In some games I think mafia gets like fake/weak roles to claim as town, but I think since in this game they already get that fake visit I don't think host would also give them this kinda role. If it was another player I would agree, but idt you can really apply that logic to des. Without a pre-determined plan by maf (e.g. DBD claims to be blocked) I don't think des would come up with something like this for her scumbuddy. If the intent was to kill bluedoom, why not just cc bluedoom and ignore DBD? I don't think they thought it through and wouldn't have had support to play out the gambit so I think if they are s/s it would've been des trying to bus and somehow failing the bus into a town vote.
 
Respect to the people who are taking today to reread because I am mostly using this weekend as a much-needed refresh/getting irl stuff done. I don't feel confident immediately leaping into voting DBD off of maf!des flip and want to reread properly for interactions once we have confirmation they're not randomly itp which I guess would also explain the messiness.

Ehhhhhh I guess that’s fair

I just genuinely can’t think of a reason for s!des to claim there other than to get votes onto bluedoom specifically (and by virtue of that, off of DBD). It’s weird because des has kinda just made horrible votes before and they’re handwaved away, so why couldn’t des just do another strange vote onto DBD?

But yeah this does make enough sense where I am less committed to my solve attempt
