So....what did we make this time?

Flavor: My Psuedo Legendary entry for this slate is based off The Raven and the First Man, a sculpture by Haida artist Bill Reid depicting the Haida creation myth.
According to the myth, the Raven, the Haida Trickster, wound up on Haida Gwaii's Rose Spit Beach. He was alerted by some sounds to a large clamshell that had little creatures dwelling inside, reluctant to emerge from their shell. With some coaxing from Raven using his beak, and their curiosity about the outside world, the beings emerged from the clamshell to become the first Haida people.
Raven came to realize that the beings that emerged were only men. He grew bored of seeing them play and exploring the world. Raven attempted to find women for the men within the clam. Finding a chiton, he opened one up and found little women living within them. He brought the women to the men, and enjoyed watching them and their behavior. They began to elope and move across to the other parts of the island. Raven never grew bored again with the humans and their families around.

Cue'Rvo is a tiny crow Pokémon with grey shoes, brown wings, and a wooden face serving as it's tail. It's said to be a sign of nature in Brunica, with people always bowing down and praising the glory of Brunica itself whenever one flies in.

Name: Caba'Llero (Spanish for Lord)
Evolution: Di'Os at level 54.
Typing:
Assurance - DARK
Beak Blast - FLYING

Ability: Dark Creation | Moxie
Base Stats: 63 / 77 / 55 / 75 / 53 / 87 (420)
Weight: 85.4 lbs.
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Icy Wind, Peck, Leer, Beat Up, Agility, Quash, Ominous Wind, Night Slash, Pursuit, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Taunt, Roost, Shadow Ball, Swift, Thief, Foul Play, Steel Wing, Nasty Plot, Acrobatics, Shadow Claw, Brave Bird, Swords Dance, Fly, Hex, Snarl, Dark Pulse, Air Slash, Assurance, Defog, Dual Wingbeat, Heat Wave, Hyper Voice, Knock Off, Pain Split, Snatch, Tailwind, Throat Chop, Take Down, Hidden Power, Protect, Frustration, Return, Double Team, Facade, Rest, Attract, Natural Gift, Sleep Talk, Snore, Substitute
Flavor: Upon evolving, Caba'Llero becomes a lot more like an adult raven, consisting of a black body with two legs that have two white toes on the end. A grey plumage extends from the back, while the wooden face is now attached to it's body, with two black wings on either side. The head consists of a long beak and a spike extending from the top. It flies over forests and checks how the life within is doing. Those that Caba'Llero thinks are a threat to the ecosystem will be destroyed by it's power over darkness to prevent any risks of the enviroment collapsing had that lifeform been left alive.

Name: Di'Os (Spanish for God)
Typing:
Assurance - DARK
Beak Blast - FLYING

Ability: Dark Creation | Moxie
Base Stats: 87 / 114 / 93 / 86 / 84 / 126 (600)
Weight: 285.3 lbs.
Notable Moves: Healing Nature, Storm Throw, Icicle Crash, Leaf Blade, Trailblaze, Wild Charge, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Outrage, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Play Rough, Icy Wind, Peck, Leer, Beat Up, Agility, Quash, Ominous Wind, Night Slash, Pursuit, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Taunt, Roost, Shadow Ball, Swift, Thief, Foul Play, Steel Wing, Nasty Plot, Acrobatics, Shadow Claw, Brave Bird, Swords Dance, Fly, Hex, Snarl, Dark Pulse, Air Slash, Assurance, Defog, Dual Wingbeat, Heat Wave, Hyper Voice, Knock Off, Pain Split, Snatch, Tailwind, Throat Chop, Take Down, Hidden Power, Protect, Frustration, Return, Double Team, Facade, Rest, Attract, Natural Gift, Sleep Talk, Snore, Substitute
Flavor: Upon reaching it's final evolution, Di'Os becomes a false prophet, worshipped by the fellow Pokémon of the forest who thought it was a harbringer of birth, not knowing that they are forgetting about the legends of their homes. From a black body, two tufts of grey fur extend from either side of it. From these tufts of fur comes two black arms with purple wave patterns on them, alongside a pair of long wings with brown faces on them. It's head remains the same as it's previous form, abeit with a purple stripe extending from it's eye. It's two long legs carry around a mysterious totem that resembles a clam, possessing a large face at the top, and several smaller faces at the bottom. People once believed that Di'Os flew across the skies to hide all that is dead, so that no-one could ever see or remember them again. Thus, some people called it "The Invisible Mortician".

It is accompyied by two pink chubby floating hands that have yellow spiral patterns on the front. Said to lead to where all food goes when consumed, many people have been rendered insane trying to see where the mouth leads, or where it came from: No-one has ever seen it's back.

Class: Exceptional Evolution
Name: Olytolax (Old Yellow Top + Snorlax)

Ability: Fur Coat / Bulletproof | Dozer

Weight: 2863.4 lbs.
Notable Moves: Snorlax's movepool + Ancient Skyslam, Bush Claws, Extreme Speed, Sky Uppercut, Headlong Rush, Mach Punch, Superpower, Upper Hand, Dual Wingbeat
Flavor: The calming nature of Brunica's forests allow Snorlax to rest a lot easier than before, allowing it's mind to clear out enought that it can evolve into Olytolax, who is based off Old Yellow Top and serves as a spiritual successor to Pokémon Snakewood's Skylax. Having changed colors to a dark blue, Olytolax's eyes and ears are covered by a long tuft of hair that vaguely resembles a Super Saiyan's hair, while the top of it's body is also covered by this yellow hair. It's arms are now longer, and the tops are covered by yellow hair as well, with two yellow tufts at the sides serving as a vague callback to Skylax's wings. It primarily rests on roads and forces people to take detours, allowing them to discover new shortcuts that allowed them to get to their destination much quicker. Because of this, it has been referred by some as "The Blockade of Inspiration", and it sleeps so soundly, not even a Poké Flute can wake it up now...which is probably a good thing, because it's grumpy rage is so powerful that mountains collapse at it's roar! Apparently, some scientists claim that it originated from a hole in the sky when people kept taking the same route over and over again. It had heard there was a buffet, you see.

Able now able to turn into a gas as well as a solid, it is has mastered all three states of matter, being able to manipulate them at will to make sure that people do not know of it's existence. It's tail has split into two, with a gemstone on each end, and it's head now rests on top of a large round gemstone with a cream ruff on the bottom. It's ears now have two extra ones underneath, and it's feet are now bright brown. Flavor: Despetion is one of the two Eeveelution evolutions to stand on it's hind legs, but only in battle: Outside of battle, it prefers to walk on all fours. With it's tail completley gone, Despetion's overall body shape is a lot fatter, having big brown feet and cream hands. On it's stomach is a bright yellow ring with a brown centre, and yellow rings now cover it's eyes. It carries around two chakrams that people believed could cleave the moon in half: Outside of battle, it holds them on the two brown nubs on it's shoulders. The blue area on it's head has turned into an icicle with a brown tuft of fur that covers it's eyes, while the diamond pattern on it's body has also turned into a large icicle as well. Tufts of cream fur, said to be filled with the screams of failed hope, decorate the top of it's now diamond shaped feet, as well as the top of it's tail. A bright brown tuft of fur on the top of it's head completes the look. Notable Moves: Glaive Rush, Blade Runner (from Brunica), Sacred Sword, Aura Sphere, Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Iron Head, Draco Meteor, Flash Cannon, Bulk Up, Dragon Tail, Outrage
Flavor (Required): Based off of Excalibur from the Canadian-made video game Warframe. The icy parts and red quills have become solid steel, and Baxcalibur's body is covered in gold filigree, calling to mind Excalibur Prime, an exclusive Warframe for people who joined the Founders Program many years ago.

EDIT: Changed typing of Frigibax and Arctibax to Dragon/Steel. The intent was to have it start as a Dragon/Fighting type that got slowly overtaken by metal, but I do agree it seems kind of confusing. Either way it doesn't really change the endgame (either a Sharpness mon or a Pokemon with 3 STABs).

It's tail has split into two, with a gemstone on each end, and it's head now rests on top of a large round gemstone with a cream ruff on the bottom. It's ears now have two extra ones underneath, and it's feet are now bright brown. It's said that each of Knowletion's gemstones contains a different year of history, and when it's eyes glow bright magneta, it can supposedly answer any question...provided the asker can understand what it is saying.

Having unlocked the full potential of it's hidden toxins, it is believed that if someone is struck by Despetion's poisonous chakrams, the town the person lives in is doomed for all eternity.

Notable Moves: Leafeon's movepool + Quiver Dance, Rage Powder, Silver Wind, Leech Life, Bush Claws, Steel Wing, U-Turn, Nature Power
Flavor: Sincetion resembles a beautiful butterfly compared to it's previous form: While it still has the tail and ears, as well as the tuft on the top of it's head, the leaf on it's body now extends all the way. It's six cream legs have green tips on them, while a pair of brown wings extends from the back of it's body. It's eyes always closed, Sincetion spreads a powder that makes anyone that inhales it more sincere. It's said that whoever can get it's eyes to re-open will see an endless menagerie of life before them.

Notable Moves: Glaceon's movepool + Foul Play, Shadow Claw, Hex, Nature Power, Imprison, Knock Off, Phantom Force, Poltergeist, Baton Pass
Flavor: Having perished amongst a violent blizzard after being betrayed by hope itself, Hopetion, contrary to it's name, aims to destroy all hope that exists. It's said to only appear before people who are about to perish in blizzards, and is a sign that hope has failed to do it's job.

Name: Lovelition (Lovely + Generation)
Evolution: Evolves from Sylveon after it has knocked out 50 or more Fighting-type Pokémon: Then level it up at maximum friendship while it knows Double Kick.

Weight: 121.5 lbs.
Notable Moves: Sylveon's movepool + Coaching, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Earthquake, Foul Play, Focus Blast, Acrobatics, Drain Punch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Bulldoze, Upper Hand
Flavor: One of the two Eeveelution evolutions to stand on it's hind legs upon evolving, Sylveon's friendship for it's trainer allowed it to evolve into this form. With a long slender body that has three cream buttons on it, Lovelition's ribbons now extend further down, with two additional ones decorating the top of it's legs, which now have cream tufts of fur above the feet. A bright brown tuft of fur on the top of it's head completes the look. It's said that when it appears, it is a sign that friendship and love in the area have been perfected, but in battle, it will focus on making sure that no-one ever gets hurt while it is around.

In addition, the Eevee line no longer gets access to Baton Pass or Stored Power unless otherwise stated (Eevee instead learns Double Kick at level 35) while Alluring Voice becomes an Egg Move. (Baton Pass's removal might be considered if the move is banned from Brunica OU)
Name: Evoboost
Type:
Acupressure - NORMAL

Category:
other.png

Effect: Increases the user's highest stat by 1. Changes the target's type to the user's type.
Flags: Snatch
Distribution: Type Balm Exclusive move: Requires Normal Balm and a Normal-type status move. (All members of the Eevee family can learn this)
Farigiraf's exclusion is because it itself is already viable as Trick Room support, and Eviolite Farigiraf is also something we don't need. Remove the line.
My feelings on eeveelution evolutions are still the same.
:sv/noivern:
Name: Tinozous (Tinnitus + Antrozous pallidus)
Intended Power-level: I'll just say Uber for now even though its probably closer to OU

Notable Moves: Noivern's current movepool + Dragon's Drone
Flavor (Required)
: Bats live in Canada (Tinozous is named after the native Pallid Bat), and Noivern is such a cool mon I just had to do something with them. No visual flavor yet (asides from being a Big Bat), but they are known to down prey (and the occassional trainer) by deafening them with their loud cries.
*Custom Elements:

Name: Dragon's Drone
Power: 90
Type:

Category:

Accuracy: 100%

Effect: 20% chance to Confuse opponents. Hits all opponents in a double battle.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Sound, Protect, Mirror
Distribution: Tinozous exclusive
As an Uber-isc mon, it's probably kept back by Wendora. The specific power-tier I'm guessing here is UUbers, but we don't have that.

You know the drill by now.

Farigiraf's exclusion is because it itself is already viable as Trick Room support, and Eviolite Farigiraf is also something we don't need. Remove the line.

Noted! It has been replaced with a still-WIP entry for a Snorlax Evolution, designed as a Spiritual Successor to Pokémon Snakewood's Skylax. I'm a bit curious, though, how did the other rejected ones get rejected from the list?

Permanent (Yes or No): No

Distribution: Just Turkiere for now
Justification: This grants a tool against stall Pokémon that inflicts Paralysis or Poison, increasing Turkiere’s Special Defense.
Base Stats: 105 HP / 130 Atk / 75 Def / 75 SpA / 130 SpD / 85 Spe (600 BST)
Height + Weight: 2.2 meters + 293.4 kilograms

Ability: Water Absorb / Sheer Force | Hydration
Base Stats: 150 HP / 90 Atk / 100 Def / 90 SpA / 110 SpD / 60 Spe (600 BST)

Name: Mind Lance
Power: 130
Type:
Dragon.png

Category:
Special.png

Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 8
Effect: Inflict the user with Telekinesis for three turns (immunity to Ground-type and Arena Trap, but always get hit regardless of Accuracy or Evasion) upon successfully hit any target. Anything that cancels Telekinesis does not stop Mind Lance from hittting their target, but does prevent the user from being inflicted itself with Telekinesis.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Protect, Mirror
Distribution: Beaugarn exclusive for now
Flavor (Required): Based of the Bewitched Canoe folklore, and also the various Loch Ness monsters that are said to be sighted in Canada. With an even longer body, it can carry a multitude of Pokémon and humans to fly up with it’s psychic-powered horn. However, if it or it’s passengers are in danger, it will attack with a fierce breath of ice.
Competitive Uses: While Lapras might be bulkier with Eviolite, Beaugarn have better firepower thanks to Sheer Force, turning their mediocre 90 Attack or Special Attack into legitimately powerful assets as a wallbreaking threat. Mind Lance allows it to destroy opposing Fighting-type without worry and provide itself immunity to Ground for three turns, at cost of making it always getting hit even by moves like Focus Blast.

The type change here is odd, to say the least. Why does it randomly go from Fighting to Steel?

Most pseudo-legendaries don't undergo a singular Ability change; I think only Snolobe's the only line that subverts that trend. Anyways, I'm just gonna recommend that you either maintain the same set, or change the other Abilities on Turkiere as well.

Some amongst these could be Brunica's pseudo-legendaries...
Ayecrusher King 's Protopogo line
Ubertrainer2000 's Cue'Rvo line
flareth13 's Brunican Frigibax line
Samtendo09 's Blurkey line
Ubertrainer2000 's Chori line

This is a ranked voting poll for our Pseudo-Legendary subs. The order of your preferences DOES matter, and your own Pseudo-Legendary cannot be your first nor only vote. You may vote for as many or as few options as you like, but we encourage you to vote as many options as possible as the more you vote for, the more points your individual votes will be weighted. The Pseudo-Legendaries will the highest amount of votes will be admitted in.

And one amongst these could be your Exceptional Evolution:
Ayecrusher King /Ema Skye 's Bouffalbo
Ubertrainer2000 's Lickithetis
Ubertrainer2000 's Olytolax
Ubertrainer2000 's Relition, Friention, Couration, Knowletion, Despetion, Sincetion, Hopetion, and Lovelition
flareth13 's Tinozous
Samtendo09 's Beaugarn

This is an unranked voting poll for our Exceptional Evolution subs. The order of your preferences does not matter. You may vote for up to five submissions, with counterparts considered as one vote together but that is not applicable. Each vote is worth one point; self-votes are worth two points, limited to one per user, must be accompanied with (SV) and permitted only if you have voted for at least another's submission. Failure to properly mark your self-vote will result in said vote being disqualified, and only the first five votes will be counted if you vote for more than five. The Exceptional Evolution with the top amount of votes will be admitted in.

This poll will be open for at least 48 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on forum activity.

Slate 13: The end of the Legend
:SV/Cresselia::SwSh/Melmetal::SV/Darkrai:
{Sub-Legendary | Mythical Slate}
The final slate of Brunica, we will be introducing the Sub-Legendary Pokémon, while notably less powerful and renowned than the mascot Special Pokémon, nonetheless are still respected in the region and pack a powerful punch. There are a few of dubious status who hail from regions unknown, and their presence may shift the ecological balance...

Last, but certainly not least, are Mythical Pokémon. Often cute, sometimes needs to be rescued out of distress despite their own hidden power (Cough :Celebi: cough) within the movies of the next generation, and most importantly rarely seen. Certainly good for a Sequel Hook for the next generation, yes? ;)

Sub-Legendary* Rules
  • Your submission must be a standalone single stage Pokemon, with a hard BST limit of 550-600 and two Abilities.
  • Your submissions must be part of a group, whether that be a duo, a trio or a quartet, such as Brazdo's Amorality trio & Loria's Disaster Quartet. If you wish to submit a singular Legendary, we strongly recommend that it relates to a previously existing Legendary group, such as Desvega's Tapu Zaza, or to a Mythical Pokemon, new or old.
  • *In the scenario of you wishing to submit something akin to the Ultra Beasts or Paradox Pokemon, your submission must consist of seven different mons, they must share at least one Ability, their BST, barring extremely specific instances (such as :Naganadel: being a 'Starter' or :Roaring Moon::Iron Valiant: being based on Mega Evolutions), must be 570.
  • Your submissions must share a unifying motif and/or theme; this connection must either relate to the Elders of Nature or contribute to the lore of the Brunica region, be it in the past or during the 'events' of the game. Failure to provide any sort of connection will result in your submission being automatically vetoed.
Mythical Rules:
  • Your submission(s) must have 600 BST. Anything that does not have 600 BST is vetoed.
  • While not required, your submission(s) can be a counterpart to the Sub-Legendary introduced. It can also have an alternate form, though its BST must remain the same.
  • As noted in the introduction blurb, the flavour | inspiration of your submission(s) does not strictly need to be confined to Brunica. You can, in fact, use your Mythical to campaign for a tiebreaker vote for an idea you have for the next Gen X region or gimmick if we do decide to have another region and you also decide to continue participating. (By that, refer to the precedent set in the voting section of the Gimmick Slate) Of course, you still need to explain the flavour for your sub, other it will be vetoed for this slate.
Name: Subs with no given name are ineligible to be voted.
Category: Sub-Legendary | Mythical
Intended Power-level (Required): Brunica OU / Brunica Uber
Counterpart(s): Write the names of the counterparts of the Pokemon.
Typing: You may use this link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Standard Ability | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST) These can be written in any configuration you want, the important thing is that it also fits with slate-specific and general rules. New pre-evolutions’ BST have to be lower than the original, while evolutions’ BST is usually higher; for regional or convergent forms, their BST must match.
Height + Weight: How tall the Pokémon is in Meters (m) + how heavy the Pokémon is in Kilograms (kg). While the former is optional, the latter is required for weight-based moves.
Notable Moves: List the moves that this Pokémon will learn, both viable and flavor moves, though the former is more important. Once your submission is voted in, you will create a full movepool for it in the discussion phase.
Flavor (Required): Describe the lore/flavor/design of your Pokémon.
*Custom Elements:
Name: Try to use distinct combinations of words never used before for moves in Pokémon games, double-check on Showdown or Serebii.
Power: [Base Power of the Move, should be a multiple of 5]
Type: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png
Category: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/categories/Category.png (Physical, Special or Status)
Base Power: try to balance this, PP, effect and accuracy; only multiples of 5 are allowed as values.
Accuracy: write -- if it ignores accuracy and evasion checks; must be multiple of 5
Power Points: specify just the max PP if you want; eligible values are 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64.
Effect: What the move does, including how many targets. Note that while custom elements are allowed, they should be distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of SV and/or Desvega, and are relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new (Poison) terrain in Desvega and a 'Primal Reversion' terrain in Lutakon. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Priority: (Optional) The priority bracket of the move. Unless specified, it is assumed to have the standard priority of 0.
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): [Specify which flags the move has. A full list can be found in the spreadsheet.]
Distribution: Specify if the move is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted move.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing move, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Move you suggested only, not to any similar Moves. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Move introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.

Ignorable (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability is ignored by Mold Breaker]
Distribution: Specify if the Ability is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted ability.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Ability, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Ability you suggested only, not to any similar Abilities. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Ability introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: [Name of the item]
Effect: [What the item does, these should not be similar to any existing and relevant competitive items]
Can Be Removed (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item can be stolen or Knocked Off)
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item's effect is ignored by Klutz)
Fling Power & Effect: (The BP of Fling when used with this item and what secondary effect it could additionally have, like :Light Ball: causing paralysis)
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Item, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Item introduced in a previous Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.

The final slate will last for 240 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on forum activity. On that note, don't try to rush all your ideas as early as you can, stop to think and refine your submissions. Remember, just because you think it's a good idea, does not equate to everyone thinking that it's a good idea.

Good luck to all. o7

....So, this is it...the final slate of Brunica. And, you know what they always say....
...Save the best for last!
My entries will consist of one two Minor Legendary groups and four three event Mythicals...and this time, they are not coming all at once. (However, all five of them are now successfully finished and ready for the big day!) Their flavour are shown in both their submission entries and as a brief description about the groups as a whole above each entry. The intention is that I followed in the footsteps of the fellow users, and adapted to their style. Good luck!

The darkest hunger befell the land...the coldest heart froze over the world. In their endless clashes, their sheer despair caused chaos among the land...When Lukaton breathed life upon the land to stop the clash of Akulut and Kaiwakaw, the stars themselves were given life as well. In their vast glory in a quest to help spread the life bestowed by Lukaton among galaxies, these stars chose to inhabit the souls of the warriors of other planets, where monsters were raised just like Pokémon. Choosing what they thought were the best monsters of each planet, they drew upon their greatest desires and hearts to provide the region with protectors when Lukaton's blessing started to wear off. Therefore, a new species of Pokémon that combines the might of a new dimension with the heart of the type balms themselves...was born. Behold....the Dimensional Stars.

Unifying factor: All of the Dimensional Star's stats are Pronic numbers.

In the distant past, every 10th month, a pair of haunted monsters would ride over Brunica to spread terror on every corner. These musty fears would make the horror of Akulut spread across the land, creating horrors beyond every eye can see. One represented the "Tricks" of this terror, while the other represented the "Treats". But some people saw this as an opportunity to turn the terror into a special festival, to prove that these Pokémon are not monsters at all, but rather a sign of endless fear that everyone must conquer. And so, the tradition of Halloween was born...they return from the Supernatural Slate to here, this time being a Mythical mutation of a Pumpkaboo...

Flavor: Dracuburr resembles a classical vampire with a Jack-O-Lantern head. From a body that wears a necktie around it, this Jack-O-Lantern head goes on the top, wearing a top hat with an orange stripe, alongside bright green hair. Two arms with white cuffs and orange hands extend from either end of the body, with a green cape shrouded around it's body. From a green belt with an orange jack-o-lantern symbol serving as the buckler, two legs with orange feet extend from them. At it's side are two bat-like shadows with red eyes, noses, and fangs that serve as it's companions. Using these shadows, Dracuburr can drain the lifeforce out of a person and turn them into a husk without them ever noticing any pain at all. It's said to be the embodiment of "Trick" by some, and even the slightest glimpse of it can make you scared of everything for the rest of your life!

Flavor: This Pokémon resembles an adorable witch! From it's body which is decked with an orange bow tie, a pumpkin seed head goes on the top, wearing a witch's hat and bright green hair. It's two arms have green cuffs and white hands, with one of them carrying an umbrella with a pumpkin design that it can not only use to shield itself from attacks, but can also ride like a magical broomstick. Two black legs with orange shoes extend from a pumpkin dress with a face carved onto it, which attaches itself to the bottom of the body to complete the look. Claimed by some to be the embodiment of "Treat", this Pokémon playfully flies across on it's broom, turning everything it sees who does not give it their most valuable possessions into a pumpkin.

Deep within Brunica lies the Scrooge's Lake, a huge lake inspired by the Grand Lake of New Brunswick which is claimed by some as "The Perfect Lake". When the lake stayed warm when Kaiwakaw froze over the land, the people came to it to bathe in it's glory. The lake is managed by three Pokémon who can manipulate different aspects of time to keep the lake as clean as possible, but if you dare to defy the lakes, it'll be the last thing you'll ever see....This trio of Pokémon and their master are inspired by two main factors: The three mythical creatures of Canada those name contains "Lake Monster", and the ghosts of a Christmas Carol! So, welcome forth...the Monsters of Chronology.

Unifying factor: All of their stats are multiples of 19, reflecting the date of which a Christmas Carol was published: The 19th of December, 1843.

On 22 August 1972, the Victoria Daily Times reported that two local teen boys claimed to have seen a creature with "silvery scaled skin, sharp claws, and spikes on its head" while swimming at Thetis Lake beach in the evening. The newspaper reports described the creature as roughly resembling the Gill-man from the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigated, but could find no evidence. Two other boys fishing on the opposite shore of the lake claimed to have also seen the monster. However, when writer Daniel Loxton contacted one of the individuals years later, he admitted they had fabricated the story to get attention.
Loxton discovered that the boys description of the scaly monster – which specified a sharply pointed head and large, ear-like gills — exactly matched that of the monster featured in the film Monster From The Surf, which had aired on local television a few days prior to the boy's claimed sighting. According to Loxton, "local TV had shown a movie about a scaled humanoid gill-man attacking teenagers at the beach after dark. Four days later, local teenagers reported being attacked at the Thetis beach after dark by a scaled monster."
Pasatis resembles the Gill Man descirbed this way, abeit with a long tail with a fin on the end, and a bright blue leyline that goes across it's whole body, which ends at a ring at the top of it's head. It uses these leylines to show anyone that gazes into the Scrooge's Lake their past, and how the mistakes within there could be fixed today.

In Canadian folklore, the Turtle Lake Monster is an entity purportedly inhabiting Turtle Lake, in West Central Saskatchewan, Canada. The monster is usually described as a creature 3–9 metres long, scaly or smooth, with no dorsal fin and a head resembling a dog, a seahorse, or a pig. Natives are said to be nervous about the attention the Monster might bring and say its simply a massive Sturgeon that left his home and lives in Turtle Lake. About once a year someone claims to have had an encounter with the beast.
Turasent draws inspiration from this myth, resembling a large Plesiosaurus with a giant turtle shell with blue leylines going through it. It's flippers each have a two-clawed foot on the end, and it has a wide red tail coming out of the shell. On top of a long neck, a head with a ponytail of orange and red hair extends from the back, and it wears a black top hat with a red stripe. It can show anyone it meets their present at the moment, and how they can fix any mistakes that they ignored on their usual life.

Flavor:
The Trout Lake Monster is an animal claimed to inhabit Big Trout Lake in northern Ontario. In 2010, photographs of an unidentified carcass prompted Internet speculation of a "mystery creature" and retellings of local First Nations legends of an animal said to presage bad news. According to a University of Toronto professor, the animal carcass was likely an ordinary mink in a state of decomposition.
In homage to this above myth, Mitrouture resembles a decaying mink with only it's front legs still visibile, the back being consumed by a grey shroud which seperates the body with a jagged cloak. Blue leylines decorate all of the areas of it's body except the grey shroud, which shows anyone that sees them their future, though most of the time it is always of the viewer's grave. This horrifying realization makes the viewer vow to make up for their weaknesses, though it is still unknown if Mitrouture actually shows the future at all.

It consists of a large long yellow body that the arms are attached to, as well as a pair of giant wings with leylines on them. A shrouded ruff makes up the bottom of the body, while it's head has multiple tentacles and two bright red eyes with a third one that gazes into a person's life being on the middle of the head, much like Cthulhu.

When Lukaton sealed itself away to calm the rampaging Legendary Pokémon, he left behind one parting gift to allow the Pokémon of the region to fight back against them once their destructive instincts return, infusing the region with it's natural beauty, unknown to anyone but itself. Hidden within each Pokémon in the region is a special power that allows them to truly awaken the genes within them which were once sealed away by it's own evolution for being too much for nature to handle normally, enabling for unexpected powers that even the two Legendary Pokémon did not expect.
Well, that's what one theorist claims. The discovery of Type Balms, and therefore, the true power that Lukaton unleashed, made the above story a phony...or so it seemed. A rat Pokémon that had an impossible evolution in the form of chaingun arms seemingly confirmed that the power, known as "Ancestrality", was indeed blessed onto some Pokémon. Whether it was a prototype of the Type Balms, or an initial idea, is still unknown....

A common Brunica folklore belief claims that great fortune always lies where the Mythical Pokémon, Girachi, appears. Said to have been an ordinary golden nugget blessed by Lukaton's parting gift, wherever this Pokémon is, there is always a treasure trove of gold, which brings forth prosperity in the town that manages to find them. This often leads to many miners and prospectors going on a massive gold rush to try and get the gold before anyone else can. In fact, some people claim that this Pokémon is the heart of gold itself, as it appears in areas that are lacking in fortune, and showers them with gold and glory. Despite it's resemblence to the Wish Maker, Jirachi, Girachi is in fact a separate species.

Flavor: Despite this Pokémon looking like Jirachi, it is in fact a separate species. More notably, it's head becomes a long jaw with one of the notes becoming it's new cyclopitical eye, with the other two becoming gold nuggets. In addition, the eye on it's stomach is now a golden nugget that never seems to dull at all, and is said to be how it brings forth gold upon the land. It's partially inspired by the Klondike Gold Rush, and if it appears at a mine, it is a sign that it will bring great fortune until the end of time.

Flavor (Required): Based on the Mannegishi from Cree folklore, who are said to live near springs, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. A brother-in-arms to Lutakon, they assisted it in helping villagers from dealing with strong wild Pokémon and invaders alike in ancient times, as much as it would prefer to flee into the waters. When Akulut and Kaiwakaw's clashes threatened Brunica, Lakegishi had cowardly hid away, something that's said to be the cause of its tear-strained face. In the eras after Lukaton's sacrifice, it and Lakegishi worked tirelessly to restore the region, with Lakegishi breaking apart glaciers to introduce new water sources. Rumors speak of it watching over the waters around Brunica to warn against Akulut's return.
Their designation of Harvester Duo comes from the Canadian definition of Domestic Harvesting: Lakegishi refers to the 'fishing' part, hinted by its preference to hid in the waters.
In game, Lakegishi is a Roaming Pokemon encountered by Surfing; this refers to Sharpen42's original idea of it evolving from a shared pre-evo by level up while on water / Surfing. I entertained the idea of giving them the Fairy-type, then Pixilate, but I decided to make them a single type to match Lutakon. Additionally, the Sprites incorporate Samtendo's gimmick concept of the Soul Gem: I elected for the newer Hydrosynthesis for Lakegishi's Ability than their intended Thick Fat because, well, Mannegishi are rather slim, and it still references the other effect Samtendo intended. Grass Pelt is their way to commemorate Lukaton's sacrifice, in vein of Zarude's Leaf Guard.

Flavor (Required): Based on the Pukwudgie from Wampanoag folklore, who are said to dig the ground and hide under the soil. A brother-in-arms to Lukaton, Plowudji assisted it in helping villagers from dealing with strong wild Pokémon and invaders alike in ancient times, as much as it would prefer to turn its brute force upon them instead. When Akulut and Kaiwakaw's clashes threatened Brunica, Plowudji would foolishly try to intervene and get curb-stomped. In the eras after Lukaton's sacrifice, it and Lakegishi worked tirelessly to restore the region, bringing in topsoil and plowing open fields for plants to grow. Rumors speak of it watching over the lands, careful to stop Kaiwakaw's return.
Their designation of Harvester Duo comes from the Canadian definition of Domestic Harvesting: Plowudji refers to the 'Hunting' part, hinted by its more blood-knight tendencies.
In-game, it's a Roaming Pokemon encountered in a cave, somewhere close to a town of a Ground-type Gym Leader or Elite Four; this refers to Sharpen42's original idea of it evolving from a shared pre-evo by level up in a Cave. I entertained the idea of giving them the Fairy-type, then Pixilate, but I decided to make them a single type to match Lutakon. Additionally, the Sprites incorporate Samtendo's gimmick concept of the Soul Gem: Plowedji has Unaware, as intended, though if Legendary Pokemon had three Abilities, it might have had Run Away as well. Flavor (Required): Brunica's lore did mention Unova as its neighbour, which I recognised a bit too late that we don't have as many Unovan Pokemon that reflects that, something that I'll hopefully rectify once DLC comes along. Anyways, it's primarily based on the concept of fengshui, which, while primarily more culturally significant in Asia, have been used to locate historical sites in Canada. I have a personal rule that all my submissions should be related to the region's inspirations, and fortune favours me to say it is also loosely inspired by the Jiibayaabooz, a rabbit-themed trickster spirit with obsession with the manitous, the spiritual life force of the world as believed by the Algonquians, with a dash of snowshoe hare thrown in. (Victini's design is rabbit-like, and its infamous illegal Shiny is white. The Snowshoe hare can be found from Alaska to California, where our previous region Desvega which Luctini was first proposed takes place) Make with that what you will).
In its native region Jiaquo in the East, Luckini is a trickster said to be the very embodiment of luck itself, altering probability to its very whim like the winds it travels with. Trainers who have befriended it will find their endeavours to be as satisfyingly fortunate as they wish, while those who have earned its ire will be frustrated beyond belief. In fact, the probability of it first being in Brunica, under normal circumstances, is near impossible... but hey, Victini got number 1 in the dex, and you know what else is better than being first in your own region's dex?

Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Ignorable (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Exclusive to Luckini

  • Luckini's original design can be seen here; my interpretation differs with that one by having the pant-fins being on the arms like cape-like wings, a more jagged grin like a voltage symbol, having Pig-Dragons (a type of jade carving, in this case) earings, and the 'jester hat' is instead a Zhanjiao Putou - a type of Futou | Chinese scholar hat worn by Ming Dynasty civil officials at court assemblies when they would present memorials or retirement notices to the Ming rulers - with strings of jade instead. The mismatch here is intentional, based on Fuyao, which is in layman's terms, is how certain fashion styles can bring bad luck.
  • Related to the above, the fact it's white is also significant: white symbolises death in Chinese culture, and Jiibayaabooz became the "Chief of the Underworld" after it suffered an early death; if you'd like to check out the currently unofficial and to be updated slightly lore of the Legendaries of Jiaquo | the East, you might understand the implied significance in-universe. It's not a Ghost-type, much as that would also make sense, because we introduced quite a few Electric/Ghosts here already. I elected for Fairy as the other interpretation for 'spirit', and Electric as a carryover and the other interpretation for energy.
  • Its stats are multiples of 9. As anyone who's done research on the background of Pecharunt and its Loyal Three, 8 is a lucky number, and nine in Chinese is an even more auspicious number, utilised by Emperors. 5 itself is also considered auspicious to a degree.
  • Among its coverage is Grass {Wood}, Fire, Ground {Earth}, Steel {Metal} and Water - also known as the Five Agents. Its Flying-Type coverage and the Ability name is a pun on Flying Star Fengshui, Fengshui literally translates as Wind-Water, the concept of 'Winds of Destiny', and well Avatar the Last Airbender to a limited degree, even if Air is not part of the Eastern Elements.
  • Lucky Star is reinterpreted as a reference to the Three Star Gods, or Sanxing, who each represent fortune, prosperity and longevity.
  • Fengshui is literally Chinese Geomancy, so it would be a sin not to give it that, and is also why it learns Aura Sphere. It's also why I have given it few boosting options otherwise, because Xerneas has taught us well.
  • Luckini's original move was called L-generate; while faithful to V-create, felt off. I assume everyone knows what L+ratio is; the effect here is essentially an inverted critical Ominous Wind with boosted odds and PP.

Loosely based on Glooscap in Mi'kmaq folklore, often considered a hero who is credited for many things in several different stories. Apparently appointed as a caretaker of Brunica, Magesym upholds its duty and keeps a stern watch on potential threats to the region. Loosely based on Malsumis, the twin brother of Glooscap in Mi'kmaq folklore who is (sometimes) considered a malevolent being who actively chooses to cause chaos. Apparently appointed as a caretaker of Brunica. While it is said that Manasym rejects its rightful duty, some believe that Manasym watches in the night, raining vicious punishment on those who scheme against Brunica.
Potential Competitive Role: Bulky Physical Attacking Pokemon
Updated Effect: Raises the corresponding defensive stat in addition to its current effect.
Ex: [User Pokemon] was alerted to the [Opposing Pokemon]'s [Move]! [User Pokemon]'s Defense rose! (if the detected move is physical) or [User Pokemon]'s Special Defense rose! (if the detected move is special)
Reasoning: Forewarn is currently a weak ability that is on 3 Psychic-type families, and I think it makes sense for a Pokemon with pre-cognition to prepare accordingly if a threat is known.
Distribution: Psychic types and other Pokemon that may be able to see the future.

Grass Pelt is their way to commemorate Lukaton's sacrifice, in vein of Zarude's Leaf Guard.

In its native region Jiaquo in the East, Luckini is a trickster said to be the very embodiment of luck itself, altering probability to its very whim.
*Custom Elements:
Base Power: 90
Type: Fairy
Category: Special
Accuracy: —%
Power Points: 16
Effect: Has a 20% chance to lower the target(s) stats (excluding accuracy | evasion ) by one stage. This move is either physical or special - whichever will inflict more damage. {Same as Shell Side Arm}
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Defrost, Mirror, Wind
Distribution: Exclusive to Luckini
Effect: increases the critical hit ratio of the Pokémon and its allies in battle by two stages. If the Pokemon and its allies strike a critical hit, the damage is increased by 1.5×. The effects of Lucky Star can stack and does so multiplicatively (which means if there are two Luckini on the field, Critical hits will now effectively do about 3.37× damage).

Name: Magesym ("Magic", "Majesty" + Taking the first 3 letters from "mystic", pronounced "MA-ge-seem")
Gender: Male
Counterpart:Manasym
Intended Power Level: Brunica OU

Type:
Ground + Psychic
Stats: 120 HP / 100 Atk / 85 Def / 115 Sp.Atk / 90 Sp.Def / 70 Speed (Total: 580)
Abilities: Forewarn*
Moves: Earthquake, High Horsepower, Stomping Tantrum, Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Psycho Cut, Zen Headbutt, Future Sight, Psychic, Psyshock, Calm Mind, Gravity, Magic Room, Teleport, Trick Room, Morning Sun, Heat Wave, Stealth Rock
Description: Magesym is a mammalian Pokemon that incorporates the features of multiple mammals (primarily of lynxes/bobcats and stoats). It is quadrupedal but can stand on its hind legs if needed to use its front paws. Loosely based on Glooscap in Mi'kmaq folklore, often considered a hero who is credited for many things in several different stories. Apparently appointed as a caretaker of Brunica, Magesym upholds its duty and keeps a stern watch on potential threats to the region. It is said that it will not hesitate to give its life in service of Lutakon and Brunica.
Potential Competitive Role: Bulky Special Attacking Pokemon
Name: Manasym ("Mana", "Mania" + Taking first 3 letters from "mystic", pronounced "MA-na-seem")
Gender: Male
Counterpart: Magesym
Intended Power Level: Brunica OU
Type:
Dark + Psychic
Stats: 100 HP / 120 Atk / 90 Def / 85 Sp.Atk / 70 Sp.Def / 115 Speed (Total: 580)
Abilities: Forewarn*
Moves: Bully Bash, Crunch, Knock Off, Throat Chop, Dark Pulse, Snarl, Nasty Plot, Taunt, Psycho Cut, Zen Headbutt, Future Sight, Psychic, Psyshock, Calm Mind, Gravity, Magic Room, Teleport, Trick Room, Moonlight
Description: Manasym is a mammalian Pokemon that incorporates the physical features of multiple mammals (primarily of wolves and rabbits). It is quadrupedal but can stand on its hind legs to use its front paws if needed.
