I was just chilling the other day and said...

Could monoclaw still work with all the meta developments? prolly not but idk how you guys feel about it

I suggest to use body slam on ursaluna since it's more consistent than facade with or without status + gives para if you feeling lucky

Anyways moving on. I love pairing urs with tera water gliscor since, despite sharing an ice weakness, ursaluna can be a counter to hex users. Especially if ursaluna has AV to take some draco meteors.

TL;DR use body slam over facade + AV guts ursaluna is good

The meta is what YouTubers and Evil Emperor Finchinator tell me it is.

On a serious note, how we feel about Adamant Ogerpon. Been running Adamant Cornerstone and it demolishes fat. Wondering if people have tried or had success with Adamant Wellspring?

Never tried it but considered it on a webs team to leverage its bulk or as a pivot but yeahthat's mostly it as the oger-w really wants that speed to catch up. Maybe oger-base could use adamant more but I'm not sure since it needs to speed tie with boosted iron moth.

its used quite a bit during OLT, my fav way to use it is as a pseudo-lead with spikes/play rough/ivy cudgel/trailblaze, u can get spikes up pretty easily and with its great damage output, you almost always claim 1 kill with trailblaze + cudgel/play rough. You can also use SD instead of spikes, and even go all out and use synthesis over play rough. Since ogerpon-wellspring is already very strong a lot of people put quite a bit of investment in spdef to live modest lorb psycho boost from full on adamant sets

Tbh while people say it's hard to use stall in this meta without using your brain (in which I agree btw). I can't help but also want to say that stall (especially the one from the RMT with quagsire) is unironically fun to me as I plummeted down to 1200's due to the usual gamer rage grinding pipeline with my webs HO so I gave in and tried stall as suggested by the OU room. And when I tried using it, I obviously struggled and lost 5 games with it due to having the HO mindset. It luckily got out of my system and I managed to succesfully go back to 1300's (and hopefully 1400's) and go back to using my usual webs HO if I can succesfully adapt to the meta.

TL;DR Just like what almost everyone says. Spam stall low ladder, go back to your usual team style once your in high ladder or smth.

Stall is probably that absolute most consistent way to make it through low ladder due to poor team construction on the enemy players end- though you should be able to always smoothly get out of low ladder with any well-built team and some skill.
Also, might I recommend exploring other play styles? HO and Stall are so linear and a bit matchup fishy that it can hide your mistakes as a player. Playing Bulky Balance to standard offense to everything in between is a great way to spot your flaws and improve as a player.

Is spamming stall in low elo the standard advice? I suppose it will easily break the badly constructed teams you see in the 1000-1300s, but I would guess so do the other good teams whether they are HO or balance.
It's probably the easiest to win with because bad players are disproportionally even worse against stall, and you're less likely to lose to something cheesy. However, if your goal is climbing quickly (like for suspect reqs) HO is usually the best style to use because of its speed and comparable easiness.

I’ve been climbing with the most devious Blaziken set ever concocted. No spoilers, but I’ll say this: it doesn’t click SD. I may have Overcooked… RMT coming soon…? Depends if I can make it to at least 1779 ELO.

edit: ok no more guessing guys. i’m not trying to derail the thread here (plus I already said it’s a secret for now)
