Dead by Daylight Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Traphouse

You requested an offense team centered around Volcanion and thus I present to you... Traphouse!

This a team focused on abusing Volcanion's ability to trap and remove pesky defensive Pokémon such as Dondozo and Sinistcha with the combination of Fire Spin and Taunt. The team is centered around the main core of Volcanion and it's partners; Dragonite and Great Tusk;

:volcanion: - Volcanion's main role is to click meaty Steam Eruptions as well as trap the aforementioned Dondozo and Sinistcha. Modest is run over Timid to make it's STABs even stronger. Volcanion's natural coupled with it's fantastic typing is also very nice to have as it can act as a soft-check to threats like Iron Valiant and Iron Moth. Tera Ghost is chosen to let Volcanion be immune to Zamazenta's Body Press which lets it threaten another notorious physical wall
:dragonite: - Dragonite massively benefits from Volcanion trapping Dondozo and Sinistcha as they both stone wall it's standard Dragon Dance + Roost set. Dragonite also contributes defensively by dealing with a huge threat in Ogerpon as a result of it's typing and ability Multiscale. This ability as well as Extreme Speed also let's Dragonite threaten offense teams who can overwhelm Volcanion. Normal is the Tera of choice to boost Extreme Speed's power as well as to let Dragonite also act as a check to Ghost types like Dragapult and Gholdengo by blocking their STAB Shadow Ball.
:great-tusk: - Tusk's role is to provide Rapid Spin and Knock Off support. It's a Pokémon that needs no introduction and one that benefits from Volcanion's support in breaking physical walls. Tera Fire is here to allow Tusk to resist Enamorus Moonblast and Sinistcha's Matcha Gotcha.

Clefable, Kingambit and Zamazenta round off the team by covering the weak points of the main core.

:clefable: - Clef is the rocker of choice due to it's ability to soft-check essentially every Pokémon in the tier due to it's "just enough" bulk, massive movepool and fantastic ability, Magic Guard. I went with Thunder Wave as the utility move aside from Stealth Rock to provide some form of speed control as well as to neutralise threatening offensive Pokémon like Enamorus and Kyurem. The EVs live two unboosted Moonblasts from Enamorus while the rest of the EV points are put into defense to let Clefable be good into sweepers like Roaring Moon. I went with Tera Water to allow Clef to be able to be a backup check to Walking Wake and Dragon Dance Kyurem.
:kingambit: - Another OU Titan due to it's immense bulk and fantastic snowball potential from Swords Dance and the ability Supreme Overlord. Gambit's spread is very simple since it's presence alone is enough to patch up holes against Pokémon like Pecharunt and Iron Crown and Dragapult and Gholdengo... you get the point. Gambit is running Tera Dark to boost Kowtow Cleave and Sucker Punch however you can also run Tera Flying to provide the team with a second Ground immune Pokémon (Dragonite is not a Ground immune in big 2025).
run defiant to turn the tables on pecharunt who wants to put you in the spin cycle with parting shot ;)
:zamazenta: - Lastly, the Hero of Many Battles, Zamazenta. Assault Vest Zama helps in the fight against Enamorus who is a huge threat to this team. Tera Steel let's it resist Fairy as well as boost it's Heavy Slam. The EVs here let you eat two Iron Valiant Moonblasts.

The team is very fun to play with and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
(no replays because i forgot to save them...)

Massive shoutouts to Mimikyu Stardust who helped me build the team!!

hello, https://pokepast.es/8e92e302a0bd171b here is the team i built for you with mamoswine. https://pokepast.es/32b7d28a02bfe8f0 and here is if palafin gets banned

:pmd/mamoswine: It uses a more UU set with trailblaze + tera grass instead of tera ice + knock off in the last slot. The goal of the team is to be able to be able to provide support for a clean late game, especially since its uncommon in ou people may not assume trialblaze has potential. You can run a jolly nature to outspeed dragapult at +1 if you want.

:pmd/palafin:
:pmd/ogerpon-wellspring: - These 2 perform similar rolls, with encore they can give members or themselves setup opportunities. With encore they can lock an opponent like corviknight, dondozo, tera fairy garg, etc and lock them into their move for other members to take advantage of

:pmd/landorus-therian: - simple, its the rocker and i like lando > tusk as tusk overlaps a lot with mamo, lando-t can also pivot in the strong hitters like LO deo-s and raging bolt into the field to allow them to take adavntage of the water types that would be keen on switching in on mamo for ex.

:pmd/deoxys-speed: - speed control, and just strong mixed attacker that can bully stuff or take advantage of fast offense that mamo may struggle into. Generally the purpose of it is simple. It also helps vs booster speed tusk to psycho boost it into oblivion

:pmd/slowking-galar: - Made it with future + chilly and the fact mamo is an ice type makes it one of the mons who really benefit from it. This also goes super handy with ogerpon-w or palafin as often times smth like water absorb clod, dragonite, raging bolt, alo, pecharunt, zapdos, and more can also sit on them. Slowking-g is also the sp. def wall on the team

:pmd/raging bolt: - raging bolt partners up with mamo to threaten the waters and corv/skarm who will def try to sit on it. Mamoswine compliments it well by breaking through mons like ting lu, clodsire, slowking-g, gliscor, and more. Esp with trailblaze it cna take a turn and run away with a game in the endgame

Not gonna lie felt kind of impatient so I made a list of people who hadn't received Secret Santa team yet (you may delete this later matte, I just set this up as a reminder so yeah-)

toshimelonhead
mixnite
@FFF (You know who :>)
HydreigonTheChild
Duckular

LordThemberchaud
myself12

This is probably also a reminder that the last day of submission is near so yeah.
(I'm very sorry if this sounded rude to you, if so then you may delete it matte and I'll bring out my ukelele for an apology if needed :quagchamppogsire: )

EDIT: Will cross out names for the ones who got it now ^^

Team Built around Nasty Plot Hydreigon for HydreigonTheChild

:hydreigon: - The mon the team is built around, serves primarily as a special breaker.

:Dragapult: - Cleaner and wincon that benefits greatly from Hydreigon wearing down dragon and dark/ghost resists.

:Samurott-hisui: - Hazard setter that further pressures dark resists. Sacred sword lures opposing dark types an gives a backup option for dealing with kingambit

:okidogi: - Zama counter, kingambit check, and general stall/fat breaker. It's defensive typing complements hydreigon's very well, since any ground or psychic type attacks aimed at it can give Hyreigon a free entry point

:darkrai: - Scarfer that benefits from hydreigon's wallbreaking, while in turn being able to chunk or take out fairy types with sludge bomb.

:raging bolt: - Additional dragon type wallbreaker that also draws out ground types for hydreigon to come in on. Can handle a lot of fairies in the tier if they're even somewhat weakened.

Duckular Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Was gonna submit this earlier, but decided to wait for palafin suspect in case it got banned. Good thing I did.
I present to you, as per your request, my Swanna team :)

:sv/swanna:
Cygnus (Swanna) @ Lagging Tail
Ability: Big Pecks
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- Tailwind
- Roost
- Flip Turn

I was tasked with the near impossible task of building a Swanna team. I looked at its stats, nothing impressive. Okayish all around. The typing? Decent, but with no bulk to pair with it. The abilities? Absolutely useless. The movepool? Well, I didn't want to use it for offense purposes, with such a nice defensive typing. However, it had some really cool status moves. With access to defog, pivot move, roost and tailwind, I decided to make this team a tailwind team. I went lagging tail, so I was able to get a slow pivot next turn into my offensive mons.

:sv/corviknight:
Corvus (Corviknight) @ Lagging Tail
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Tailwind
- Roost
- U-turn
- Body Press

Next we got ourselves a Corviknight as our second tailwind spreader. I like Corv's defensive abilties, its slow pivot and longevity. Lagging tail once again, and we got ourselves a tailwind duo.

:sv/ursaluna:
Ursa Major (Ursaluna) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Facade
- Headlong Rush
- Fire Punch

The epitome of offensive, physical breaker. This mon is an absolute force to reckon with, and with tailwind to boost its middling speed, it turns into one of the biggest threats on the field. It also acts as our electric immunity and ground type.

:sv/hoopa-unbound:
Orion (Hoopa-Unbound) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Magician
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Psychic
- Hyperspace Fury
- Focus Blast
- Ice Punch

The most terrifying special attacker in existence. The only thing holding it back was its okayish speed, but now we have fixed that with tailwind. I went with a mixed set to WRECK stall and so that nothing is able to actually wall it.

:sv/brambleghast:
Scorpius (Brambleghast) @ Life Orb
Ability: Wind Rider
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Poltergeist
- Shadow Sneak
- Power Whip
- Tera Blast

This is a pretty funny pokemon in my opinion. It's coverage moves are good, but it lacks any real speed. It also doesn't have any immediate power. However, the really great part about this pokemon is its ability, Wind Rider. This ability boosts the Pokémon's Attack stat if Tailwind takes effect or if the Pokémon is hit by a wind move. The Pokémon also takes no damage from wind moves. I paired it up with tera fighting tera blast along with its stabs to help it have a better time VS kingambit.

:sv/raging bolt:
Centaurus (Raging Bolt) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderclap
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunderbolt

The last pokemon. Dragon type provides good resistances, has volt switch, priority and a good special attack. It also has protosynthesis, which boosts its spatk even more. Tera Fairy for some resistances to common dragon types and kingambit, just in case. Tailwind really benefits this pokemon.

I hope you liked the team. I had a great time on ladder with it, I hope you do too :)

P.S. Sorry for the late submission. This team had palafin previously, but I wanted to wait after the suspect test in case it got banned (I was right!)

Merry christmas mixnite - I am so sorry I couldn't get this to you earlier with Palafin legal. You asked for Palafin + specially offensive Dragonite - here's your team.

:sv/palafin-hero: :sv/dragonite: :sv/iron crown: :sv/pecharunt: :sv/cinderace: :sv/samurott-hisui:

I used bulky special Dragonite here as a lure for common Palafin checks like Alomomola and Dondozo - Draco easily does over 60% to them and, when combined with Hisuian Samurott's Spikes support, make them a great combination able to overwhelm most defensive cores.

:palafin-hero: Palafin is a 3A Encore set, able to ruin most defensive staples with Encore as well as pivot and revenge-kill offensive threats. Nothing much to say about it.

:dragonite: Dragonite acts as a bulky attacker here, capable of threatening Grass-types like Ogerpon-W that would otherwise annoy this team as well as luring the aforementioned physical walls. It also provides a Ground immunity to an otherwise-Ground weak team.

:iron crown: + :pecharunt: Two really good walls on each side of the defensive spectrum that both provide pivoting and great resistances. Not much more to say here, both fulfill their dex roles well.

:cinderace: This team's only hazard control - it can be annoying with Hamurott's Spikes, but it provides more pivoting and can do well against hazard stack teams.

:samurott-hisui: A semblance of speed control was needed, and Hamurott provides hazard and Knock support as well as (you guessed it) another pivot.

i really like this team, if i were to change fin, what would be optimal?

chrollo crying. : r/HunterXHunter

Possibly Ogerpon since it has similar movesets barring priority from jet punch, or even azumarill with aqua jet but that thing has many problems right now unfortunately
Oger-W is the correct replacement yeah since it fulfills a similar role with Encore however it's pretty Spikes weak. Oger-T might be the optimal choice since it has the pseudo Scarf from Tera (which also lets me run Boots Samu) and can run Boots as its item

^ This is for matte who requested a Ting Lu Red Card + Glimmora hazard stacking team.

Tundra is a hazard-stacking team built for resilience, disruption, and offensive synergy. Spikeball (Glimmora) was chosen as the primary hazard setter, using Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock, and coverage options like Mud Shot and Power Gem to pressure the opposition while maintaining utility. Blitzen (Ting-Lu) joined to complement the hazard game with Spikes and phazing via Whirlwind, offering exceptional bulk with Tera Water to counter Rain-based threats. Shredder (Gholdengo) was added to spinblock and act as a revenge killer with Choice Scarf and utility from Trick. Flashlight (Slither Wing) brought momentum and priority to the team, providing critical offensive and pivoting options to pressure Ogerpon-Wellspring, Darkrai, Kyurem, and Kingambit. Tinkerbelle (Tinkaton) was selected for its unique role as an offensive utility piece, combining Knock Off, Thunder Wave, and Air Balloon to handle Flying-types and disrupt setups. Finally, Direwolf (Zamazenta) rounded out the squad as a late-game cleaner with Tera Ice to handle Gliscor and Dragonite.

This team is for the one and only, Faux Focalors Furina !!

:Ninetales-Alola::iron-treads::walking-wake::iron-moth::zamazenta::gholdengo:(click for link)

I'll admit, fitting both Wake and Ninetales on the same team was weird, especially because Wake couldn't be used on sun. I ended up going with an Agility Booster Wake set which can more easily click to sweep thanks to Veil, as well as it giving support to teammates like Iron-Moth with Knock-Off to disturb things like AV Gking. Tera Steel gives you good resists like Ice, Fairy and Psn. But you can go Tera Water on it for more power but if you do that I would choose Sub > Agility just for Raging Bolt.

The first two members are just a basic Snow core, Atails for snow (you can go Snowscape > Moonblast) and Iron Treads for stuff like Bolt and Ghold (You can also make it Eq + Ice Spinner over the special set). Iron Moth likes Wake enabling it and can clean up endgames nicely. Zama is alot of glue on this team checking stuff like W-pon and Gambit and Np Ghold on an Air Balloon for Spin/Defog blocking. Psyshock on it because ngl this team gets slammed by stall and you can go Lorb > Air Balloon for more power. Tera Water on it as a general defensive type and good tera out of its weaknesses. You have to play Wakes positioning well on this team, and making sure it clicks Knock-Off alot and when to spend your Booster. Eg. you can come in on Cinderace and get an Agility up, and try to weaken stuff or lead Treads to deny a Cinderace lead and get rocks up.

Thank You Everyone!
Thank you all who participated in this secret santa, I had a blast hosting it and I hope you all enjoyed your teams ;)
see ya next year - matte :jirachi:

Omg..
furina-furina-cry.gif

It's finally HERE!! Anyways.. I did like 3 games and it was SO FUN!!! I didn't even do any edits at all and it was so GOOD! (Although I did it on a low ladder alt but whatever.)

furina-approves.gif

This team was so fun I wish I can kiss you matte (Jk XD)

Anyways here's some replays on a low ladder alt:
First Game
Obviously this was low ladder due to my opponents naiveness of staying in with :pelipper:Pelipper/using u-turn on him instead of immediately swtching out. And them using scald on :kingdra:Kindgdra against my :zamazenta:Zamazenta instead of draco meteor or hydro pump. But overall was a quick and easy win :3
(Sadly didn't get to utilise wake but the second and third game really showed :walking-wake: Wake's utility/breaking power.
Second Game
This one was also a quick one and kind of a noob play on my opponents part (won't explain why this time, too lazy to type :p). :walking-wake:Wake didn't really care about a T-wave from :latias:latias and crippled a ton of mons with knock off, :zamazenta:zamazenta did the heavy work took down half of my opponents team with him. :iron-moth:Moth managed to give enough chip damage to :dragonite:Dragonite and :gholdengo:Ghold gladly finished the game for my team.

Third Game
:ninetales-alola: Ninetales sacrificed itself for:walking-wake:Wake and I could'ved swept if it wasn't for that unlucky para with :clefable: clefable doing a 2hko with Moonblast. :iron-moth: was kind of useless not gonna lie but it's alright as it allowed for :gholdengo: Ghold to luckily set up a bit and take down half the team. :zamazenta: zamazenta swept again.

Anyways that's all I can say for my gift matte I love it so much thank you for taking my wishlist!!

Now..

Happy New Year to you all!!

T'is I Faux (Not Focalors nor Furina because diemond35472 just shortened it to that but anyways-)

Happy Holidays matte! (Click text for team)

Thank you matte for letting me make this team as your secret Santa this year ^^

:jirachi:
Obviously I needed jirachi as that was matte 's wishlist for this year.
:jirachi::slowking-galar::zapdos::ogerpon-wellspring::kyurem::gholdengo:
This was the prototype team made mainly focused on Kyurem potentially sweeping and Ogerpon-W as a back-up sweeper (and for those wondering, Jirachi will be a punching bag- I mean hazard lead thoughout this process). Shoutouts to obliteratorofjoe on Pokemon Showdown! (no smogon account sadly,) for helping me make this prototype team. Ogerpon-W also serves as a semi-check to Palafin. This team didn't work out as the sets and stuff we're kinda weird and doesn't blend well.
:jirachi::slowking-galar::zapdos::great-tusk::kyurem::kingambit:
After a couple of battles and drawing board ideas scrapped. This is the team we made as our final gift for you matte ;)

View attachment 700618
:jirachi: - Jirachi is still a punching bag- I mean hazard lead in which it either dies after setting rocks and spreading para/flinches or uses healing wish.
EDIT: This is optional but go for tera ghost instead of tera dark if you're willing to use tera in front of tusk but what good will it do anyways but just saying from experience :quagchamppogsire:
:kyurem: - Kyurem sweeps (Tera Ghost is for espeed dnite or bp zamazenta) but only after Slowking-G sets up chilly reception, speaking of slowking-g.
:slowking-galar: - Slowking-g can pivot and delete sun or rain with chilly reception so best keep them alive as best as you can when against sun/rain teams.
:zapdos: - Specs zapdos is a cool surprise factor + is a bulky special attacker and is a second pivot user.
:Great-tusk: - Tusk does tusk things.
:kingambit: - Kingambit is a back up sweeper.

matte - Host of this thread + the one I'll give my team to.
diemond35472 - For nicknaming me Faux ^^'
obliteratorofjoe (on PS!) - For helping me with the teambuilding process

Now it may not be perfect but it is usable and fun to use! (Sadly no replays to show how it works as most of them are low ladder + I forgot to save them but) Have fun matte and others and let us all have a great time for this year of 2025!
