You said that it seems like people are trolling when you enter the thread. I'm wondering how you think people can engage differently or maybe particularly egregious examples of trolling.

maybe trolling was the wrong word. it's a lot of joking around with references to people's previous games and playstyles, which works for others - but is not the sort of conversation i can join in on until i actually have time to read through said meta. i'm not really asking for... change? i was more so providing context as to why i felt so awkward contributing when it would simply feel forced and uncomfortable.
Hmm. On second thought, I agree. I think mafia would have arranged a distraction if one of them was involved in that.
part of why i think you're wolfy is the fact that so many people have townread you thus far and you still seem paranoid, pressing people for their reads on you. you also seem to be echoing a lot of whatever is popular at the time, making it seem like you're contributing more than you are.

yeah something similar. just whatever it is, make it so that the thread's sole focus isnt the two of them having a spat if one is maf, bc it draws unnecessary attn to them (in the sense that if someone picks a side in that fight, they come out SRing the other more)

i feel like this logic has been explained quite a bit - statements like those are empty because there's no way to actually substantiate them.

Like I usually ask people bc I want their opinion on me. But I usually say my reads to.
maf dont benefit from such a strong disagreement btwn two players if one of those players is maf, bc it paints a difference btwn the two, and then people take side and start being suspicious of the other person. maf want to lay low and not get into too many fights that arent beneficial, especially an argument like that where there isnt really a long-lasting impact on how people play or voting. i dunno. i feel like if that was TvM, then it's really detrimental for the M player in that to keep pushing the argument for no real good reason
as much as it's good to know people's reads on you, it feels a little excessive with the frequency at which you do it.
What sucks abt the game state rn is there are so many people who are INV/UTR that you have to question ok are they purposefully doing this or they just not here

No problem. The reason why I have been concerned about you is because your posts read to me like you are trying to fit in without really offering any content that's beyond surface level. Then when I asked you to vote you should you'd come back in an hour with substance and then you didn't.
I feel you in that it can be hard to drop into a thread that's been going on and there's not a lot of coherency and arguments in which you can opine on. Let me try and help guide you into the thread - if you had to vote someone, who would it be and why? On a different track, what stopped you from voting day 1?
I think we can just move on to day 3 if that's what people want to do. I tried hard but can't think of anyway to avoid the bellringer vote.
