NOC Working Title Mafia (Game Thread) [Mafia Wins]

I can’t say I really deserve anything, I have been pretty poor today I’ll admit that straight up. But I mean I’m right lol, this is a hard game to read with a lot of people doing things that don’t quite make a lot of sense

I truly don’t think the theory that I killed Alice to try and force a Joey misvote makes sense. I’m basically never doing something “big brained” like that and I don’t think many people in this game are either.
 
Hi guys I'm on lunch break. I have some thoughts if anyone wants to know.

I personally think that catfries is scum and pulsar is being quiet and she didn't post anything recently which is odd to me.

I don't think electricitycat is mafia based on his posts. I think that because he's seems more town based on his reads.

Redless - he is giving me strange vibes.

I personally think Flanders is a little scum but townlean due to his thoughts. I'll update more if I see more postings from him.
 
read through and just want to defend myself a little: my lock vote was bc i was hellbent on catfries being correct to vote today and i wanted to do as much as i could to have that happen. i also was not as motivated as would be ideal to participate at a high level of activity and knew that.

i generally like these reads (in particular i think joey/jalmont as poe makes sense to me), although im not sure about redless/des/ecat. i think i don't want to vote them but come back to them if things go wrong with today's vote. the slot in scum they would take is either joey/jalmont's slot or catfries.

i think i bigly believe in gigabrain scum not letting catfries visit, its really not that much equity lost and the benefit is pretty significant if tracker is misled

Because it just makes sense in terms of how are you going to construct a solve otherwise. By that I mean, the main conflict yesterday revolved around you or DbD for the lynch. If you are mafia then suddenly that makes sense and we probably pair catfries with you for the late vote adding security to the vote which is really the likeliest world they are mafia. Otherwise I'm looking at jalmont because he came in the day sussing me/you which is EXACTLY what I would expect from mafia here particularly with the Alice night kill. To be frank, if you were mafia it would be an insane play to shoot Alice because that makes it much more likely that you get lynched because 1.) it confirms to me that your wagon was pure 2.) it heavily implies to others that either I am mafia on the wagon or your wagon was pure, creating an M2H vs joey conflict d2. When d2 started, jalmont was barking up this angle and in addition had the hard Alice TR d1 which means it makes hella sense for him to kill Alice there. I assume you are town if jalmont is maf but that nk already makes me lean you town.

If that's true I want you on joey tbh. It's the most helpful vote even if it's wrong because it clarified the gamestate.

But jalmont said he was town earlier. Plus saberslasher11 mentioned in a previous post that catfries could be mafia backup.

But lechen said earlier in a post he didn't visit anyone. Also Saber thought he might be mafia backup in an earlier post.

I still think pulsar is a better vote than Jalmont or Joey, I read ppl’s cases on them and I just don’t feel any of them ringing true to me. Judging by HyHy’s waffling it’s pretty clear I’m not alone on that (or it indicates HyHy scum but y’all ain’t ready for that). I’d also be willing to revisit Redless, his content has improved since I wanted him gone D1 but I still don’t feel particularly inspired by it to the point I’d actively oppose a vote.

M2H, I feel the exact same way about you that you felt about me during Smallstreet. Do with that info what you will.

Why do u think pulsar is better than jalmont or joey?

I disagree when you all say that making a horrible and nonsensical move makes you seem more town. I stand by the idea that it was a very bad decision on her part, whether they are town or mafia, it doesn't benefit anyone.
