who also lack content or are suspicious and have previous experience.
However, I think the new players should at least try to post something to defend themselves or apologize. They are literally missing.
(I don't know if they've already done so, I'm about three pages behind)

otherwise flandrs redless read was excellent given the context surrounding but i dont like how he's flying under the radar when usually he feels like a high poster

The idea is not to consider Des as part of the towncore. It's simply to leave the vote for day 2 and see if there has been any improvement in their play style, as she is new to the game.
If there is no improvement and she continue to act reserved, then she can be voted out. But in my opinion, it's interesting to keep she alive today to observe their progress, see if she receive coaching, what kind of arguments she present on day 2, etc.

comparing d1s, in PMD, joey didnt make reads until midway through day 1 and even then it was a relatively safe (imo) tr on jalmont and the readlists he gave really didnt amount to much he never mentioned any of his reads again after that
here joey is comes right of the gate with a dbd scumread with good reasoning (imo at least) that he continues to push, and i feel like if he were maf here he would put effort more into superficially reading more people
is joey really pushing anybody tbh? he isn't even voting. he might express the read tepidly but he really is not involved outside of, as I noted, pandering to jalmont AND the dbd read plays into that.
