The reason I was not for voting pulsar/dbd yesterday is because D1 is the most important vote in terms of setting the tone to get interactions, and pulsar barely had(and still has) interactions with anyone and DBD isn't much better, its just a really bad vote for D1. NE(and Aligning) were ok votes in my eyes because they were around quite a bit but felt like they lacked presence in a way which warranted a vote from my end.

HOWEVER D2 the big difference is that I'm very confident in an ag(af by proxy)/Hyhy/charlie/Lechen and CK's claim pretty much means he's not the vote today. That leaves my voting pool at pulsar/NE/skip/DBD/Mekkah/you/des/Vizh. Given that I have stronger townreads its not the worst to vote a less active slot.

I'm never voting Mekkah/Vizh over the rest today, and probably not you over them either. I'd rather note vote DbD after he claimed blocked, and I do have my reasons for that. That does land me in a pulsar/NE/skip/des vote today which is consistent with what I've been doing so far?

You either think that I'm scum tunneling on 1 or 2 players and getting by with that, or you think that I'm hedging and keeping my options open for the vote. Which one is it? Because both points contradict each other.

Will respond to this first since it is most salient. Bullet points will be in relative order to his

- This is probably the most fair point (wrt tommy vote), and why I said it was weird but not damning.

- (combining this and last point) But surely you have to recognize that there is a difference between an outsize focus on two players and hedging your votes elsewhere? The issue that I have with it is that the bulk of your solving pressure seems to be focused on these two players and really nowhere else. So to answer your last point I don't see a contradiction there at all. You can focus most of your energy on only a select subset of the playerbase while hedging and giving token references to being open to the rest of the list. I don't think they are mutually exclusive.

- wrt D1/D2; I fail to see how your tone-setting argument doesn't apply in D2 (or if it applies in D2, how it applies in D1). There is still a lack of interaction from DBD and pulsar D2. I'm not saying that this necessarily clears them or makes them not a good vote (in fact, if not you I think they are in my top vote options too) but my main issue is with the apparent inconsistency with reasoning here. Why doesn't this apply to a D2 pulsar vote? Maybe this is just me approaching from an OC mindset but Idk what merited the shift here.

- Same thing wrt casing you for casing NE. I am also not a big fan of NE's behavior here but again wrt busser / busee I find the way you are going about this to be off. I don't have an issue with the particular target of your pressure but rather the way you are approaching it

As in like, as a general trend between D1 and D2? Since there's no daytalk.

I feel like basically everyone has shifted in loudness to some degree except for the guys who aren't posting at all and I'd kind of expect it with less players to bounce off of and more posts to work with.
 
Alright it's time to end the lowposter allegations

Preliminary thoughts

Right now, I think the thread is way too focused on finding scum vs finding town, like i saw the "at least one scum in this pool of 5 people" and I do not think we have that kind of time, unless, cop gets good targets

I'm first gonna reread today (d2) stuff while still liveposting, so that I make my thought process loud and clear.
I'll then move onto analyzing d1 pre-aligning, because I remember shit tons of resistance and that tends to indicate active scum trying to get wagons off certain people
Lastly, I'll do individual slot analysis if my movivation burst lasts that long

If anyone has any pressing questions before i start reading d2 lmk
